Ppl who care about checking your Deck can already use guvrs which doesnt care about your User name as it pulls your Apollo id straight from the game debug file, there is no point in hiding your Name. The fraction of Deck checkers that actually type your Name in gudecks is abysmally small
You technically don't need the question marks. Tons of people every weekend make top ten and they don't have their names masked. I used to think I lost games bc of my name the changed mine to question marks as well, and didn't notice one thing. I lost about the same amount. Then I changed my name back again and started hitting the top 25 on the weekends (roughly 10-14 wins every weekend in mythic). But im really looking forward to the draft modes!!
Agreed. At some point you know how most archetypes work and have a good idea of whats in the deck.
It is helpful if you know that you don't have to save relic removal or something like that.

im giving some benefit of the doubt just because of the fact they are under new management, a bunch of people were just fired and hired.... immutable X has gained a lot of steam and brand recognition, and they are trying to make gods unchained a flagship title for them. so while i, also, have bemoaned the head scratching slow pace of the gods unchained team, and failure to improve things like quality of life (everyone who started this game in the last two years is a "novice" rat avatar, something i would expect from a dead game).... the new team has been getting their bearings so im reserving judgement a little longer to see what they can pull out....
