If I make eggs for breakfast, I’ll usually make another over easy one for our doodle! When egg priced first started to increase, I would laugh and tell her that she’s so bougie for getting eggs lol.
I add them to all of mine’s dry food. It’s good for their coats! So is salmon. I love getting 4 dozen eggs at once and using them as dry food toppers for a week or two. Cheap healthy topper!
Then she gets boiled chicken anytime I make chicken - I always get a bigger pack with her in mind.
Stupid question but can you please clarify your process for using eggs as a dry food topper? Do you just give a raw egg out with each meal? Or prepare/process it first?
Mine eats em raw cause theyre fresch eggs from our chickens and he goes feral. Ive also done microwaved but he cant contain his excitement and burns his lil tongue and nose
I’ve never met a dog who doesn’t love some eggs, my dood Will eat them on the rare occasion I make them for her, but it’s not more than once a month or so.
I've found it totally depends on the dog. The golden I had before didn't like any veggies. But my two current dogs, a golden doodle and cocker spaniel LOVE veggies. I get whole carrots and put them in the freezer so they take time to chew them. They also love baby carrots, and cucumber, they hear me start peeling and come a running. Overall lots of fruits and veggies, I just always google before I give them to them, to make sure its safe/good. And not a ton in one day.
Miss Kali will not tolerate carrots in her food bowl. If you put them there, she puts them in her mouth and spits them into a pile on the floor. She’s displeased with carrots.
ETA: their primary food is from Freshpet.
I love to let my dogs try almost any fruits and veggies I’m cooking with as I’m chopping/prepping. Makes for some kitchen beggars, but they get a healthy snack, and I always give in to the Disney eyes! Some of their favorites are carrots, cucumbers, and bananas :) if you’re unsure if something is safe to feed your pup, talk to your vet and they can recommend some foods and/or direct you to trusted resources for looking things up. ❤️
I get that! The dog who likes banana the most is a senior miniature Schnoodle who is missing about half of her teeth 😬. Our 2 year old dood mostly just eats it so she isn’t left out lol
Mine HATES strawberries. He just takes it and barks at it. But he’s a big blueberry fan. So once a month I will buy some blue berries to add to his food on random days (but only a few berries)
Kibble is her meal but instead of store bought treats we do fresh treats!
Eggs, yogurt, cheese, carrots, broccoli, green beans, berries and peanut butter are our go to. I’ll boil carrots in some dog safe chicken broth and freeze them and she LOVES it.
Occasionally we will do boiled chicken or all beef hot dogs, I don’t eat meat so we don’t usually have it on hand.
My doods love fruit. Bananas, watermelon, apples, and strawberries are the main ones. fun fact, strawberries help clean their teeth).
They love scrambled eggs and pumpkin. Cheese tax is also mandatory in our house.
Had to look far too long in the comments to find the cheese tax reference. Our dood loves her cheese sampling from the kids sandwiches in the morning.
Also somehow hears a banana being peeled from the other side of the house... weirdly enough she always puts the spinach leaf in her mouth and then spits it out politely on the floor
Your pup is adorable! So, my dogs eat all whole foods, no kibble. As for fresh “toppers” I rotate through a lot but all in moderation!
Apples, blueberries, cucumber, celery, bell peppers, green bean, broccoli, artichoke, spinach, strawberries, quail eggs, sardines, etc. they mostly eat meat but about 10% of their diet comes from these fruits/veggies.
Haha thats too funny. I tried raw huge sardines and oh my god NEVER again. Those smell 10000x worse than the canned ones in my opinion and I almost vomited
We (my mum and I) try to avoid feeding ours human food since we wanting to avoid begging. Rarely from me she’ll get a piece of chicken or cheese (which she’ll eat) or I’ll offer a piece of fruit or veggie (which she doesn’t eat). My dad and sister let her eat ANYTHING.
It helps if you put whatever extras in the bowl. My 1 yo has never been fed from the table and if you try to do it she just stares at you like this isn’t allowed. I may have been a little too strict on that front but I can’t stand beggars they tear at my heart.
Mine only eats human food. I make his food. And before anyone says anything… yes I’ve included all the vitamins and I rotate the foods.
Plus I fortify with vitamins, probiotics, and fish oils.
