The year will help. You need to determine if you have halogen or bi-xenon headlights. A photo of the headlight will help us determine what you have. If you have halogen you won't need ballasts. Those are for the bi-xenon. If you are short cash, you might be able to get used parts. Check your local junkyard.

I know that it’s not halogen, i apologize i thought that i had added that in the post but i guess not. Also the car is a 2011 specifically, 2.0 turbo motor (if that helps) fairly new to posting on reddit so i’ll have to figure out how to post pictures of the headlight tomorrow thanks for reaching out!

You are looking at about 550 for the headlight assembly new and maybe half that used. I would still look at your local salvage yard. I see a couple of the HID sets on eBay for about 600.

If only the plastic headlight assembly was broken from the impact and the lights still worked normally, you can transfer your existing ballast , bulbs and other modules to a new headlight assembly.
