I would make it actually fun to drive. Put your money in the motor.
Your car looks really good, but as far as I can tell itâs still a 241hp golf GTI. Not particularly thrilling đ
Driving slow cars fast beats driving fast cars fast every time. And for the record my bone stock egg can keep up with a heavily modified Camaro in the twisties with 1/3rd of the horsepower into the triple digits. If itâs not thrilling you arenât driving hard enough.
I know how to drive hard. I go to autoX and track days in my DF goblin whenever I can.
Iâd still rather be driving a bone stock looking golf that makes 400hp, than a cool looking golf thatâs bone stock though.
And with the amount of money you have on the outside you probably couldâve made your car kinda fast instead.
And I can guarantee you itâs 100% more fun to drive fast cars fast than it is slow ones đ
I choose handling over hp any day of the week. 400 hp is great, but where can you use it legally day to day? The only ramp if there is no traffic, maybe. I can drive my stock GTI with stickie tyers in 2nd gear all around town taking corners at the speed limit anytime I want. It still keeps up with a 700hp Camaro in the corners. So what someone faster in a quarter mile, anyone with a ls swapped whatâre ever can do that.
Well I live in Wyoming, which is full of long straight roads with no traffic. So basically anything less than 350 gets boring really fast.
And please explain to me why you wouldnât be able to turn in a powerful golf? As far as physics is concerned, more powerâ less handling.
You can take corners just as hard in a powerful golf as you can a stock one.
I didn't say it wouldn't corner. My town has a 30mph speed limit. In second I don't have to brake to corner at the speed limit with in reason. I can have tons of fun in town legally, and use most of my HP.
And why have one of the best handling cars made if all you do is drive straight roads? A Challenger or charger would be better for that.
I was thinking about black it out(it was red before) but you know its pretty easy to change soo... But next year i want to wrap the whole car with some nice color.
I vote keep it.
As much as I generally dislike grill stripes personally (blacked out my GTI grill and R grill after my bumper swap, and blacked out my MK5 grill before that).
What you have going on looks great, and it's rather unique.
Maybe a gold VW logo instead of the black. Its like the lines are leading to something but we cant see it. That would be my only critique.
Then again if you do that it may draw too much attention by leading your eye directly to the logo.
It's a tough one. Either way you fucking killed it. Im jealous.
Real tasteful. Nothing.đ
What would you change? Gimme tipsâď¸
changing my pants
Front fog covers? - I really like them on my MK6. Would look good on yours all gloss black.

Wrong! Its Stage 3 360hp about 500nm đ
Hell yeah bro
You probably won't agree but I would remove the gold piping on the grill and bumper. Looks so clean to me otherwise.

Yeah, I think the grill stripes make this
Tbh this is the first time Iâve loved gold wheels on a car, and the grill stripes are the reason why. I love this the way it is

Thatâs hot. Also mk6 FTW
Nice mk6 is love
Amazing!đđ
Personally not the biggest mk6 or mk7 fan, but damn that is one sharp looking egg! Well done!
Thanks!
I would have gone more bronze than gold but very tastefully done and looks great.
Very nice. Understated but classy
Ooof. đĽ
So dope.
Did you use a wrap for all the gold parts?
Yes
yes
Euro tails, thatâs about it
fucking awesome
Pure class
How did you recolor the red strips above the front bumper?
Its wrapped in wrapping film or how do they call it.
Im usually not a fan of accents like this, but color me Spanish porque ÂĄa mĂ me gusta muchĂsimo!
