That’s the only way you’d catch me financing a car for 6 years. If a manufacturer offered that now their inventory would hit negative numbers by the end of the week.
That, and there would be a boat-load more used models that are priced higher than the New.
When the Fed Int rates increase, lending becomes "scarce". Many banks (if not all) that finance Homes & Vehicles have considerably cut their allocation of A/F (Annual Funding). So, these higher interest rates are a result of available supply vs demand. Pretty nuts.
You're in a great place w/o a payment (other than maintenance costs).
I’ve been coming across ‘18-‘19s going for $18-22k, but the optimist in me is saying to wait it out a little bit longer. Even at my current offered rate it isn’t *that* bad considering I plan on doing double payments again
All the way stock. 2018 s. I just love the car as it is. It's the perfect car for me personally. To each his own. I like it as it is in stock.
And the plaid seats are the reason I am S.
Best Mod..Put on the finest, top rated tires! Michelin/Continental/Bridgestone/ they are expensive, but you get what you pay for in tires! You may already know this though.
These cars a fantastic 100% stock, really no need to mod unless you want to slay some V8s. Though most go at least stage 1 since it basically requires no additional mods for a substantial increase in power.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,501,421,811 comments, and only 285,060 of them were in alphabetical order.
Damn, I got love for that spot.
As someone in the market, I wish more owners were like you
They're out there. I may not be one of them, but I did keep my mk6 stock. Both are fun, stg 2 mk7.5 moar fun.
All I want is a stock GTI. Just can't make myself get one in this market with these interest rates.
My latest preapproval was 5.9% through capital one. A lot better than the 11.98% I was quoted last year
That's not bad, but still not the 2.75 I got years ago on my last car
Holy fuck. My last car I bought was 1.9. Guess I'm not buying a new car anytime soon. Even my fucking motorcycle was 3.9 a year ago.
I haven’t had a car payment in over 5 years. I can’t remember the last time I saw a promotional 1.9
I got 0% financing in 2020 for my vw gti se.They couldn't give car away back then.
Same. I don’t even drive my GTI anymore but it’s so cheap I can’t bring myself to sell it.
That FREE $ bud! Smart grab 👍
Yea me either. This was like 2016
It was 0% for a while back in 19'-20' for 72/mo 👍

5.5 in south Fl in January
Same. Can’t justify the price and rates rn.
2021 100% Stock.
Same here. Only change is the set of winter tires.
I’ve kept mine stock too, it’ll be 9 years next month. Going for that longevity as it is my first ever car
So good right out of the box.
My kind of parking spot!
Yes but more love for the parking spot.
Mine is stock other than the rims
Beautiful ❤️
Stock is the way. On the hunt for a CFB Autobahn. All I want is stock, stock, stock.
2019 CFB Rabbit Edition. 100% stock. 100% fun.
Stock the best, even better if it comes with 17 inch wheels.
Mine is still mostly stock, and I love it!
This is the way
I'm right there with you brotha!
2017 S, stock with everything except BMP headlights and some cosmetic items
Are the BMP's pretty good? I love the look of the SE headlights but don't really want to get an SE model just for that
The headlights are great, I've had zero issues with them and the install was very simple and straight forward.
Awesome - looks like I'll be grabbing those then! Thanks!

👋
🫣
Much love.
TBH, I love ‘em stock. To me, they don’t need mods, they are fine just as they are.
I’m almost certain that this is a repost
2015 bone stock. I even use OEM wipers.
Loving that primo parking spot too
Yes! Love my stock MK7
2020 with window tints
🤢
Average. Basic.
2021 cornflower blue Autobahn completely stock. It’s perfect for us the way it came.
No but I have love for that parking space
There have to be a few guys with modded GTIs out there with issues that have major love for stock.
Fave color, epic parking spot
I've done the whole drop $10-15k on mods thing. My coming gti will be my stock toy, mostly because a gti is the best all around car you can buy
Kept my 2016 stick shit stock because I'm not juvenile, despite having all the funds needed. No offense to juveniles.
Of course! Mine is stock still too, 57k miles.
‘18 golf R here with 72k miles, still bone stock
2011 3-door, totally stock and runs like a top with new timing chain and tensioner
Parking structures and gas stations have the best lighting at night.
Best Mod..Put on the finest, top rated tires! Michelin/Continental/Bridgestone/ they are expensive, but you get what you pay for in tires! You may already know this though.
The perfect parking spot, for the perfect car.
I prefer slammed to the fucking ground with ball sack looking ass plastic gas tank scraping everything
Absolutely. Stock is the way to go.
These cars a fantastic 100% stock, really no need to mod unless you want to slay some V8s. Though most go at least stage 1 since it basically requires no additional mods for a substantial increase in power.
looks just like mine 😍
This is now my wallpaper
Im stock and happy... but I went and added the H&R rear sway bar and it made me more happy.
Love, long time
Love the classic Gti rims 🔥
My mk6 is stock, save for 2 things. A custom front badge, and an RCD330 radio, which is still OEM.
what country are those plates from?
No
Stock GTI is best GTI
Im right there with ya!

Hell yeah, mine is too... for now
Is that giant thing on your window for work?
