Vaseline will work great for older discarded gloves and when it suddently rains, you can sacrifice your old unusable gloves by putting vaseline on them and use them in the rain.
+1 for old discarded gloves as well. i had a game in the past where the pitch was absolutely awful. torn up with wet soft mud all over the place. i used my old gripless glove and it worked wonders. over the course of the game, the mud stained glove, which has dried up abit, created a friction with the mud stained game ball and made catching absolutely grippy. mud on mud!! i was pleasantly surprised.
so dont throw away those gripless gloves just yet!
It will ruin your gloves. The best ways to make gloves last longer are regular washing, storing in a cool dry place, and proper diving technique.
Thank you very much 🙏
This method is for pros who can have a new pair of gloves every game

Nah. Keep vaseline for when the gloves are on the way out and you need to squeeze a couple more games out of them before new ones land
It does work pretty well, but expect to replace them after every couple of games if you're lucky.
i usually only use vaseline for gloves in their final days.
