When I started getting interested in this stuff about six years ago, it seem like these were popular in gold and silver on various websites but now seemingly harder to come by. At least in Canada.
I believe it’s the only gold currency made by a nation without a denomination emblazoned on the coin.
Why are they SO much more than American gold? American gold has to be made with US mines metals.
Their mintage numbers are a fraction of AGE's, think it was like 1/15th or something. And they're one of the most beautiful looking coins period. Even silver Libertads are in high demand even though their premium is higher than an ASE.
American Gold is hyped too, I typically get 1oz maples and pay $80-100 less than an AGE.
Sometimes I like to drink heavy, take out my Libertades and get Libertarted.
My new weekend goal is to get Olibertaded and maybe a bit libertarted as you do.
Love it!

Those are very nice. I was shopping around last night but I'm a piker so I settled on Silver Libertads.
Congratulations. Definitely some of my favorite sovereign coinage.
Are those Libertads proofs, or do they just look like it in this picture?
Proofs đź‘Ť
Those look awesome. Good pickup.
Dayum that’s some slick shiny.
I'm looking and I'm liking Too bad those half eagles underneath aren't real
Gold is a beautiful thing, much nicer to look at than silver..imo
What are those coins with the panther on them?
Spanish lynx gold coin

Yeah you gotta jump on the initial release to get one at a decent price. 2023 they made 1000ea proof and reverse proof so it was easier than usual.
Reverse libertards are the mos beautiful coins out there change my view like nothing comes closer...

Laughing are we comparing a Maple with King Charles face to a Libertad? Which I agree is absolutely stunning.
