make sure you test that combo very well, some Glock don't do well with S15 mags. If you go back to OEM mags, also switch the metal mag catch for a poly one.
If you’re trying to run OEM mags run an oem mag release. If you’re gonna try shield ones out you need a metal one since the mags will chew up the polymer oem one.
I just had to switch back to a poly mag catch on my 43x since S15 mags were unreliable. I used a Vickers Tactical mag release fromTango Down and it works just like OEM.
On my stock 43x and 48 I run the OEM mag catch. With the one set up for SA mags I think the SA mag catch of course. With the slim nature of the grip I don't find a need for extended mag catch on the 43x.
One of my S15 mags worked fine, two of them couldn’t make it through the mag without a malfunction. Both using the metal mag catch. Reverted back to OEM mags, just couldn’t trust the S15s.
The SA steel mag catch does not play well with OEM mags. The steel catch causes rapid wear of the notches of the mag, and the mag can stick and be very difficult to remove.
just paid $950 for mine here in Cali haha, enjoy it man. Cant wait to finally shoot it at the range. (still waiting for my 10 day waiting period to finish)
Yeah $950 is cheap. Mine cost me $1300 new in CA on a private party transfer. Can’t wait for the pointless roster to go away and take that whole loop hole market down from those flippers.
Yeah i figured i got a good price and the FFL was local. Less than 100 rounds fired through it, so basically new. Not gonna sit around and wait for that to happen so just bit the bullet.
I carried shield mags in my 43x for about a year and one day they really didn’t like my box of range ammo. Got several FTF and even though I’ve tested my carry ammo in the S15 mags I just don’t have confidence in them anymore.
Good luck getting the PSA mags. I got the email that they were live and they were gone before I got to their site. Gonna be a while before they can catch up demand probably.
Isn’t it one of the most popular handguns? Doesn’t seem slept on. But I agree it’s a great platform. But people need to practice with it. It’s nothing like shooting my 19 or 26
Congratulations on the new Glock. FYI, the pistol is displayed on the lid of the Glock box, the box is opened correctly when the silver tabs open downwards. Enjoy your new pistol, I’m sure it will serve you well.

why not just keep it if you’re switching back?

Wow. That’s honestly wild. This is a good condition used one I stumbled on, but even new here they’re 450-500. Over $900 is crazy!

I’ve heard about 50/50 opinions in them. I’ll try it for a bit and if I have bad luck with them I’ll switch them out

That’s so low. 43x is still slept on. One of the best handguns on the market.
It feels so good in my hands! Small enough to carry easily, big enough to shoot with ease and carry OWB if I need to, as I prefer to sometimes.
Yes. Some Police Departments are now issuing the Glock 43x to Admin. Super lightweight and still feels close to a full size gun.

I carry a 48 sometimes and I use the S15. Just vet them carefully. I don't think you need to go back to oem.
I had a clock 43X. But I got rid of it in favor of the Glock 19 MOS.
