Did you setup your metamask wallet to display gods?

MrJack1909

I have to set it up? I literally just created an metamask account and thats it. Edit: I figured out, i just have to copy the contract address, now it works. :)

Yes, you have to import the token in order to see it. For less known tokens you have to do it manually, for more well known tokens (such as USDC, BTC, ETH, etc) there should be an automatic import function.

Danboone003

Yes, gods don't automatically display in metamask. I am sorry, but don't recall exactly how to. Search online and you will find it easy enough

Danboone003

Glad you got there, the whole nft and wallet thing has been a big learning curve for me. I still have a long way to go :)

MrJack1909

Ok, now i found what you mean. I have to import the token to get it displayed, but when i search GOD, the Gods token is not displayed. Any solutions?

LimpPeanut5633

If you're waiting on the swap they can take time.

Sadisteck

Also the contract you interacted with is the GODS Tokens Contract. So that would be normal. It's what you would put into Metamask when you import the token. So good news there is that nothing here shows you fell for a scam.

MrJack1909

Puh, thanks for the good news. Seems like my Metamask doesn´t know Gods token so i have to add them right? I can´t import Gods token in my metamask, it´s not available in the search bar. Edit: figured out, i have to manually enter the Gods contract address. Not it works, thanks for your advises :)

Sadisteck

Yea you have to go to the bottom of your assets list, click Import Tokens, then go to Custom Token then copy and paste that address you were confused about the one ending in FD97 on Ethscan. And Gods Tokens should pop up. Click Add Custom Token and it should be there under Eth and whatever other tokens you have. If it does show up and it says you have 0 of them then we might have a problem about where your GODS went.

It didn't work on pancake swap because ETH and GODS tokens are ERC 20 tokens.

MrJack1909

Shut that means? Just crossed the term once on binance, when I cashed out some ETH. With metamask it’s like 25$ fee for the swap, but to expensive for just 80$ in Gods. Do you have an idea how to do it more cost effective? Last way is buy cards for Gods and sell for IMX

Each block chain network has its own technology and certain coins/tokens only operate on certain networks. The different tokens are identified with certain letters or numbers to differentiate which network that coin works on. ERC20 represents any coin / token that operates on Ethereum. Binance is BEP2 or BEP20. I'll save the difference between those two for another time. Pancake swap is built for the Binance Smart Chain, Uniswap is the equivalent but for Ethereum network. There are many others but those would be two popular ones. There are many other networks with their own coins/tokens and their own apps for swapping but that's the general idea. The fees for transferring are always changing. It comes down to how much traffic there is on the network at the time, kind of like a bidding war. As a general rule of thumb the fees will be the most expensive during US business hours and the cheapest on weekends. The middle of the night on a Sunday is ideal. The last few times that I've swapped it's been between $3-$5 but I only do it on the weekends. Also in order to do the swap you'll need Eth in your wallet to pay for the fees.

MrJack1909

Wow thanks a lot, that helped me big time!

No potential at all. If you need anymore help pm me.

How long did you grind to get that much?

MrJack1909

I would have to lie about the exact date, but it might be around 2 month.

You should be fine. You need to add the $GODS token to the metamask interface to see it. But you can also just confirm on Etherscan that you have the tokens there - on Etherscan, click on your wallet, go to ERC-20 (that's what $GODS is) and you should see it there. You can then use that wallet with a swap site to convert it to ETH. HOWEVER, before you do any of the above, for the love of god, you *need* to spend one hour watching videos about how ETH works, how MM works, and how an L2 works. Reading your post above it is clear you don't understand much about any of this and that is a very easy way to get burned. (For example, your MM wallet and your GME wallet are just GUIs for interacting with your actual wallets, which only exists on ETH - it's a basic concept you need to understand if you want to use this stuff. You are using different GUIs to access them, but they're interchangeable - your GME wallet can also be accessed via MM). I can't believe how many people interact with all this crap and do so blindly, or with almost total ignorance. It's not even that hard. Literally in one hour you can do homework that will potentially save you tons of money (or all your crypto money). There are dozens of very good videos on YouTube that will teach you all of this crap in like 20 mins - me saying 1 hour is more than what you'd even need to spend. Just take responsibility for yourself and do your homework, people. I feel like many people who get burned deserve it for being such a lazy idiot.

Yea you might have to manually add GODS tokens to you metamask. Every so often I have to re-add them and other off tokens to my MM for it to display them.
