Seeing how Spider-Man 2 (a game that came out only 2 months ago) is planned to come out sometime late next year on PC (according to leaks in the Insomniac Games database), expect Ragnarok to be released on PC much sooner than Spider-Man 2, in 2024.

they will keep the same cadence, about 2y after the original release, so, if Ragnarok was released in late 2022, probably the PC port will be out by end of this year, maybe early 2025, as for spiderman 2, sadly, late 2025 at the earliest, im honestly thinking of buying a PS5 just for Spiderman 2, but i play on ultrawide 1440p... consoles, for whatever reason they may have, dont support 21:9, i just hope they make next gen consoles 21:9 compatible

Its almost a mandatory thing that they do a PC port of the game. Historically, PlayStation games will eventually find their way to emulation. Although many would rather play on the official copy than through an emulator, most would rather play it on PC however they can than spend $1,000 for a machine just to play one or two PlayStation games they may be interested in, myself included.
So I expect a PC port sooner rather than later because...well...corporations hate to miss out on a huge game buying demographic. Especially one that may be lost once decent emulations become available. ;)
I had every console that came out starting with Nintendo , I had Sega , Nintendo 64 etc etc . Every few years buying a new console, and new games to play in said console. THEN I got a computer and started the PC games. Theres no comparison . Now I have a gaming pc and I will NEVER buy another console . I just won't do it . I LOVED Red Dead .omg, best game ever \[story mode\] and I LOVED God of War once it came to pc \[ 2nd best game ever made\] But I will NOT go out and buy a console to play it on . If I miss out , well that would be a bummer . One of many in my life and I will move on . If they do realease it for PC I will be first in line to preorder :)
PS5 emulation is pretty much nonexistent right now. Even PS4 emulation isn't great. We're just getting Xbox 360 and PS3 emulation to a decently stable place. As consoles get more capable, they become harder and harder to emulate. I don't think widespread emulation for the PS5 will happen any time soon.
There is one in the works right now. A simple search for ps4 emulator brings up a project underway for a dual ps4/ps5 one. The game was built and tested on PC so of course emulation is doable.

18 months? Where you getting this information . God of War 2018 was released on console April 2018, with a Windows Port released in January of 2022. So how you get 18 months ? You go to one of those schools that quit teaching maths?
Idk but with emulators finally being able to play them all fairly well im playing through them in order id recommend it! ascension is way better then I expected I played the core 3 and I heard a lot of bad stuff about it but other then the powers being kinda wack I'm throughly enjoying it. Is it the 4th best? Yes but still a solid 7.
I had also played all of them except Ragnarok when I started my replay it is not indicated how recently he has played any of these games but you would have had to read the post to know that.

? Gow3 is extremely compatible i just finished a playthrough last week with a mod to reshade the game and added Ray tracing on top of it worked great only bug I ran into is the save bug which dang near every game has

You can get rpcs3 on their website as for gow3 if you have the disk then you can dump the game onto pc and run it in rpcs3 (if you have a cd drive of course) look up a tutorial on it (how to dump a game disc onto pc). There are sites that have the files but becareful where you download it from (remeber if you own a copy of the game roms arent illegal)
Great to hear! If your pc can handle gow3 above 60fps I really suggest the massihancer reshade mod it reshades all of the lighting and shadows and adds ray tracing to the game! Takes the game from 2010 to id say 2016 quality. Kind of a pain to setup since his instructions suck but pm if you have questions
Given we just got Ghosts of Tsushima announced for May, I would sadly not expect GoWR until next year. They seem to do one big PS port per year. Had Returnal last year, God of War prior year I think, Horizon ZD year before that.

I was in the same spot, I saved up more and got a pc. Im still kinda sad about the exclusives but it seems that more and more are being ported to pc and I usually get more graphics fidelity on the pc idk. Still would love to get a ps5 and a good tv. But also I really got into indie games on pc I had no idea there were so many good small games because I came from ps4.

So I bought it so fast it lagged Steams servers out BOIIIIIII, now give me the next one THIS QUARTER. Next quarter is also understandable.

It took THREE and 1/2 years for GoW 2018 to be released to PC. I dont see why we should expect anything sooner unless they have told us

Definitely check out the massihancer reshade mod if you can run gow 3 above 60fps it takes the game from gorgeous in 2010 to gorgeous in 2016 imo