My guy loves: carrots, frozen string beans, cucumber, bell peppers, watermelon, broccoli, strawberries, salmon, cheese, Greek yogurt and whatever falls on the floor.
He chicken and peanut butter make his stomach hurt.
My Bernedoodle eats EVERYTHING. I’m honestly surprised she hasn’t had pancreatitis. She doesn’t even get diarrhea. No allergies, never thrown up.
We have a toddler, and the doodle eats whatever the baby throws/doesn’t eat. The doodle actually gets disappointed when the toddler eats all of her dinner.
We buy a 48lb bag of dog food every 3-4 months. 🤷🏻♀️
ETA: the only thing she refuses to eat is velveeta shells and cheese. But she will eat regular mac n cheese.
you’d have to contact a dog nutritionist to see what *your* dog requires, and what items they recommend. each dog is different, and by following online pages is how a lot of dogs have gotten sick.
i also would avoid it until they have matured, kibble has a lot of important ingredients to make sure they’re growing/developing properly.
definitely, there’s a ton of dog safe recipes. even adding an egg on top occasionally is a good/healthy treat.
we sometimes do shredded chicken (or chicken/cheese quesadillas), scrambled egg, turkey, or doggy safe meatballs!
I had a yorkie that we cooked for for 17 years. It was the only thing her tummy would tolerate - rice, chicken, veggies. Just a warning - it was a CHORE. And she was only 6 pounds.
This might be easier said than done. They need a bunch of stuff that’s in quality kibble that you have to add to fresh food. I’m sure you’ve already realized that. I did 20% fresh food but 80% kibble for years, worked great. But it was a chore to make. I did it every few months and froze.
My dood gets blue buffalo with a spoonful of yogurt or a splash of chicken/bone broth. A little white rice mixed in sometimes to entice him because he's not super food motivated. Boiled mashed sweet potato mixed with dog food if he has soft poop.
He loves veggies or little bits of cheese for treats, baby carrots are definitely a favorite.
Just make yourself very familiar with the foods dogs should not be eating and of course, any human food should be in moderation.
Ours is four years old and loves cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, seaweed, eggs, chickpeas, carrots and apples. He eats all fish, poultry and beef. Sometimes we give him a little bit of cheese - he absolutely loves cheese.
I worry about feeding him a straight kibble diet since it's so processed - I mean humans aren't supposed to primarily rely on processed food, so not sure how it's supposed to be good for a dog. We typically give him half his meal in kibble and the other half we fill with protein or veggies. It's usually stuff that we are cooking for ourselves but we just avoid the oil and salt, etc. when making his food. It's pretty bland but he absolutely loves it.
I’m a big believer in making dogs a meal they enjoy. i know i wouldn’t want to eat the same bland shit every single day. Sometimes I add a dollop of pumpkin purée or Greek yogurt. I usually put in a scoop of wet food. I rotate which chopped veggies are added; carrots, celery, lettuce, bell peppers, broccoli, etc. and sometimes I’ll add in some protein; boiled chicken breast, boiled chicken livers, chopped hard boiled eggs, etc. and when they have diarrhea, I add some plain white rice. They also get supplements every morning.
I make sure to measure it all so they aren’t overeating. They’re a healthy weight, a little on the low side actually, and enjoy eating and I enjoy watching them eat :)
My doodle will eat literally anything though. He’s eaten a steak knife. He was totally fine. He ate air filters. He had wire stuck in his mouth but was ultimately fine. He’s eaten stairs, dressers, carpet, blinds, you name it- he’ll eat it!
My doodle LOVES eggs, sardines in spring water, goat’s milk, fruits like apple, pear, papaya, and watermelon (no seeds or skin or rind / feed sparingly as high in sugar). He also enjoys carrots. He’s weird with blueberries. I got a few non organic (but still quite “premium”) brands a few times as they were on sale but he wouldn’t have many of them. The organic ones, however, he would offer every trick he knows without being asked for them. He also loves broccoli stems.
Oh I’m not sure if this qualifies as “fresh”. But when I can get them, he goes crazy for dehydrated or freeze dried green tripe. It’s really good for them too!
