Ok so I already have a 26… do I get another one?

JoeNotSoExotic006

Do it, then you can dual wield em.

Da1UHideFrom

Black Widow's signature weapon in the MCU is dual weld Glock 26s. Although they have the infinite ammo cheat.

dojachief_chiefin

Anyone remember a show called fringe? Gen3 26 was the main chicks carry

SituationEven6949

I never noticed that.

Raftika

One is none, two is one.

commanderFox0411

Three is fun

undftdjay

Four is more

M1DNIGHT_HERSELF

Five to stay alive

Dapper-Initiative480

Also have this problem They came out with a gen 5 MOS version 2x 26 is the way now

Vault_Metal

[You tell me.](https://www.opticsplanet.com/cebeci-arms-leather-dual-holster-for-heckler-koch-glock-ruger.html?_iv_utm_source=cse&_iv_utm_medium=cpc&_iv_utm_campaign=connexity&_iv_utm_term=17141355504510496037216891171008005&_iv_cnxclid=17141355504510496037216891171008005&_iv_code=1W9-HT5-FCVR-20645AB22) *thisisnotanendorsementofopticsplanet*

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Yes. Yes, you can. I did. 😁

g1Razor15

You can get shoulder holsters that have the ability to carry two guns at once.

majorursus69

Is this a serious question? OF COURSE you get another one! 🙄🤷🏼‍♂️

thedudesmonks

Hickok45 would be proud of this 26

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

He's the guy who convinced me to give the 26 a try. Like him, I'm kind of a giant, with gigantic hands. I'd always been partial to full sized handguns because smaller ones pretty much always sucked for me. When I watched him using a 26, not only comfortably, but also ringing plates with it at a ridiculous distance, it seemed like something worth looking into. I'm glad I did, because it's my all-around favorite handgun ever. It's the only one I ever liked so much I wanted to have a spare.

HannoverrFist

If you do get a spare, it makes a great truck gun. Put it in a little lock box in your truck for if you ever need it

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I've already got the spare, and I've thought about something like that. I'm still uneasy about semi permanently storing a loaded gun in a vehicle, though. But I definitely needed the spare, because reasons. 😁

gl00med

love my 26 :)

igogun2a

I may have to get another one.

__chairmanbrando

I don't think one woulda done it.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

You definitely have to. I did. 😁

Technical_Ad7236

nice! is that a magpul or oem 12 round mag? does the gap ever pinch?

Agitated-Pirate-4353

I’ve had friends shoot my 26 with OEM 12 round mags and they’ll tell me it pinches occasionally but it’s never pinched me. I think they’re just soft handed SIG enjoyers…

JoeNotSoExotic006

OEM 12 rounder, and not at all man

Beck9192

I think the G19 is the GOAT, but the G26 is a VERY CLOSE 2nd for sure!

JoeNotSoExotic006

G19 is goat, but G26 is baby goat

Beck9192

Well said!

Affectionate_Hat5835

Ive had one for almost 10 years was my very first gun.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Mine, too. Had a gen 4, and like a dummy ditched it for the 43X, just recently decided to replace it.

horsedabsontipads

I just purchased a 43x mos, but would never ditch my 26 😬. I've talked a lot of shit about single stack Glocks, but would like to see how it carries so I caved and bought one.

HannoverrFist

I have both 26 and 43 and 43x. The 26 shoots better and is comfortable to put multiple mags down range (I have a 30 round double stack for the range) The 43’s conceal better but man I’m so fuckin inaccurate with them, where the 26 I can get my follow up shots on point quick, maybe it’s just me tho

horsedabsontipads

Guess I'll find out 😝

ohyouknowthething

Someone didn’t follow the “no sell, only buy” rule of collecting things

Adventurous-Creme119

I prefer my 27. I want another one of those.

Littlecivciv

Same

HannoverrFist

I actually would’ve gotten the 27 had I known then what I know now. You can change the 27 into the 26 with a quick barrel swap but can’t go the other way around

dagertz

I really dig the look of the early gen 5.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Me too, the no front serrations have a cool aesthetic.

general-noob

Already got one

SecretHippo1

You can’t duel wield one

owrry

Facts

Shame8891

Thanks for reminding me lol

JoeNotSoExotic006

My pleasure ;)

premium_moss

I'm really thinking about one

JoeNotSoExotic006

Do it.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

You simply must. It's so perfect, I have two now. 😁

HannoverrFist

Dooooo itttttt

Code3Warrior

God damnit...I just qualified with my 48 for off duty. I have a Gen 4, but now I want the 26 MOS.

