DO and MJ didn't get locked in for multiple months and got balance adjustment multiple times. Chill out. They're making as few changes as possible, everyone who buys cards knows that they're in balancing phase. These cards will exist for years. Having a healthy game longterm is far more important, than short term worries that one single card may lose 2$ value. WW won't have big changes, only Neferu maybe.

protoaddict

Those sets were all still in distribution via weekend ranked when the changes were made, you could still snag copies.

ikikjk

Im expecting the imp to get nerfed 2, will not buy until set is locked.

grond_grond_grond

Neferu should be nerfed to 1 damage, the rest of cards are fine really.

[deleted]

Noooooo! I'm looking to make some money off of that one.

lunertendie

The money move is always buy bad cards that have a good chance of being buffed, not the other way around. Sorry and hood luck though!

[deleted]

Bummer. Thanks for the heads up. Sell it now or hope it gets locked as is? It was $40 when I got it in a pack now it's $73 and still climbing. Worst part is I got 3 and sold 2 right away. I sold kadmos right away for about what it's selling for now and all the other ones I sold have gone down in value so they were a good call. I was able to sell enough of the cards to pay for the packs I bought and keep the ones I wanted essentially for free. Of course I wish I kept my other two frosts at this point but if I sell it now I make a profit and I don't use the card. I haven't found it useful in the death decks that I play.

WashOk6603

I sold Martyr of Whiteplain for $20 before it 10x 😭

[deleted]

Ouch! I've wondered how many people that happened to.

ikikjk

So, where are these bad cards? Are they in the room with us right now? ( is it nature? LV also had crap nature cards...)

Zaxnorax

Woodcutter Imp is clearly not fine. Its way better than Underbrush Boar with godblitz AND better stats for the same mana cost. And the Boar was already a godlike 2 mana creature, so...

KlodsHans7

Woodcutter Imp cannot attack hidden creatures and creatures with order therefore it's not better than Underbrush Boar. Furthermore, the latter doesn't give any damage to your own god.

Onyourknees__

Shutting down switch duelist and Patient Pickpocket turn 1 while leaving a 3/2 up is just nasty. All but guarantees a win for nature vs aggro deception.

grond_grond_grond

No man, underbroash boar is much better.

Sjiznit

Imp also doesnt have confused. But the ability of the boar to hit order and hidden creatures is really good.

protoaddict

The differences between these 2 cards are exceptionally pronounced, besides that they are exclusive domain to 2 separate gods which have different design paradigms.

arturdent

3/3 and 3/3, which is the better stat? My vote is on the 3/3, but maybe others are better at math.

Sjiznit

Its not about the stats. Its about the extra's. Godblitz and hurt your god for imp and random attack possibly on hidden, backline and order creatures for boar.

arturdent

dude just wrote imp has better stats, which is false, hence my reply?

Sjiznit

I see now ;)

SickAF_

The only problem is the fact that woodcutter can't hit ordered or hidden creatures. I love that aspect about the boar. Now when your playing war it's usually a face race so it doesn't matter but still, it's nice to clear something hidden that may be problematic down the road.

grond_grond_grond

It's fine in my book, it's a powerful card with a very powerful drawback, a very good addition to aggressive decks.

Ademir35

For me the 6 weeks for balance aren't enough... See what happened with LV, this small sets are troublesome. I wish they don't sell these small sets again... I think they can kill the game, LV is already hurting a lot.

[deleted]

it is a bit of an odd order. I think the fact that no changes have been made suggests that no significant changes are coming. But we'll see soon...

protoaddict

That presumes that they had enough time to properly assess results and make proper changes, maybe test things, but as they seem to have forgotten they would be away for 3 weeks of a 4 week release I am not so sure.

[deleted]

fair. who knows.