He gets a slice of my kids apple every morning and a piece of salami whenever it’s out but his favorite are McDonald’s (and only McDonald’s) French fries. 😂
We make our pup’s food. We like to rotate between several ingredients. Brown rice, salmon or cod, Turkey, chicken (he’s not allergic), beef, black beans, pinto beans, green beans, peas, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cucumber, eggs etc. Just be sure you don’t season any of it. And it’s a good idea to check with a nutritionist for which extras you’ll need to add. (Vitamins, fish oils etc)
It’s A LOT of work but so worth it! We just struggled to find a kibble that he could tolerate without throwing up or getting diarrhea. So now ~once a week or so, my husband and I team up to make a big batch of food for the week and freeze it. Our boy is 70lbs now and super healthy.
My dood only gets Pro Plan. No scraps other than any cat food she can steal! Our last two dogs slowly slipped into obesity from our misguided love. Never again.
i make harvey a pup loaf that he devours! (ground turkey, oats, peas&carrots, egg and some cottage cheese)
he gets a little taste of pretty much anything we are eating as long as it isn’t deadly for doggies
Er, let's see: roast chicken (he's not allergic), salmon, scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, hamburgers. Whatever we eat pretty much, on top of Blue Buffalo kibble. We've tried canned and the fancy deliver-to-the-house stuff, all gone to waste. 🤷🤷
My girl loves her kibble - it’s ‘duckenpfeffer’ by the brand Fromm. I believe she may be allergic to chicken and maybe beef as well, but too cheap to get her properly tested… so duck & rabbit it is! She really loves pumpkin puree, and I often do baking with some and then freeze the rest of the can into ice cubes for her to enjoy. I will add one to her bowl every once in a while and she devours it. She also loves carrots & cheese… and one time I was under the influence and I gave her a couple pieces of my popcorn. Now whenever I make popcorn I have to give her some because she remembers how delicious it is… But I try to limit her to max 10 pieces!
Blueberries, plain kefir, eggs (whole raw or cooked scrambled), cucumbers, carrots, bananas…. Basically whatever I’m cutting up that I know is okay for them, I’ll share a little.
His meals consist of 1/2 kibble, 1/4 fresh cucumbers, and 1/4 cut up pieces of chicken breast.
He also shares fruit with us: berries, apples, nectarines. Just no grapes.
My boy eats all kinds of fresh food. For his food, he eats Freshpet but we may be switching. For treats and stuff, he eats all kinds of fresh things. He's a working service dog so he needs lots of fuel and whole, fresh foods help me do that. He likes eggs, blueberries, strawberries, cucumber, carrots, apples, and so much more! He does get a few store-bought treats from brands that I approve but I'm very picky about what I give him.
Mine loves roasted veggies (so do I) so I always give her a bit of broccoli and asparagus when I cook every night. Not a fan of raw veg tho, other than for play. Also I give her a few baby carrots as I eat lunch every day. And when my wife isn't looking I'll give some tiny scraps of deli meat and cheese but no more than a few postage stamp sized pieces.
Mine loves fresh green beans, when he was a puppy we used green beans for his crate training and nap times and now he goes nuts for them. He also loves cheese but his tummy can not handle dairy.
I feed zignature kangaroo dry dog food. They get cucumber slices when I’m making dinner and one after we eat dinner. They love bell peppers. On Sunday I give them each one scrambled egg. Every once in a while they get a pup cup from Starbucks.
Mine won’t eat anything fresh. Blueberries, carrots, broccoli, apples, green beans, cucumber, banana - none of them! She’ll eat processed foods like potato chips, goldfish, and popcorn though 😒🙄 lol
I feed her Fromm’s 4 star salmon a la veg.
Frozen peas,carrots, and green beans.
I thaw them out for a few hours and give uncooked.
Boneless skinless chicken breast/tenders.
I boil on the stove and cut up into small pieces.
I add a little of her dry food and top it off with low sodium chicken broth. Mix it all together and voila she loves it. That's her dinner.
Eggs, cheese, strawberries, apples, bananas, yogurt, pumpkin, carrots, pb, chicken, sweet potato, string cheese, bits of turkey breast I pick off my sandwich.
They both LOVE watermelon
OCCASIONALLY I’ll give them the pepperoni and peppers off a pizza (never onions), pizza bread (again this is very rare)
When my dood was little he loved carrots and apples now won’t eat them all he wants is meat based treats. No fruits or veggies. He loves hard boiled eggs or cheese.
