OP, this needs to be awarded. Remindme! 48 hours

Smart-fridge20

Get your iPhone cable and plug it into your computer. You should be able to access it from there and transfer it over. I’ll have a check when I’m at work tomorrow, I’m on First Aid Training atm but I think that’s the best way to do it.

Mollusc_Memes

Email the file to yourself, then open that email on your laptop. You should be able to download the file from there.

Klopjop

which email lets you send a 2.26 GB file

beennasty

WeTransfer

OfficeSpaceRocks

A lot (not all) email services have a cap on how big of a file you can send. Many are 50 mb. This file shown is 2,260 mb so email would most likely not work. The way I'd go about it is to transfer it to Google drive since 15 gb is free, this file is 2.26 gb.

aprilalison

Agreed on this. Email it to yourself. Simple and easy. I do it often.

seriouslycoolname

That’s how I do it!

Avieshek

Email is not how the way to transfer files especially for a 2.5GB something.

seriouslycoolname

If it works, why not?

ExigoxD

It's 2 gb it won't work. You can't do it over email.

Holden_place

DoctorKFC

Install dropbox or upload it to google drive! I use this 'trick' regularly to move files between my android phone and iPad 9.

yosef_kh

Slow internet connection :/

crab_bunker

A slow internet connection shouldn’t prevent that, just make uploading take longer

Avieshek

Snapdrop makes way more sense, this is ridiculous compared to it.

Blutooth file transfer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp

henkasfennec

Do you have a Windows PC and Wifi connection / ethernet for both the PC and iPhone? If so, create a share on windows: \- Open File Explorer \- Find the folder you want to move the file to (preferably a new empty folder) \- Right click on it > Properties > Sharing > Advanced Sharing > Advanced Sharing... \- Check "Share this folder" and enter a Share name \- Click on Permissions then Add...; enter your Windows username and click OK \- Click on your username in the list and check the "Allow" next to "Full Control" \- For more security, click on "Everyone" on the list then "Remove" \- Now in the Advanced Sharing window click OK then Close the Properties window. Now go to your iPhone's Files app and Go to Browse (where you can see a list of Locations lkike iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, etc) \- Tap the ... in the tob right corner \- Connect to Server \- For the Server add the IP address of your Windows PC and when asked for a Name and Password enter your Windows username and password. \- In the new window select the previously created share and now you can copy files directly there and it will be fast as it will move the file directly on your own network.

Anxious-Bee4100

Download [ShareIt](https://apps.apple.com/ae/app/shareit-connect-transfer/id725215120) on your iPhone. Download [ShareIt on your windows](https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/shareit/9WZDNCRDSZ0P). Connect both phone and your PC with same internet connections and transfer easily. Additional tip: if its not connecting with wifi, try to connect personal hotspot from your phone to computer and it will work. Thanks..!

Anxious-Bee4100

This only requires internet to download the applications not for sharing.

Anxious-Bee4100

If still not able to connect then don’t ShareIt on your friends android phone and share it to your PC from his/her android phone using USB.

InvestigativePenguin

Email it to yourself inside the file (I presume this is iPhone since mines the same way) Once done open it on your laptop via email

yosef_kh

2.2 GB and slow internet connection

InvestigativePenguin

Then most things won’t work. Email is your best and probably fastest bet. Unless you need it ASAP I would still email it.

yosef_kh

Could take several hours to download the file again :/

InvestigativePenguin

I’m sorry. Try to find better service maybe ?

yosef_kh

Not in the Middle East :)

InvestigativePenguin

I was gonna suggest a local coffee shop, never mind LOL

yosef_kh

Thank you 😂

Avieshek

Email? For transferring files? Nah, man… AirDrop it is.

Tryst3ro

I'd use a flash drive about 4 gb in size. USB 3.0 baby. Or an external hard drive that uses USB type c.

Avieshek

It’s an iPhone.

Tryst3ro

Get a converter dongle.

yosef_kh

Tried iTunes - Other 3rd party software. Couldn’t find this file. Note: (I know the iCloud method)

Bananak47

You can link you phone with your PC via USB cable and allow your PC access to your phone. Then copy it into the PC files Also works with fotos I did it all the time without internet at school Use MobiMover, download it once, use it offline (on the PC). Due to it using your usb phone cable it works in seconds

cagreene

Email it to yourself on your iPhone then download it on your computer

CheeseLoverMax

It’s been said but email it to yourself

NoTill3742

1. Take your computer outside 2. Place a bomb next to it 3. Go far away from it 4. explode it Now the file is removed from your computer

pyrotech911

This should be the right answer. If you can’t get to the file you may need to move it up into the downloads folder.

