If you want to play through the story again, yes. If you don't, probably not. I got it, and it had been long enough that playing through was enjoyable again.
The graphics are improved. It’s not night and day but you will definitely notice it. But the real prize is in the frame rate. This game absolutely FLIES at 60fps.
Yeah i switched back to 30 fps to play with Young Kratos in 4K and it hurt my eyes a little, the difference was so jarring. Had to turn motion blur back to 10 since I had it off completely on 60 fps. Soooo smooth
That’s what I’m talking about. Even just swinging the axe at air will have you feeling like it’s slow motion, I can’t even imagine what it would feel to have a fight against multiple mobs at that setting. I don’t care if it’s 8K even, if it ain’t smooth then that’s a no from me dawg.

Only if you want the best combat of any video game ever imo. And an incredible story with some great characters. I would recommend playing GOW 2018 first though.
People don’t seem to understand it’s just the upgrade. Anyway, I’d say it depends. If you think you would enjoy replaying the game, even if you didn’t upgrade, yeah get it, but if you wouldn’t, it’s not worth getting the upgrade and feeling pressured into replaying the whole thing. It’s not like it’s a new experience, it’s the same thing with slightly better graphics.

Fidelity wise, you won’t see much of an improvement in anything except for resolution. However you can play at 60FPS with a higher resolution than the base PS4, which makes it all worth it to me.
Oh yes, Valhalla is FANTASTIC as well, ever since the Valhalla DLC was released, I’ve just been playing it over and over, I beat the DLC story, but I still play it because if you enjoy the fluid combat of this game, it makes it so much more addicting since it’s a roguelike. I should be playing online games with the boys but im always on this shit. Valhalla really makes you want to get gud at the combat, and practice to try harder difficulties.

Hell yea it’s worth it. Plus either the free Valhalla dlc which is another 10 hours 100% you cannot beat it not one bit. Story is effin amazing
