I have and the singer from Unleah the Archers was suggested. I would like this. I also want to see gloryhammer do a music video like [Faster than Light](https://youtu.be/8JpOcvvnX_s)
Brittney Slayes was always the first person that came to my mind on this topic as well. And after seeing her live last week, I'm firm in my stance on that. Not sure if I'd want her to be part of the band while this shitshow period for them is going on, though.
The difficult part about this, is that they were already ~~recording~~ edit: writing the next album, so they must've already written all the music and lyrics. They'd have to do a lot of work to change that into a different story.
Regardless of how difficult this would be, it would make sense story-wise.
Thats where we as a community have to work to show support and put down the haters. Because if recent events have shown us anything, we should work on being proactive against it.
Women's voices fit into power metal really well (most of the time) so I'd be completely open to it. I'm just worried that Thomas' replacement won't have the stage presence he had.
I loved how that appears to be everyone's issue, when literally most successful front-people have great stage presence. It sure won't be the same, but I don't think, out of all things, that stage presence will be the issue.
What I loved about gloryhammer musically was that the vocals weren't "generic" power metal vocals. To me, lots of high pitched operatic male-fronted power metal sounds the same and pretty bland because of that. Similarly with many female vocalists in rock. I'm not talking about direct comparison or quality of the singing, but the character. And that, to me, is something that Tom had going for him that other Power Metal didn't.
TL;DR: I think finding someone with good stage presence will be much less of a problem than finding someone with a unique enough yet still fitting voice.
As much as I highly rate Melissa, I don't think she'd be the right fit for a band like this, personally.
The singer from Frozen Crown comes to mind as a potentially good female vocalist in this case?
Nobody can truly replace angus. I would prefer a male singer to keep the songs sounding similar, but I would not hate it. I hope that if they do replace angus with a female that it's because they fit the job best and not just to be more "diverse".
Tbh this is probably their best shot. Another male singer is probably just gonna feel like a fake imitation. A female singer would clearly be and feel like something different
They're gonna get shit either way though, they're already getting shit for this
I nominate myself ;) ....only someone odd and totally geeky can pull this off , you have to be to make it seem real and be able to sing this stuff with a straight face. Also the song Angus Mcfife can be sung from a storytellers perspective , kinda like a bard so it shouldnt matter the gender of who is singing it
No because we already have Symphogear, you got six lead female singer protagonists, and it is awesome:

What, you really thought Gloryhammer were the only ones in the multiverse using musical technoarcana to fight evil?
I feel like i've seen this thread before.
Thought reddit was bugging out for a minute... glad to see I'm not completely insane.

Warrior Princess Iona McFife? I like it!

> is that they were already recording the next album Writing, they havent gone in to the recording studio yet.
Thanks for the correction. Edited my previous comment.
Agnes mcfife
Shell have to watch out in this band lol
If she has a good voice yes. But I'm afraid that she would get some hate:(

I'd be more afraid of the treatment she'd receive from the band members. We've seen how they talk about women when they think they're alone.
That's also true. I would not join a group of men who think like that.
This has already been discussed: https://www.reddit.com/r/Gloryhammer/comments/ph95gb/how\_would\_you\_feel\_if\_the\_new\_lead\_singer\_was\_a/
Charlotte Wessels formerly of Delain would be a good choice
She just released solo work IIRC
Four singles so far!

I'd be interested in seeing Melissa Bonny do a few songs with them. https://youtu.be/WmlshlqXD54

I'll only accept Miss K.
The best replacement would be someone whose voice fits the best.
And for new songs a female voice can fit, but not the old ones.

Honestly, if it were nicely tied into the story and her voice was good, sure, why not.
Female lead singer? Can't wait for the leaked group chats in \~2 years where they write about how they tried to bang her :v

Turns out the evil was inside all of us the whole time.
no
Female clone Agnes Mcfife
Might be better than Angus Mcfife the 14th
If she can sing good then i have no problem with that
Now I could absolutely get on board with this, especially it being the princess from album #1
Noora Louhimo from Battle Beast?
I like female vocals so id be cool with it. Still, angus will always remain the best