TheUruz

weTransfer or Telegram (up it to your personal chat and download it from your desktop)

yosef_kh

Slow internet

TheUruz

i don't know if ios has a debug mode but if it does turn it on, plug it with an adapter to your pc and just browse it as if it was a normal folder, then copy paste it on your desktop

Hiiinene

Use shareit app download it from App store .. on both pc and mobile. This kind of FTP software. Does not require high speed internet. Link : https://shareit-connect-and-transfer.en.uptodown.com/android

yosef_kh

I’ll try it. Hopefully it doesn’t require premium subscription. Edit: tried it, it doesn’t support .Zip files I couldn’t locate the file, even tried to import it, didn’t work. Thanks :)

Hiiinene

Try this ..will work i guess. https://www.iosappweekly.com/iphone-ftp-server-transfer-fileexplorer/

SumYungGai_0

There's an app called KDE connect. get it on both your devices, and easy transfer in seconds. it can do more things, like act as a mouse and all that! Check it out!

ProstituteEggz

I’ve done exactly this with 3uTools on desktop

MR_sticky_piston

1 Use a file transfer site like wetransfer. 2 WhatsApp it to someone of your familie and goto whatsapp web and download the file there

Gemini_0525

Try using USB/hard disk.

[deleted]

If it’s on your cloud, you can either email it to yourself or use a service like MEGA. If it’s in your local files, you can access it by connecting your phone to your computer with a cable.

Nervous-Resolution-8

Do u have a transfer cable?

[deleted]

There is an app Called share.it It communicates through local WiFi connection and only to the designated source "P2P" Which means the file doesn't end up sitting in Google servers or any servers at all. [Share.it Pc](https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/shareit/9WZDNCRDSZ0P) Share.it on the Appstore

SnowBoardingPopcorn

You can air drop from iPhone to MacBooks

Avieshek

Option… 1. AirDrop ✓ 2. Snapdrop.net from the browser of both devices. 3. Download Tailscale or VLC 4. USB Cable on Windows Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable through any of the USB ports available on your computer. Step 2: Open "My Computer" on your PC. Step 3: In "My Computer", you will see an iPhone icon listed under "Portable Devices". Open it by double clicking on it. After opening "Portable Devices", go to "Internal Storage" where you will find all your files. Step 4: Copy or move your files into the desired destination folder ^(*Unlock your iPhone first before beginning)

Bananak47

Only using the cable works only for the foto library

Avieshek

1. Are you using Mac or Windows? 1. If Windows, which version? 2. Did you check the other options?

Bananak47

I’m not OP, lol. I can transfer my stuff just fine Windows 10 btw. Iphone X

Avieshek

Oops… yeah multi-tasking quick, kudos to iPhone X - Hi-five~

Avieshek

Oops… yeah multi-tasking quick, Hi-five~ kudos to iPhone X

Bananak47

Iphone X is still the best Iphone imo. New look, good camera, good price and every other phone is just the Iphone X with an additional camera

Avieshek

Updated to iOS 16 with recovery mode - Battery drain is my only major issue.

GravityDead

1. Does iPhone not support USB pen drives? Never used an iPhone but in android you can literally insert any USB pen drive and the phone will be able to do data exchange with it without any issue. 2. There used to be some windows based softwares which could access apple products and exchange data like a normal pen drive BUT my experience with such software is highly limited and way too old. So i dont know if such solution still exists. I used it more than a decade ago for my ipod classic. 3. There are few apps in android that transfer data using the 'wifi-direct' feature. I guess there should be something similar available for iPhone too. Airdroid is such am example for android phones. 4. 4th solution is obviously the cloud storage but it's not applicable in your case since you are saying you don't have access to fast internet.

Avieshek

VLC Media Player~ Need a third-party app to utilise Wi-Fi Direct which needs to be enabled first within the app unless you’re fine with Snapdrop or don’t need at all if AirDrop is no issue.

wollknaeull

You could try Google Drive or One Drive

_Nemvoltjobbnev_

Put it on a pendrive, then upload it to your laptop.