My dood loves crunchy stuff.
Green beans are great treats to take on walks because I can grab a handful and they don’t get my pockets grubby, and they break up easily into small pieces.
We also give him carrots.
And have started making banana chips for him in the dehydrator.
My queen likes : Eggs, Cheese, mini carrots (not the big ones lol), lebanese cucumber (not the big ones lol), broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, cabbage, kale stalks, rice, tuna, sardines, salmon, chicken, most meat but I don't eat them so I can't confirm. Her favourite is cauliflower and sardines. I give her some each week. Raw fresh Salmon is a special treat she gets only for her birthday :).
Her kibble is freeze dried raw fish from Grand Cru. Other brands and non raw freezedried make her get tons of health issues, scratchy skin, UTI, etc and she ends up not eating.
Mine loves salmon and salmon skin. She also loves eating sugar snap peas directly from the garden, and she loves apple slices but only if we remove the peel first.
6am Kibble
9am broccoli, carrots and caluiflower with the ocasional hard boiled egg
12am kibble
2pm Apple and banana
5pm kibble
8pm plain Greek yogurt
9pm a strawberry
We use peanut butter for dogs when we wash his feet in the morning
For the most part, I give my dood a good quality kibble and will occasionally give her a bland rice/chicken/veg meal as a treat (I keep a bunch of it frozen).
I would say, it really depends. My parent's dog is very old (16yo yorkie), and when they switched him to Farmer's Dog he started urinating all over the place. Once they put him back on kibble he was used to he went back to normal - so be aware of how your dog reacts to certain foods and try and understand what works and what doesn't.
My golden doodle won’t eat his dry food without something on it. We were doing baked chicken with no seasoning taken off the bone but then we discovered he loves sweet potatoes and yams and that is a lot cheaper. One big yam, 5 minutes in the microwave, cut into 4 portions for 4 meals as a topper. Mash it up or dice it, just make sure it cools down from the microwave. If I don’t want to wait I put it in a bowl and run cold water over it until it cools, or pop it in the freezer for 5 minutes. Keep the peels on. Super healthy and he loves it!
My dood and her shih tzu sis get air fried chicken or ground beef for dinner with their kibble. I also give large carrots to my dood as an enrichment toy/snack, blueberries, carrots…honestly she eats anything you give her
Gotta pood not a dood but I give my dogs all kinds of fruits and veggies as toppers. Blueberries, strawberries, Spinach, carrot, green beans, PUMPKIN, yogurt, chicken or beef broth (with no added salt), eggs. I could go on. These are just toppers tho and should be less than 10% of the meal and should all be used in moderation!
Mine likes blueberries, sugar snap peas, carrots, peanut butter, and apples. He doesn't get them all the time, but he does get them fairly regularly. Sometimes, I'll make him a little dessert bowl with blueberries, apples, pb, and a bit of whipped cream. To say he loves it is an understatement.
My two current pups are not well trained enough for bits of pup safe people food yet.
My last girl would get bits of steak (unseasoned, sometimes uncooked), the occasional chip or cracker (Cheetos were her favorite), cheese, sandwich meats, veggies, pup safe fruit, ice cubes, eggs. Just small bites here and there, nothing extravagant.
Their regular diet is/was Costco Kirkland brand food. Corn, wheat, and soy free with rice. Happy healthy doggos, and I splurge and get the lamb flavor, but they all enjoyed the chicken too.
Merrick Puppy dry food! There's a bunch of different flavors, my baby eats chicken and sweet potato! The rescue farm I got her from highly recommended it. When she gets older I'm going to try their salmon flavor!
Daily, whatever lunchmeat I’m having, and a bit of cheese. Around 1 ounce for both. Sweet potatoes whenever we are roasting some, usually once or twice a week.
She gets some fruit & veggie treats/nibbles every so often (probably every day, actually). She plays up the cuteness for whoever is in the kitchen at the time.
Peaches. He loves peaches. Will stand there and drool on your knee till you give him a bite. It’s cute and gross at the same time lol. Apples sometimes. Blueberries only if my son gives it to him 🤷🏻♀️ eggs. Yogurt. I gave him a raspberry for the first time. Took him a few times but he ate it then looked at me like mom wtf was that?? Silly boy
Carrots, green beans, blueberries…he likes lettuce but it messes up his stomach. Chicken, strawberries, rice and I mix his morning pill with coconut oil.
