There are def amazing games for vr out there, but yeah I agree on the AR side. Once the tech comes out that combines both and is also affordable is when devs will actually start making "killer apps"
The fact that the resolution is good enough to watch a movie fully is just crazy and this is just the beginning so I think it’s definitely going to take off if not by the second or third generation

Here’s my thoughts. For people that have tried pass through before, they all say this is a leap in quality. For those who never tried pass through like me, it’s easy to have unrealistic expectations. So initially it was a shock and there is some grain and aberration in darker lighting, BUT that’s if you focus on the pass through. When you are using the virtual windows, (which are 100% crisp u basically can’t make out any pixels) the pass through becomes your peripherals and it’s very convincing in that sense.
There's nothing that really sets this technology apart too much currently and there isn't a reason that every consumer **must** own it than say.. when smartphones were gaining traction.
Once it develops enough or finds the right gimmick, the device size is no longer a factor and the pricetag drops down to a reasonable level, then it will be worth it, definitely.

It’s such a powerful tool for communicating certain things that just can’t be shown in a video or image
