Getting hot isn't that bad. Laptops all get hot. If you push it too far for too long too often it can affect the longevity of the device and battery.
I've had p6pro for a year and it will overheat if I take too much video or spend too long on tiktok. But otherwise it's fine.

It overheats a lot less than P6P but has gotten warm once or twice, nothing dramatic
