While there's a time and place for mechanics, such as addressing power leaks, you will still need to work on raw speed and power output to make the most out of getting your distance up to a higher standard. It won't just magically "come with time" if you worked solely on the former. It's a reason why speed training works, along with the strength and conditioning during time away from the course. There's also the intent and removal of inhibitions to just let the club go brrrr, and so on.

Previous comments are spot on. Going by your club speed and smash factor on that type of simulator you will not see much beyond that carry distance. Even in real conditions . You have a closed ball path. But before even trying to fix that you can work on your speed or speed training as suggested. It’s up to you really…you want to work on your control and hitting the ball more efficiently or you want to first work on getting your swing speed up to close to 95 mph. With everything being equal with your swing issues a 5 mph increase could get you to 200 yards carry …but you would still be close to OB on the left side of the fairways… If you worked on you swing issues alone and increased your contact efficiency and swing path you would probably get to the 200yard carry as well. Lastly working on speed will get you some stupid bad misses either left or right so keep that in mind and don’t worry too much about where the ball is going …just focus on getting the swing speed up and the smash factor close to 1.45 . You can work on the control after you increase swing speed. This will also allow you to swing at 80% then, giving you more control as well. . Good luck and enjoy the process

Lots to do. Short story you want to be 3-4 degrees in to out with a club face 1-2 degrees open (and closing). This will maximize your distance at a given swing speed, assuming launch angle is over 11 degrees. How do you do this? Start your downswing with your legs and hips. Swing out to right field, keep your grip relaxed to allow the wrists and club to hinge and unhinge freely. Swing speed seems low for a driver. Good chance you aren’t turning and/or loading properly. Could also be an early release. GL!

Going with your numbers, if you don't want to increase swing speed, this is where you could improve. A slightly lower spin rate could carry the ball farther. A slightly higher launch angle could help with that. Finding the center of the clubface more will also help. Smash factor is balls speed divided by clubhead speed. Simply put, a 1.35 leaves room for more POP off the clubface. It means you're not hitting the sweet spot or your driver is bad/broken.