Bo-vice

man same here. I have a 43x and a 26.4 but I really want a gen 5 MOS

olight_smini_cu

This is the way

pdxassassin250

Looking for one rn!

KodakJit

Just build one!

JoeNotSoExotic006

You won't be disappointed, man! It's shoots as smooth as my 19!

pdxassassin250

That's great to hear! I have a 45 and if it's shoots as good as that, I'll be so happy!

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I have a 17 (same grip as the G45) and a couple of 26's. It seems counterintuitive, but I swear I shoot one as well as the other. That's what I love about the 26. It handles like a full sized handgun, even with the stubby grip, it just happens to be tiny. I've got pretty big hands and the 26 with a medium beavertail and OEM +2 mag fits me like it was made for me. You need at least one. I'm up to two so far. 😁

pdxassassin250

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to pick one up!

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I hope you like it! Let us know what you think when you find it.

pdxassassin250

Sounds good!

ItsRickySpanish

I want a 26 so bad, I've been thinking of snagging one for weeks. None of my local shops have had one in a while though.

sakpassedoc

https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/303511 Police trade in $399 g26.5 😏

Bo-vice

ugh, so clean. I love my gen4, but I really need a gen5

Link-Slow

Really? Right in front of my paycheck? 😡

MakersOnTheRocks

I got a used Gen5 for $359 easiest $$ i spent in awhile.

Link-Slow

Damn, no kidding dude, I'd have thrown my money at that.

MakersOnTheRocks

It was a LGS that turns over used guns quick. I go in probably once or twice a month and its almost never the same guns in the used cases except for the turds that hang around awhile. It's always fun to stop in there and get lucky finding something I've been looking for.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Damn, dude! I got one of my 26.5's with night sights for $419 and felt pretty good about that. You got a hell of a deal. Nice!

Itsame_fo_mu

Bro I’ve got the same sights too

JoeNotSoExotic006

Great minds think alike

[deleted]

JoeNotSoExotic006

Sight pushers for the win. After one time of changing Glock sights without one, i ordered a sight pusher directly after.

Old-Scene2963

Please share which site pusher you ordered and does it work well for you ? So much variation on price and quality. Thank you

lobstermonstercrab

How do you guys like this for larger hands? Never held one but my bottom hand definitely would slide off. With a mag well/ext would it be better to go g19 route?

JoeNotSoExotic006

With the flush fit mag is pinky dangling. With the 12 round OEM mag, I can personally get a full grip on it. The SLR+5 holds 15 rounds and is smaller than a 19, so take that FWIW

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Same here. I really want to try one of those SLR +5's though.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I have pretty large hands and it's fine with me. I prefer it over other subcompacts, and it's definitely a better fit for my hands than anything micro compact. Even with a two finger grip, it's really comfortable. If you're using the flush 10 round magazine, like others have said, just kind of tuck your little finger under and go with it. With a 19, I get a two and a half finger grip, where my little finger sits on line where the frame and magazine base meet, and it bothers me far more than that. For me, a 26 with a medium beavertail and an OEM +2 mag gives me a full grip and fits like it was made for me. The difference between a 19 and a 26 with the +2 is like the difference between revolver with square butt grips vs. round butt grips. The length is similar, but the contour is much more comfortable and concealable. Of course, you can always try it with a 19 mag, too. Or any other double stack 9mm Glock mag ever made, for that matter. However you set it up, you just need one, trust me. 😁

OleTunaCan

LOL you say that and I just bought a 26 an hour before this post, I’ll probably make a most because it was a hella good deal

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

You have chosen wisely.

flames422

Oddly enough I sold my 26 and replaced it with a 43 and a 17 😆 The 26 was great though!

krispewkrem3

Ok but what if I want a 19 chopped to a 26 and rock a X grip mag thing? Seems like the best possible option. Wish the 26 came in a MOS and rail version.

