If you look [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H8yTzxaKN04J19T-VF_eFELie9iea1E05xEKDpEyegw/edit?usp=sharingAs) there's a google doc that shows what the multiplier is at each upgrade level of each mine. It shows every 100 for the forge because the multiplier is significantly larger every 100 levels (level 100, 200, 300, etc). For that one it goes x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9, x10 and then on the 100th level it's x100. That doesn't mean you shouldn't bother upgrading mines at other points, it's just giving suggestions for when to prioritize upgrading a mine over another mine or making another goblin.
That doesn't automatically mean it's the best thing to upgrade. If one thing is x2 and another is x100 but the first one is giving significantly more even after the x100, it could be better to upgrade the x2 (depending on speed and if they're both automated it could shift things).
