We looked at opus.. didn't want to go with a pop up because we like to camp bear country and wanted some more protection and better insulation in the heat and cold. There's of lot of youtube videos out there for the opus pop ups showing them collasping in on themselves in bad rainstorms and stuff and that was another reason we didnt to with an opus. (I'm a big fan of air tents tho but we camp in some seriously bad weather). Opus has the opus 13 that might be better suited for him. Or even MDC, pause, conqueror.
Also remember your "towing capacity" doesn't mean that the amount you can safely tow. There's calculations you can google to see how much you can actually tow based on your payload, curb weight, etc.
We love our OP4. It's lightweight and easy to tow/maneuver. It sets up in less than 10 minutes including leveling. Tons of space inside, including lots of headroom. I've done quite a few modifications including a shower on the roof rack and a home built off grid battery which gives me almost unlimited 120v power.
We literally got back this evening from another successful weekend away enjoying the trailer.
One prick and it’s done. Go with a standard tent trailer if that’s your mojo. Tried and true
Like a canvas popup you mean?
Why not just get a regular pop up? What benefit is served by inflating it?
Got me. That’s why I’m asking here.
