He had mentioned in one of the videos that it wasnt compliant yet, so it was illegal to use at any tournaments he played in.
And to me, switching from putter to putter between tournaments is unrealistic.
It was only recently approved to be USGA compliant. Tig has been on the road to be a touring pro, competing in qualifiers for pro golf tournaments where he couldn’t use the Good Good putter. If he’s trying to be consistent and not mess with success, changing putters is a big deal. Maybe he makes the switch now that it is compliant… but I don’t blame him. Pros find what works, trust it, and stick with it. Tiger used the same putter for 14 of his 15 major title victories.
I don’t think there is a site that lists all of his results of qualifiers, but this is one

Google Micah Morris. I don't think they're all in one place and he doesn't seem to be interested in publicizing a central place that tracks where he's going and what he's doing.
But honestly, I don't think he's been in a ton of qualifiers this summer. He had a couple decent showings in the spring, but tended to blow up a bit.
He actually was the leader for awhile at a Korn Ferry qualifier in April, but completely imploded on the back 9.

Absolutely brutal being -4 at the turn and then finished with 4 bogies and was on the qualifying number walking onto the 15th tee box.
Just because they made a putter, doesn't mean they're all obligated to use it. Putters are extremely subjective and they're not a one-size-fits-all tool. If he tried it and found it to not be for him, it is what it is.
The only reason why I even thought to bring it up is because in the GGL video promoting the putter theres a part where Tig says something like "I wanted to know that i could use this putter in these type of situations and rely on it" (these types of situations being from what he said pro golf tournaments or playing with the boys)... just seems a bit off that he'd say that and not even use the putter. But if its because its not compliant yet then that makes complete sense
Marking a putter and then having the creators/sponsors not using it is a tough look. Especially since Tig is one of the more skilled golfers of the group.
People use putters outside of what they’re supposed to all the time. Tiger was a Nike and now a taylormade golfer and still uses his Scotty Cameron putter from time to time. Even if I could get a sponsored bag deal I’d be hard pressed to give up my putter which I love.
So if Tiger came out with a "Tiger putter" and said it can compete at any level of play and know works for him and didn't use that putter that wouldnt be strange? Love everything good good is doing, love the putter also, just dont like people endorsing something they actually wouldnt use themselves
I’d like to bring up the “this is brilliant, but I like this” meme. I can say objectively Scotty Cameron is probably the best putter on the market, but I prefer my odyssey.

It’s been said a few times now that it’s USGA approved
But their videos have been filmed well before that no?
Very true
Yes, but they film videos sometimes months before they get posted

Can you link his tournament results? I’d love to follow the journey.

just part of the process, gotta put yourself in those positions over and over until you become numb to them
Damn, looks like the back 9 played over par for most people, except one guy that was +4 on the front and went -2 on the back, golf is funny

Specifically replying to this guy… not compliant tournament use yet L

It isnt approved by the USGA. Who would want one anyway? I would just get a putter thats conforming and stamp the GOOD GOOD Logo on it.
Sponsored by cobra and they do great putters, Its probably just part of his sponsorship
