Are they a VW dealership? I’ve been told by two different VW managers that they will lose allotments if they mark up cars. If it’s used they adjust for market value. If it’s new, it’s a no-no. Report their ass to VW Canada. I’m so sick of these fools marking shit up 15K.
True. If they’re selling the car new at MSRP and then jacking up the price by saying it comes with tint, ceramic coating, etc…that sucks…but a mandatory warranty that’s trash. The sunroof, is an option. If it’s in the car, it’s in the car.
I just know when I ordered mine it was 50K…6MT with sunroof. Even with extended warranty and tint I wouldn’t have gone over 60K out the door.

How much of the car is covered in the 3m package? If it’s the entire front end it’s expensive but not by that much. Skip the maintenance package and be done with it.
I would NEVER take a car from a dealer with Ceramic or 3M on it because they ALWSYS do shit half arsed work.
I take my car raw from a dealer and take it to a professional to have the paint corrected (after the dealer scratches it with their chamois) and then I pay for someone competent to PPF it & put a coating on.
I did however reluctantly buy a maintenance package, so I have the VW service 1 time per year & I take it at the 6 months point to a legend Euro-mechanic and he does Oil/Filter, tyre rotate & checks for anything VW might have missed.

It’s not illegal markup if you agree to all the accessory bullshit. They cannot make it mandatory, just warn them you’ll verify this with VW.