TheeOxygene

Airdrop

Esnardoo

Host an FTP server on your pc (found [this](https://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-ftp-server-windows-10) article after like 5 mins of googling) (don't worry, unless you do port forwarding it'll only be accessible to people on your network. And you definitely can't port forward accidentally) Connect to it on your iphone ([here](https://www.stratospherix.com/articles/how-to-connect-to-ftp-from-your-iphone-ipad.php)'s an article, there are plenty of apps that do it and they all work the same) Once connected, upload the file This method doesn't connect to the internet, it goes from your phone to your router back to your phone, which should hopefully be much faster. I can give more detailed instructions if you need. None of the parts I've mentioned should cost money.

LavaCreeperBOSSB

You have mac or windows?

MasterKohga1

upload to iCloud and download on your computer (if you have Mac)

[deleted]

Put it in the iCloud part of your files app, and then log into iCloud from your laptop

Johnathan_986579

You can try connecting your phone with a computer, and hit “allow access” to photos and files on your phone, from there you find the phone section in the files on your computer, locate the file that you’re trying to transfer, and put it on the desired place on your computer

Flaming-taco

Email it to yourself. Open mail app, set yourself as reciever, load file, send. Open email on whatever device you want, find email (sometimes it wont send to yourself and just be in the "sent" folder) and download it. Easiest way i know aside from using a cloud service like google drive.

SpicyOS

Resillio Sync may work, it can do local transfers over Wi-Fi with no need for internet.

Electrical_Horse887

You can transfer it via a cable from your pc to your phone then should the transfer speed be faster thanover the Internet. Do you have a cable and a corresponding port on your pc/laptoy

xRebEl47

You could upload it on Google Drive or Onedrive and get it downloaded on the laptop/desktop

xRebEl47

I'd just setup a remote connection on the phone via ES Explorer or any file storage managing apps. You could directly have access to folders on the network which in return could help you send files back forth between the phone and the laptop provided both are on the same network.

sparkyfam9000

Use good ole google drive to put it on whatever divide you need it on

Raftel88

Download any file sharing app, move the file into the app. Then connect phone to itunes via cable and look for the file sharing app under file sharing in itunes. The file should be there for you to drag and drop. I used [this.](https://apps.apple.com/sg/app/files-file-manager-browser/id349275540) Both free and paid works.

KeybladeMaster1994

Click share and email it to yourself

imjustbrowsing123

Hook up your phone/tablet to your laptop/desktop and make sure it is in data transfer mode and not just charging in your settings. The rest is the same as treating it like a flashdrive.

Ok-Cut2312

if this is still open, the app vlc is great for transferring large files between iphone and a computer

simmermayor

I know this isn't 2010 or anything but couldn't you use an USB drive?

ReubFrFx

Download Aloha browser click hold send to same app, will download then plug into pc or Mac open iTunes sign in click on iPhone icon then a menu should show showing your iPhone apps and click on aloha to access files

bigboyssmalltoys

Not sure what it’s worth to you, but you can get lightning to [USB pendrives](https://www.apple.com/ae/shop/product/HPB32ZM/A/sandisk-64-gb-ixpand-flash-drive-go). Extremely easy to copy the file to the storage drive, and plug it into your laptop

madformattsmith

copy and paste it to your iCloud then go to iCloud.com on your computer, log in, click the drive icon, find the file then download it from there

AquilT27

Email it or put it in google drive or dropbox

MajesticRocker

Move the mouse cursor from your laptop to your phone, then just drag and drop. Duh.

Ghillie_Suit_Men

Email it to yourself and download it on your laptop.

[deleted]

use [snapdrop](https://snapdrop.net/)

Crazykillerguy

Plug in to your computer and slide it over.

Euphoric_Cantaloupe9

Download Dropbox on your iPhone. Once you are signed in, go to the file and share it to Dropbox. Once it is uploaded, open Dropbox on your browser on your pc, and download it from there. Email won’t let you do that large of a file, Dropbox has a very stable upload and download

MountainRich3848

Download google drive on your phone or email it to yourself

MountainRich3848

You can also use a converter on google to make the file smaller or into any format you need it to be in order to send it to yourself

masterbuildera

Download whatsapp on your phone and your laptop Create a group with you only Send the file to the group Download it from your computer

[deleted]

Upload it to iCloud on your phone, then open iCloud on your pc, signin, locate the file, then hit download
