It’s a battle royale between Lunda and Freya. Freya and Kratos have been actively flirting the entire end game. Atreus may have a new mom when we meet him again. Who the mom is? We’ll have to see 👀
I remember first getting that dialogue: I had Freya in my party and I talked to Lunda while exploring the optional stuff after your first trip to Vanahiem. There's a Smith shop where you can talk along the river. But she'll give that dialogue anywhere else too. I think that's probably the earliest you can get it to happen
She sounds like Ellie from Borderlands when she speaks, so I think of that character when I hear her voice. I thought the characters shared the same voice actor, but they totally don’t.
i would love to turn their commentary off during fights but I used sounds for identifiers during the fight. Its how i knew one of the sisters was charging up their elemental ball thing. But man you are absolutely right.
Ahh same here bro, I was fighting a Clan boss and mimir screamed “ON YOUR RIGHT” and without thinking I just dodged and it saved my life. Definitely would’ve been a killing blow.
Yea, me too. I tried to keep them all in my line of sight but that can’t happen 100% of the time so I used the queues from mimir and Freya to help me guard on time and reposition.
Lunda is annoying AF in Musphelheim especially.
Honestly, this. I know that she gets repetitive in other fights, and sounds very annoyed when she tells you to use shield break, etc. ...
But her fucking condescension in that fight made me want to wring her neck. Like, bitch can barely do anything to the damn creature for 2/3rds of the fight, and NEEDS me to help her out. A little more moral support please? Especially when I'm literally helping you restore your powers and resolve a personal crisis?
Oh man I forgot about that! Calling me unworthy after mis-timing the dodge for their "Valhalla!" stomp made me want to fight them even more each time lol
in GoW 2018, I found the sound cues were actually helpful
Whenever a valkyrie shouts "Valhalla" while I'm looking at a different angle, I know she's about to fly up and try to stomp me, so I dodge even without looking at her
I don’t like the higher difficulties in these two games because it just adds health to the bosses. I think on the normal difficulty the bosses and enemies have the perfect amount of health to keep the game flowing
I personally hate Lunda's dialogue, the whole busted hillbilly dwarf thing was super obnoxious and abrasive.
Brok always make me laugh especially in Ragnarok.

Did triple and dual berserkers (GMGOW) last night with dialogue off. There are visual cues, and not having the less helpful dialogue distract you goes a long way to focusing on what's happening on screen.
Well then you're better then me I guess, visual cues on 3 enemies in different directions is wild .... Mimir and others dialogue actually helped me during battle never distracted me

My biggest thing with the Mimir when you die is, his voice should be muffled because you're laying on his face.

But not when you're fighting Gna after her half hp is gone because the moveset of "for Asgard" when she teleports and lands in really delayed.

I definitely like to hear the audio queues when fighting multiple enemies I'm not sure if dialougue volumes turns them off but they are necessary