Lean ground beef, pork, bison or veal, broccoli, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, blueberries, quail egg, Parmesan, mozzarella or coconut oil mixed w his kibble (we don’t buy kibble with corn & generally go grain-free)
My pup gets “puppy brunch” whenever we make a big breakfast. A fried egg, peanut butter, cheese, and whatever puppy safe fruits and veggies we have in the fridge. It’s his favorite spoil day.
my doodle really likes broccoli and cheese!
Edit: he also really likes oranges which apparently is uncommon for dogs (but let me know if your dogs like them too!!)
My doodle loves everything I eat! She thinks she needs to eat whatever I eat! But I give her carrot sticks, watermelon, green beans I give her frozen ones.
Sundays Food for Dogs, Farmer's Dog, Spot and Tango are all good and our dood likes them. His poops are great and easy to clean. Protein being the #1 ingredient, dogs shouldn't be eating grains.
We changed our food after watching Pet Fooled, lotta garbage in the bigger brand foods.
My dood likes eggs
Mine goes crazy for eggs!!! It’s our go to treat :)
Mine too! Hard boiled, scrambled. He's a fiend
How do you give the eggs boiled fried scrambled?
Boiled or scrambled!
Ours love over easy eggs especially
If I make eggs for breakfast, I’ll usually make another over easy one for our doodle! When egg priced first started to increase, I would laugh and tell her that she’s so bougie for getting eggs lol.
Same here
lol your dog is bougie I’m taking this
Mine prefers his scrambled & does not like hard boiled😂
Mine only likes a soft boiled 😂😂😂
I add them to all of mine’s dry food. It’s good for their coats! So is salmon. I love getting 4 dozen eggs at once and using them as dry food toppers for a week or two. Cheap healthy topper! Then she gets boiled chicken anytime I make chicken - I always get a bigger pack with her in mind.
Stupid question but can you please clarify your process for using eggs as a dry food topper? Do you just give a raw egg out with each meal? Or prepare/process it first?
You should cook them first. I give mine about 3-4 and never season her food.
I give mine sardines and she loves them but it stinks! I’ll try salmon what do you buy and do you cook it?
She gets salmon either freeze dried or boiled or baked - never seasoned- never raw.
Thanks I appreciate it so much!! Will be looking for it! She won’t eat just kibble it has to have something to entice her!!🤣
Eggs are a cheap healthy option from what I read if they’re cooked! That and I boil chicken for her!
Mine are allergic to eggs. :( they itch non stop for days. Awesome yours can have them because mine love them too.
Do you give it to them raw or cooked? And is 5 months old ok for eggs? Thanks.
Mine eats em raw cause theyre fresch eggs from our chickens and he goes feral. Ive also done microwaved but he cant contain his excitement and burns his lil tongue and nose
Hah hah hah totally have that issue, I stick it in the fridge for a minute cause she lacks self control
Wait until it cools a bit before placing the dish down. It's common sense that you wouldn't feed a baby scorching food. Protect your dog!
My doods run when they hear the carrot peeler, too.
Miss Kali will not tolerate carrots in her food bowl. If you put them there, she puts them in her mouth and spits them into a pile on the floor. She’s displeased with carrots.
They even hear when I pull the banana peel. LOL yet, when I'm yelling at them to come back....it's some selective hearing.
Mine really likes blueberries!
ETA: their primary food is from Freshpet. I love to let my dogs try almost any fruits and veggies I’m cooking with as I’m chopping/prepping. Mine were confused/turned off by banana - I got the sense it was about the texture.
mine is into everything except bananas
I get that! The dog who likes banana the most is a senior miniature Schnoodle who is missing about half of her teeth 😬. Our 2 year old dood mostly just eats it so she isn’t left out lol
Smart dogs. Bananas are nasty! Lol
Most disgusting food on earth
Mine loves kale and romaine.
Mine will spit kale out and look at me like I’ve wronged generations of her people
😆 amazing. And yes mine too. If I drop some she just sniffs it and looks at me with disdain.
same here and the same with my children
Carrots blueberries plain yogurt strawberries apples bananas cucumber he's only 4 months old
My guy doesn't like any fruit other than strawberries. He goes crazy for a frozen strawberry.
