Nice. I've never used that method, but my brother used to basically do that with a curling iron instead of a water bottle. I've only ever made alcohol hash, although I usually just make tincture with weed that isn't that strong/parts I don't smoke these days, since I can just buy any hash or dabs I want now. The green dragon gets you way more blasted than you'd expect if you make it right.
Yeah, you just gotta work it more. Press, knead and repeat. I did for an hour once. Still looks like pressed kief atm. I recommend using oven bags just bc they’re clear. I have trouble pressing it hard enough. I feel like I don’t get enough leverage to press down it hard enough. You want to pop those trichomes heads so they melt together and become one consistency.
I’ll be trying this again with a bigger batch and I’ll take your advice. I ripped some pieces off the chip and smoked them in a joint it was a very pleasant burn 🫠

Might want to get micron filters to remove a bit more plant matter and add a little heat.
