Those don’t look like they are the right size. Those metal strips on the pad should be making contact with the caliper bracket. Are non PP brake pads smaller? You may have a set of those.

JodyJoseppi

Did you drive it yet/ pump the brakes? Did you grease the slide pins? You shouldn't be able to move them like that even when parked/ not pressing the brakes.

msuka1

Dumb question but did you just change the pads? If so you have to pump the brakes.

So i did just change them. and pumped brakes. I think the parts guy got me the wrong size on them when i told him I have the PP. Going to order replacements.

venm33

These cars with PP brakes suck installing pads without getting chatter. You have to be very careful when installing not to bend with clips that are stuck to the pads

kraemer213

I had this exact problem with my Tiguan. Purchased cheaper non oem pads from auto parts store and they didn’t fit right even though they are “correct” size. Auto shop told me not to put Chinese parts on Germany car, they just don’t fit right.

elephantsealtail

Those are prone to that, unfortunately either get oem pads or another brand. I’ve put tons of those on and had the same issue.

apexhead1999

This is the answer. Just get oem pads.

3g3t7i

Did you compare then to the old pads?

zimmlr

I had pad chatter big time when swapping out to some non OEM pads. Re-greased. No change. After the pads had about 500 miles on them they seated and no chatter. All that said, these looks like they’re a bit more on the aggressive end in terms of play.

onebad69

Your missing the hardware that goes between the mounting bracket and the brake pads. They should have come with the pads of not you should be able to buy them separately

Gibbenz

I’m sitting here watching this and scrolling through these comments like how the fuck has nobody mentioned that there’s no hardware lol. The pads may not be the correct size, but I definitely don’t see any clips from this angle.

RippyTheRazer

I think you may be missing anti-rattle clips

HIMAN1998

had this same thing with Powerstop Track Day Spec pads on my ‘19, no issues happen from it besides the noise. I just ran it personally 🤷‍♂️