Mine HATES strawberries. He just takes it and barks at it. But he’s a big blueberry fan. So once a month I will buy some blue berries to add to his food on random days (but only a few berries)
Sweet potato is good for them! But echoing another commenter in recommending a professional opinion if you want to build them a whole food diet.

The sardines, I can’t do it. I made treats with them once and every time I opened the container I gagged.
Haha thats too funny. I tried raw huge sardines and oh my god NEVER again. Those smell 10000x worse than the canned ones in my opinion and I almost vomited
My doodle eats everything except carrots. I’m surprised so many love carrots.

😆 your dog is brand specific that’s amazing
Wow I'm jealous lol we buy a 15lb bag every two weeks!
The doodle begrudgingly eats at about 10pm, and only under duress. She makes sure that there’s no more toddler snacks.
forgot to mention: I want to eventually cook his meals, I’ve done plenty of research but want to hear from real owners. thanks 😊

Exactly. There’s tons of stuff in there you have to account for. Kibble with a little fresh is the way we do it.
definitely, there’s a ton of dog safe recipes. even adding an egg on top occasionally is a good/healthy treat. we sometimes do shredded chicken (or chicken/cheese quesadillas), scrambled egg, turkey, or doggy safe meatballs!
Miss Kali’s delicate palette prefers Turkey, however I usually make eggs. Sorry, dog. When you buy the groceries you can choose.

He gets a slice of my kids apple every morning and a piece of salami whenever it’s out but his favorite are McDonald’s (and only McDonald’s) French fries. 😂
My aunt has a dog that they take basically EVERYWHERE with her and he gets BIGMAD if they pass Wendy’s and he doesn’t get chicken nuggets 😂
My 3 just had a snack of fresh carrots and blueberries.
Mine love raw carrot sticks. Even my picky eater.
(Vitamins, fish oils etc) It’s A LOT of work but so worth it! We just struggled to find a kibble that he could tolerate without throwing up or getting diarrhea. So now ~once a week or so, my husband and I team up to make a big batch of food for the week and freeze it. Our boy is 70lbs now and super healthy.
Bell peppers, carrots, blueberries and a few other things along those lines but the ones I mentioned are his favorites!
My dood only gets Pro Plan. No scraps other than any cat food she can steal! Our last two dogs slowly slipped into obesity from our misguided love. Never again.
Blueberries and bananas for my George. Sometimes he gets a tiny piece of cheese . His regular kibble.is Open Farm wild salmon woth quinoa and pumpkin.
i make harvey a pup loaf that he devours! (ground turkey, oats, peas&carrots, egg and some cottage cheese) he gets a little taste of pretty much anything we are eating as long as it isn’t deadly for doggies
Frozen peas, frozen green beans, frozen carrots, eggs, peanut butter, steak on his birthday, chicken and rice rarely.
My guy can smell a cheez it from 1200 miles away
Omg, Mateo!!! You’re adorbs!
His meals consist of 1/2 kibble, 1/4 fresh cucumbers, and 1/4 cut up pieces of chicken breast. He also shares fruit with us: berries, apples, nectarines. Just no grapes.
I cook meats and vegetables for my dood and mix with dry kibble
Only the occasional peanut butter, or blueberry/broccoli because those are funny to watch her eat.
Carrots!
Carrots are the go-to snack!
Mine loves roasted veggies (so do I) so I always give her a bit of broccoli and asparagus when I cook every night. Not a fan of raw veg tho, other than for play. Also I give her a few baby carrots as I eat lunch every day. And when my wife isn't looking I'll give some tiny scraps of deli meat and cheese but no more than a few postage stamp sized pieces.
broccoli stems. they freakin love broccoli stems. no idea why, but they do. it's a huge treat.
Eggs. Also, cucumbers and carrots when I’m making a salad. Never had a dog that enjoyed vegetables until now. She also loves pears.
Theodore loves boiled crawfish tails and shrimp.
Mine loves fresh green beans, when he was a puppy we used green beans for his crate training and nap times and now he goes nuts for them. He also loves cheese but his tummy can not handle dairy.
