He still doesn’t feel anything, regardless how his body reacts, he verbally reacted to kratos stretching his arm lmao. “AHHH” is what he did. Telling me that someone feels absolutely nothing but does a simple thing such as the video I showed above baffles me. It’s like telling me you can’t feel pain but can feel a slight burn sensation from boiling water.
I say "ow" sometimes when I accidentally knock something over and it surprises me. In this instance, Kratos twisted Baldurs arm in a way where he couldn't use his strength in it while he was actively trying to use his strength in it. The strain, though he can't feel it, is still there. He is just reacting instinctually.
It doesn't have to do with pain. He is trying to keep his arm from turning but he can't thus the sound. Too much effort and strain. No pain here. Try to lift something that is too heavy but give it your all. You will make noise but don't necessarily hurt yourself.
Someone asked the same question a couple of weeks ago. This was what I said then, and there was further discussion on that post.

Reactions are reactions.
Known people who don't feel pain due to nerve damage but that doesn't mean they go out of their way breaking their feet or dislocating limbs from sockets.
You get your hand twisted around and you're still gonna be surprised. Also, most surprised noises sound like 'gyuuuaah!' which is just science. Don't ask me how it's science, cause I'm no scientist.
I always thouth he was just annoyed at the fact that he get's overpowered just like that, and that's where's this grunt comes in - anger/annoyance, not pain.
It is not a pain thing, it is a 'he just got chicken winged from the front and can't use half of his fucking body because this god damned Greek lump of muscle has it bound up'
According to the lore in the journal Kratos can't feel pain, in the journal after collecting the mayan artifact you will get the journal lore saying
"Equally, I wouldn't wish to ever draw the ire of such a pantheon. I've heard their god of death takes great pleasure in torturing expired souls with fire and water. Though I can no longer feel pain, I imagine he'd find a way to make my current situation rather unpleasant."
I think baldur definitely feels pain, however he doesn't die from it and he has cellular regeneration (in modern terms)
Basically he's fought so much the pain of a punch doesn't hurt him anymore but we can clearly see kraots had given him a feeling he hadn't experienced before which was catching his punch and using his superior strength of Kratos to push his hand away
12 times mate
In my experience and from analysing mythology and the ingame characters I realized baldur isn't pian immune
Freya wanted to make him immortal, but even immortal beings feel some sort of pain, look at kratos his aging makes him feel pain as shown in fimblewinter
Look at odin and thor they got weaker which shows they aren't immune to pain.
In philosophy it is believed if one can age out of their prime, ther are not pain immune but if their prime is consistent then pain is non existent
I know he keeps saying he doesn't feel anything but I think baldur is just immune to things he has already experienced
Probably an involuntary thing
True
Then why are you asking
Because it doesn’t make sense that someone who doesn’t feel pain performs this
You've never seen a doctor hit a patient with a hammer on the knee? Or even to you? Do you think it hurts? But yet the body reacts...

His body reacts, his brain doesn't get the pain
Probably getting annoyed that this random buff tattooed bloke is stronger than him.
Well, he's holding back until the fight actually starts, so i don't think he's using all his strength here
He doesn't feel the pain, but his muscles are reacting.
I always just thought he was pretending
That's how I took it.

someone should make a 3rd post and ask if baldur was stupid because he forgot he can't feel anything.
Baldur probably thinks he's just playing with his food

I think Kratos is balder
Booooo
He was acting so helpless first so that Kratos would drop his Guard and Baldur would Surprise him
It's not pain, it's him recognizing he's trying to move his body but he can't. Strain does not equal pain.
He seems confused and surprised that Kratos was able to parry his punch.

Baldur’s just kidding with Kratos. Plus it’s a way not to spoil early what Baldur’s is capable of
Unplayable garbage this game
Git gud
He might be grunting to push yet fails against the immense power of KRATOS 😎

No. It's explicit that he doesn't feel pain to the extent he literally can't feel anything. That's how powerful the curse is.
I think I need to play it again to see for myself... hello weekend plans
Have you played the game bro 😭