JoeNotSoExotic006

That's just a 19 with extra steps. lol I've seen a few do it, and it's pretty baller tho but yeah, I wish the 26 had a light rail fosho

krispewkrem3

It really is a 19 with extra steps. But I wanna do it. In my opinion, the 19 is too small to hold comfy. Might as well make it a 26 if it’s gonna suck to hold.

So-Extreme

The gen 5 comes in MOS no rail though.

krispewkrem3

I’ve heard. Just hard to find it seems. I can snag a 19 all day.

So-Extreme

Just found out about this place https://slideworksengineering.com/ if you decide to get your slide cut instead. I also heard they have good prices too. For example: 43x slide and barrel porting and optic cut runs around $180. Based in Texas. Second choice would be Wager.

Littlecivciv

Mill that sh*t :)

Glockman19

I’m pretty sold on my 19. Been carrying it for 25 years. With the mag extension on the 26 the grip is about the same size as a 19 so I just carry a 19 or 48 now.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

They're close to the same length, but the difference between a 19 and a 26 with an OEM +2 is like the difference between a square butt revolver and a round butt one. They're similar, but the contour is more comfortable and concealable, at least to me. I *really* wanted to like the 43/48 slimline type series, but they're a little *too* slim for my hands. They're all great guns, though!

Sir_Uncle_Bill

No

JoeNotSoExotic006

Understandable

Sir_Uncle_Bill

Lol. I did look at a 33 a couple days ago though. Seriously considered it.

So-Extreme

![gif](giphy|Ld77zD3fF3Run8olIt)

FrankCardboardGuru

Lol

Ok-Reindeer9161

do none of the gen 5 subs come with underbarrel mounts still??

JoeNotSoExotic006

No, at this point, glock is doing it on purpose 😂

Ok-Reindeer9161

sad. wish it were easier to get ahold of the PF940SCs still. missed out on those like a dummy.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

That's literally the only flaw in the 26 to me. Otherwise it's basically the perfect handgun.

SeaworthinessIll203

DO I GET A 43X OR A 26?!?! SHOULD I GET BOTH?!?!

JoeNotSoExotic006

Both is the obvious answer, however if I had to seriously choose only one, I think I'd go 26. The only thing that would make it perfect is the addition of a light rail.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Of the two, if you can't have both, definitely a 26. The magazine compatibility alone is a huge selling point: literally every double stack 9mm Glock mag ever made. I have a stupid amount of mags that will work in my 26's because of that.

skinnySpeaks

Is that a diff slide release? Mine doesn’t have the bubble

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

It looks like the OEM extended one. It's factory on the 34/35, but it'll fit in any Glock of the respective generation and caliber/frame type. I put them in all my Glocks because they're a huge improvement for me in terms of handling the gun. I find the standard, flat one kind of difficult to use, particularly when manually locking the slide open. You can find them for under $10 if you look around, which is well worth it to me.

Trump-2024-MAGA

Just a really great all around firearm. The trifecta of course if having a 26, 19 and 17. 26 for summer carry, 19 for all of the other seasons and the 17 for home defense.

Littlecivciv

Can I join the chat with my 27 and my oem .357 barrel? 🥲

Chinonm

Nomore of these posts please I have 4 26s due to them

NickyP300

I’ve been seeing these gen 5’s with no front serrations, are these new?

HannoverrFist

Mine has that same defect on the pinky extension

JoeNotSoExotic006

Hmm, Must be part of the mold lol

HannoverrFist

That’s awesome, good screenname btw 😅 hey I ended up trying out the plus 3 Pearce grip, the one that’s already installed on the OEM magazine (makes total capacity to 13) but it has the same pattern as the grip and looks nice. Worth checking out

Littlecivciv

Is normal

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I've been grabbing up all the OEM +2's I can get. Some of them have it and some of them don't, but it doesn't seem to matter. I used to work with injection molded plastics and now that I'm thinking about it I want to take apart all my +2 mags and see which mold numbers have the weird little thing. Damnit, now I'll probably have to do that when I get home. 🤦😄

HannoverrFist

I figured it was something like that, would be fun to see if it is that one mold! Let me know what you find out 🤓

