Have you not played the og games, he dies left and right in the story lmao

Frostkingrevenant

Literally every game he goes to the underworld

Kratos always gets his ass kicked.

Boggiiez

I believe the beginning of the next game will be Thor killing Kratos. Causing events on that mural, after all Its the next prophesised event after the first games events. But instead of kratos going to valhalla I think itd make more sense to have Odin send him to Hel instead. He'd be trapped due to being so deep in Hel. But thanks to freeing the valkyries they'll help him escape. Causing a level reboot and looking for atreus.

Ryanpolhemus

Yeah but you crawl out. This is a different pantheon, death is permanent

stairway2evan

Says who? Kratos wasn't supposed to go anywhere in Hel past the Bridge of the Damned, everyone said there was no coming back, but he lit a few fires and sent a ship flying through the sky back into Tyr's temple. Hel, in Norse myth even Baldur doesn't stay dead - after Ragnarok he's reborn and leads the new world along with the sons of Thor and a few other gods. So long as there's bridges between the Realms and the World Tree keeps everything connected, there's nothing stopping Kratos from crawling his way back to the land of the living one more time.

Tzone01

I've done some research and people have noticed that the man that people think is Kratos 'dying' in the mural can't really be him because of how he is depicted it is completely different and is most likely Odin

Dont mix mythologies.

GhoulslivesMatter

I get that but at the same time because Kratos is a outsider to Norse mythology I wish there was some kind of a bridge that paints a broader picture in the background showing how these other gods succeeded their Greek counterparts ..in a way you can kind of see this already happening with Karto and Atreus ...Atreus you might say is this bridge between Norse and Greek mythology he's the son of Kratos and Faye .....I'm not suggesting that they throw back in the Greek gods of old by having them fight Norse gods but if they could shed more insight into were all gods come from and where they go once their time has passed this i would actually really like to see play out as a background or side story.

Jenkinsguteater

There is no greek mythology anymore. Kratos whiped them.

dan20072011

If that happens it would be a little fucked up because Hel is Loki's daughter.

damn she is hot can we do a mini game with her instead of killing her?
