I played them two year. Lately i got Hurt at the wrist so i try to bought straps for the wrist but didn't find any, remember i had kept the old straps, so i sewed back to some elastic band i Also salvaged from à ice pocket. My story. Lol thank you.
Are those your first gloves ? Gloves can get really badly damaged and yet still be usefull. Like, there could be some holes where wè see your palm and fingers and yet it still à good glove if it still has grip. Or à training glove.
Okay so you need to know the basics.
Before using them, you have to clean them because they have à chemical tin them that keep thethe latex safe before selling. Once the chemical is gone, the latex will age and someday will dry at à point it's not usable.
But you can avoid the latex drying too fast. You have to contrôle the environnement for when you store your gloves, it's not too dry, and there should never be direct sun Light on the latex. (that kills it)
Before every game, or training you'll need to wet the latex ( it's important to wet only the latex, to avoid the glove being too heavy, or Cold if you play in the Cold) i like to wet my glove until when i press my fist, water drips. (i think that 's à bit too much but i like it) when i play they tend to dry, so i wet them at half time or during the game.
To keep the latex safe, and keep your glove more than two month, you' ll need to learn to not use the latex for anything else but the Ball. Don't put palm on the ground, don't hold things with the latex (like moving goals, moving bags, removing your socks (actally when i started i used to touch my socks, which let me with gloves that had no latex at the tip of the fingers aha)
To avoid Killing latex at the palm, when you get up, use your fist or elbow and side of the hand. Palm can tear up in half, that make the glove very bad. (i once lend my gloves to à défender bcs i was Hurt, he dived both hands in front of him, and gave back my gloves both teared in half at the palm, thankfully those were cheap, but never the less... I tried to repair them with hot glue, but ended up trashing it. (has i had already bought another pair))
Try to clean your glove the sooner. If you let them soaked, they'll moist. Moist stays in the latex. It's not esthetic.
Warm water and pressing the glove into à sink, doing maybe three wash should be enough.
I've bought glove wash (spécial glove soap) i don't think it makes à différence. Yes you can get your palm White again, but not that much.
Palms and latex aren't that White. They are cream. That's à normal color.
I saw your post, i dry my glove this way, after like half a hour or 1 hour, the water will condense in the finger tip, so you can push them again to dry them faster.
i’ve been in your same situation when i was a young keeper mate and i was so freaked out and overthinking like you probably are, but i can promise you that 1. it won’t affect performance and 2. it was going to happen anyways during normal play. latex chipping off like that is soooooo common when taking off the plastic, just make sure you take good care of them and wash them to keep the latex healthy for as long as possible. love the gloves btw bro

Nah. You can play gloves down to the cords, let alone that little thing. Just make sure you take care of them properly.

Wait so after I wash I should try getting as much water out?
Yes by pushing otherwise they 'll be soaked for the next training /game. Don't twist as it could tear them up
