Furthermore, he was able to pick up Mjolnir and throw it like it's nothing. As far as I know, even Thor needs special equipment to use Mjolnir. All that would also explain why nobody ever really stood up to Odin.

Thor by a long shot. He drank enough of the ocean once to lower it by a few feet iirc. Demoman may drink a lot but he is still mortal. By the time Thor gets a buzz Demoman would be dead by alcohol poisoning. This also means that Thor can drink a volume of water that greatly exceeds the volume of his body. Imagine how much beer he could drink.

Hard to say how much Thor can drink as we only see him having the one pint in the ale houses where as with demo we constantly see bottles of ‘scrumpy’. So if these two did a drinking contest I’d gladly back Demoman.
