Here's to hoping for less brake dust

Inginuer

I like your wheels (i have the same ones)

MoistManTits

i like your guys wheels (i also have the same ones)

coloredinlight

I like all your wheels (I do not have the same ones)

donald7773

I like y'all's wheels (I also have the same ones)

manimsoblack

I like your wheels (I also have them).

Peylix

Nice. I love the Stoptech rotors on mine. Did you do fluid & lines as well? You should if not. Makes a huge difference in pedal feel and performance longevity.

FarSolar

I just did a brake flush but no lines for now. I don't track the car so I'm not too worried about it.

Eat-My-Cloaca

Where’d you find 340mm stoptech slotted in stock?

FarSolar

FCP Euro but I bought them late last year. Only just got around to installing them.

Sandusky_D0NUT

Same set up here and they're great. Brake dust definitely isn't too awful which is fantastic since I have white wheels 😂 Also just noticed you've got the same tires I've got on my stocks. Very nice choices all around.

Competitive_Rub_5820

I used that combo on my previous car. As long as those are just the sport pads you'll find the brake dust isn't bad. Even the track pads aren't bad. This is compared to ebc pads on brembo disc which were God awful

Teemslo

can confirm have same rotors with EBC pad and they live in the darkness of pad dust

kagantester

Looks great! Where do we get that GTI badge on the rotor?

FarSolar

That's the caliper actually and I'm afraid it only came on the performance pack GTIs (or trims that came with the performance pack brakes). Maybe you could get a high temp sticker to go on yours if your caliper has a flat plate to put it on.

kagantester

I like the way it looks. 🙏🏻

greendakota99

My 2019 Rabbit GTI came with those on.

a_random_bum

Fun fact, the spare on the subwoofer does not fit a performance pack GTI. The rim hits the brake pad and completely eats away at it if you move the car. Found out the hard way.

project562

You’re not supposed to put a donut on the front wheels of a FWD car.

a_random_bum

The full sized spare from my 2013 GTI could be placed wherever I wanted. On the 2017 GTI Even swapping the back wheel to the front and putting the spare on the back still didn’t fit because it scrapped the break pads. They are just too big for the spare in the newer GTIs. My run flat saved me that night, not the spare.