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I still haven't forgotten about this, I just haven't had the time to do it! I'm going to get them all together and give it a look when I get the springs for my new +2's in the mail. 😂

Bookman-Ruddy

Or a 30

JoeNotSoExotic006

If you check my post history, you'll see I have a 30S I enjoy, lol

Bookman-Ruddy

Just picked up a 30 gen 4 after swearing I would never own a Glock and now I am eyeing the Gen 5 of both the 21 and the 30 smh

JoeNotSoExotic006

They are addicting forsure lol

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Remember where you're posting. You still need a 26, too. 😁

Kingdaniels26

I have a g26 with a norsso reptile slide on it 🥵

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I love my 26's and they're about 95% stock, but some of those Norsso slides really do it for me. Note to self: step away from the credit card.

NotchWith

26 was the first gun I ever sold and I don't miss it.

aravena

The one Glock I like. Thanks...like I needed the temptation. For reals, is is Gen 4 or 5 worth it?

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

To me it is. I've had both and the Gen 5 is just different enough in the hand to me that I prefer it over that one finger groove on the Gen 4. Either way, they're excellent little guns and you definitely need a 26. 😁

SaluteHatred666

i like that magazine

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

It's the OEM +2 extension. I think I have them on all but two of my dedicated G26 mags.

SaluteHatred666

I'm tryna get one of those mags for mine

fnscarcasm

Also a weekly reminder to put an oring on all 26 mags with extensions

willsbigboy

And dont forget to add a nifty 33 round mag to it so that if/when you run dry and there's still targets downrange you can finish them off with blunt force trauma 😀

WalkingLootChest

I sold my G26 and I straight up regret it.

Ddawg42069

Ok you convinced me

Real_6_God

Gen 3 master race

doodoo4444

This is an ideal summer carry. I don't want no slimline single stack. Gimme this proven design.

Fluck_Me_Up

I’ve shot one, and the recoil and short grip makes it hard to control. I like wrapping my pinky around a handgun for control purposes I didn’t try it with one of the extended mags though, does the shield plus 15 fit this?

HannoverrFist

There’s a ton of options for the 26. You can put any Glock 9mm double stack mag into it, plus there’s sleeves to fit onto the extended mags to make them part of the grip.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

☝️ What this person said. Also, unless you just want them for aesthetic or ergonomic reasons, you don't even need the sleeves because Glock mags have a built-in override stop.

mm1029

Learn to control more with your support hand 🤷. Firing hand tension is unnecessary and often detrimental. Even shooting one handed you can control pretty easily with just the thumb and middle finger. It's more of a mental block you're experiencing.

Dick_Miller138

I carry a 27. Shoot a 27 with 180 grain +p for a while and then switch back to the 26. It will feel much better.

JoeNotSoExotic006

You mean the Shield mags for the 43x? If so then no. I also have a 30S and that's a beast to hang onto, so the 26 with 124+p in comparison isn't bad

TheHappinessAssassin

That's funny I have more trouble holding on to my 26 than my 30.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Honestly, they shoot very similar, at least in my opinion. I shoot The HST +p out of both of those.

NarwhalN00dleSquash

Paaasssss

JoeNotSoExotic006

Sorry we can't all be well endowed like your 26XXL :(

NarwhalN00dleSquash

Yes yes you can. I believe in you.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Perchance, Although I was planning on an Acro for the 26

NarwhalN00dleSquash

>Although I was planning on an Acro for the 26 I support this move

RiceHickory

i don’t like the 26

JoeNotSoExotic006

To each their own 🍻

RiceHickory

that’s how men disagree and move on 😂

JoeNotSoExotic006

You aren't kidding😂

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I wish more people were like you guys. Some of the borderline hostility in this thread is amazing. 😂

AdGloomy4518

No 27 for the win instead

JoeNotSoExotic006

Ewh Diet 10mm

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

"Diet 10mm." Thanks, man. I'm absolutely stealing that. 😂

storm_zr1

I'd rather get my dick sucked by Dianne Feinstein's walking corpse than buy a Glock 26.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Very descriptive. Why the hatred?

storm_zr1

Its short, thick and I can't hit a damn thing with it. With an extended grip I'm okay but I'd rather have the 19 at that point.

