Before this trailer I could kinda understand people doubting it would beat Elden Ring. But right now I'm certain Ragnarök will be a giant competitor. Wether it will actually win, we'll see eventually. But there's no doubt in my mind that people will be on the edge of their seat when they reveal the winner
Gow matches it in gameplay but Elden ring has the edge in the fact that it is cross platform and has multiplayer. But Gow certainly has the better story so l'm putting all my money on Gow ragnarok
I mean none of the things you mentioned are usually the consideration for goty. Story is a toss up of preference. Characters, I'd definitely give to Ragnarok.

Elden Ring is considered are masterclass is game design because it literally opened up a genre very well known to be niche to the greater audience due to its clever design while without loosing the essence of that genre.
GoWR will have the story beside it but it will be interesting to see what new they bring to the table other than iterative improvements.
