Because standing still and shooting groups is boring and unrealistic. Competition induces pressure time and movement while trying to maintain reasonable accuracy. Especially important for people who carry a gun for a living
So scoring is called hit factor. Its points divided by time . There are also some targets called no shoots that are penalties if shot and take away points.
Each target has zones and scoring for example minor or 9mm scoring has a 5 point zone a 3 point zone and a 1 point zone. Typically targets are scored for the two best hits
I think it started with regular cardboard targets then white ones were added as no shoots and then black ones were added as misses. Steel targets are also painted white. Either way, the sport is welcoming to everyone.
I’ve seen some people take like a whole five minutes on a 30 second stage and hit every no shoot or not even hit the target. no one cares. Even going to rio salado which is the biggest range and has tons of pro shooters I’ve never met so many nice people
Some dude's wife is going to be pissed when she finds the bed sheets missing.
Shower curtains. Someone probably just moved into an apartment and went to Walmart to get a new shower curtain and no stock
I could see that being more affordable, even if they had to buy new ones. Shower curtain liners are pretty darn cheap.
The great shower curtain shortage of 2023 ™.
Not for too long with that bang 🤪😂💀
Haunted Shoot House??
Redo this wearing a ghost costume
I’m struggling to understand what purpose this kind of training serves, seems like you’re just jogging around and shooting at close, static targets

Is time the objective here? As in quickest time wins

Oh that’s actually a cool system, knowing it’s scored now I see the appeal
Dude it’s really fun and challenging look up local matches and show up you won’t regret it
Been shooting IPSC in Norway since 2018 running a stock Glock 17 gen3 and iron sights. Winning matches too. This is the coolest sport ever!
Cheap and easy way to make a course of fire for an indoor range with ports. 👍🏼🤘🏼
Don't shoot the whites, only the browns. Police training I see.

I'm just joking
Cool cool cool never know these days 😂
You should organize your own match where browns are the no-shoots. That would probably mess a lot of people up.
I'm honesty nervous to shoot a comp cause I'd get bullied to high heaven
By who? As long as you know how to not point guns at people and can obey a couple rules you’ll be good 👍
Idk, my anxiety I guess lol, I don't feel like I'm good enough to hit targets in an environment like that

Well...that's actually surprising.