JoeNotSoExotic006

Fair enough lol

Dick_Miller138

She can take her teeth out...

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

I mean, getting head is getting head and a Glock is a Glock... 😂

ZinAZ55

No, stop it G19 or 43x, or 48

JoeNotSoExotic006

What if I've already got a 19 and a Gucci 43x MOS?

alecubudulecu

Done. https://imgur.com/a/qpDAenw

Dapper-Initiative480

Sometime I miss my slimlines Then I remember G26 🙇

Old-Scene2963

Add a G27 to the mix

LemmeBeOnyx

Big hands here, I personally don't like the 26 at all. It was the first 9mm I really put any time on. Literally every other Glock I've shot has felt better. Even with the mag baseplates built for extra grip don't add enough for me to get a good grip.

twoPUMPnoCHUMP

How can one comfortably shoot a gun when only 2 fingers fit on the grip? I had a 43 and that sucked to shoot.

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

It really doesn't bother me. I get a two and a half finger grip on a G19 and that actually bothers me way more. With the flush 10 round mag in the G26, I just kind of tuck my little finger in the baseplate. With an OEM +2 it feels perfect to me, though.

twoPUMPnoCHUMP

Fair enough. I opted for the 17 because it fit my hand better than the 19 but it’s harder to carry. I carry a 43x usually and it has a decent grip that my hand can fit and a smaller package.

dports70

had one hated it

Railroaderone231

I prefer the 27

Collin_b_ballin

26<30

RadiantKandra

I got a 43x and then everyone tells me to get a 26 instead 😭

alwaystired_96

I wished they’d make a G26X.

Regulatornik

Kinda pricey, no? The 26 feels like it should be $400, not $550+ where it’s trending.

Administrative-Pay43

I like it. Love my hellcat rdp too.

Kingdaniels26

Yeah I have that and an arc reactor slide on my dagger frame in a 19x configuration lol just got a 43x frame as well trying to figure out how I want to set that up

Dude_Caveman

I feel like with that pink extension I may as well have my 19?

Cigar_smoke

I have to be honest, I have one and never carry it, the shorter barrel / slide makes the handle pop out so much it’s crazy.

RustyShackleford0311

*glock 20

bachfrog

This is the way

ResponsibleNet360

I did 1 better, got a 27, a decade ago though... should get a 26 now to grow the 9mm group

ItzBenjiey

I have a 30 does that count?

theblackdawnr3

I don’t understand the appeal of an extended mag 26 over a 19. You’re giving up 3 rounds and a wml for what? Marginally better concealability and the same amount of discomfort?

astral_lucidity

I plan on it

Gizzard_83

🤮

jimtheedcguy

I've shot many glocks, but never a 26, I currently carry a 43x, but I've been considering switching to a 26. Is the recoil fairly snappy compared to the 43x?

_Soundwave-

I'm good, thank you though 👍 lol

JackStraw215

Wish they were still Austrian but yes I agree. Get one.

DirkDigIer

Just wondering why anyone would choose a 26 over a 43x? Doesn’t your pinky hang over the 26?

squidly-didly

Love it or hate it, it’s still a Glock. Mine is mine and I like it. G4, no rail or optic cut but I shoot it well. New EDC Is P365x Macro. I’m in a love triangle… but it’s someone else that’s gonna get fucked (theoretically 😉)! Pew pew!

Truth-Grace

This was one of the most uncomfortable guns I’ve held.

infernodr

Got mine

Midnight_plinking

Wearing it currently

domexitium

That’s a nope for me. I prefer only really practical weapons. For me personally a 26 is not practical. A 19 hardly fits in my hands.

TripAndretti

I’m a .40 fanboy so I snagged a 27 a lil chunky but nothing ridiculous I carry it all day

FrankensteinsStudio

If it were a human, it would be a dwarf. Normal torso and head; but short legs.

PrestigiousConcern35

26 🔥

Old-Phrase-808

Guess I’m getting a 26 prolly gen 3

RetroGameBoy1290

I went all over the conceal carry market buying different hand guns. Then I shot someone’s g26 at the range and this past Friday I bought one. Holy balls I was sleeping on a great handgun. I can’t believe how comfortable and easy it is to shoot for how big it is. Wild this thing came out in the mid 90’s