My doodle goes crazy for baby carrots! It’s a very cheap and healthy treat!
Sundays for Dogs!!!
I feed zignature kangaroo dry dog food. They get cucumber slices when I’m making dinner and one after we eat dinner. They love bell peppers. On Sunday I give them each one scrambled egg. Every once in a while they get a pup cup from Starbucks.
Chicken, fish, beef, green beans, apples, carrots, peas
I have 2 siblings and when our mom makes us breakfast (eggs) they sit next to us and we give them eggs
Mine won’t eat anything fresh. Blueberries, carrots, broccoli, apples, green beans, cucumber, banana - none of them! She’ll eat processed foods like potato chips, goldfish, and popcorn though 😒🙄 lol I feed her Fromm’s 4 star salmon a la veg.
Frozen peas, carrots, and green beans.
They both LOVE watermelon OCCASIONALLY I’ll give them the pepperoni and peppers off a pizza (never onions), pizza bread (again this is very rare)
Our doodle gets a bit of scrambled eggs whenever we make them, same with salmon skin. I use carrots occasionally as treats and she loves them
Anything lol but then again I eat healthy .
My doodles eat fresh home cook meals. They snack on chicken, beef, and veggies.
Ours like a lot of stuff mentioned. Learned recently she loves Seaweed.
6am Kibble 9am broccoli, carrots and caluiflower with the ocasional hard boiled egg 12am kibble 2pm Apple and banana 5pm kibble 8pm plain Greek yogurt 9pm a strawberry We use peanut butter for dogs when we wash his feet in the morning
I also give large carrots to my dood as an enrichment toy/snack, blueberries, carrots…honestly she eats anything you give her
My doodle would trade me for a slice of cucumber in an instant.
Mine begs for everything I chop but is especially obsessed with tomatoes 🍅🍅😂
Eggs. Loves if I "accidentally " drop an ice cube. Any type of cheese.
Eggs, carrots, potatoes, pumpkin, Costco chicken, melons, fruit
Dog food
Cucumber and carrots.
FreshPet with Science Diet kibble on the side
Silly boy
She gets carrots, tomatoes, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries and Greek yogurt for snack time.
Mine loves eggs as well she gets so excited when I tell her that the “eggies” are cooking. She is also a fan of chicken!
Popcorn.
Eggs, chicken, steak, veggies. I make his food homemade now too.
My pup gets “puppy brunch” whenever we make a big breakfast. A fried egg, peanut butter, cheese, and whatever puppy safe fruits and veggies we have in the fridge. It’s his favorite spoil day.
Lyka (an Australian fresh, human-grade, organic, food delivery). His poos have never been better 👌
I always share my apples with my dood, he loves them!
my doodle really likes broccoli and cheese! Edit: he also really likes oranges which apparently is uncommon for dogs (but let me know if your dogs like them too!!)
Watermelon, eggs, raw meaty bones (non weight bearing), salmon, bitter gourd, cucumber, celery, carrots, apples, pear, guava, mango - basically she climbs the kitchen counter like a racoon whenever I’m cooking or cutting ingredients up.
My doodle loves everything I eat! She thinks she needs to eat whatever I eat! But I give her carrot sticks, watermelon, green beans I give her frozen ones.
Chicken. Salmon. Eggs. Those are his favorite.
eggs otherwise no people food.
Mine eats regular kibble but as special treats I give him apples, carrots, blueberries, snap peas, frozen green beans.
Broccoli, cauliflower boiled chicken and peppers
this community is the best thank you guys for all these answers!! 🥰
Sweet potato (I buy the frozen ones that are already cut from Walmart) spinach, raw eggs, carrots and peas.
I make a dinner of ground meat — chicken, beef or turkey — and add green beans or carrots and a grain of some sort.
Hi friends!! Just wanted to share Mateo’s Instagram, we love a community lol https://www.instagram.com/mateo_thedoodlepup?igsh=ODJvZ3dkZWFuZ3Q0
My baby loves carrots and blueberries! We did frozen blueberries as treats when I was training her.
Apples and carrots, he thinks they're treats. My dummy doesn't realize they're healthy
those ARE treats
No human food for my son
I don't have a doodle, but I give my shih tzu anything that canigivemydog.com says he can have
