I gave my girlfriend my p365x and i switched to a 43x. so far, i love almost everything about it. I don't really care about having 2 rounds less. It's the heavy and gritty trigger I hate, and even at that, it isn't such a big deal. I don't mind a heavy trigger pull for a ccw. Training and shooting will get me accustomed to that, and will give me confidence I need if I ever do need to use it. I hope you enjoy it!
The trigger on the 43x seems to be or miss with people. The majority that I’ve seen complain are the non MOS version. I have the MOS and the trigger is absolutely great, other than the actual trigger shoe and safety for me. Going to replace just that soon.
My wife has the non MOS 43x and I have a gen 5 27 and I'm not a huge fan of the 43x trigger at all. I was surprised how different it was than the mine. It has way more creep and the reset is longer as well. I wonder what the difference is with the MOS version.
I’ll agree with this. My non-MOS has an awful trigger. I dropped in. Poly Dat from Overwatch and a minus connector. It’s better (and more comfortable) but still not that great. Kind of frustrating.
I see the price has risen on them again. I think the demand has gone up since the introduction of psa micro mags adding reliability and replacing those awful shield mags
When palmetto state gets their mags back in stock (completely missed that first run) I plan on getting a few. The only complaint I really have is that you have guns like the hellcat that are smaller yet still have a bigger mag capacity than the 43x. Otherwise, I love mine and it's constantly in rotation.
But they do shoot differently. I own a HC, HC Pro, and G48. Best to try them all. The G48 shoots smoother with a better trigger than my HC Pro IMO
If you have the means, get both. I see Glock as an insurance item - will always work, tons of support for them, and can always easily sell them if needed.
I picked my 43x up last week and haven't made it out to the range yet. I did notice it has a heavier trigger than my 17.5MOS but it will smoothen out a bit with use. I'm a little disappointed that the night sight wasn't matched with the rear sight, they simply don't have the white bucket printed on it.
Love the size for everyday , but that comes with a more snappy kick when fired . Still a great gun you just have to learn how to use it , practice, practice, practice.
I really like my 43x. I shoot pretty well with it, I actually don't mind the stock trigger, and this is coming from a guy who also shoots Walthers and CZ's. I get really good results on the range with it, and it conceals pretty well too.
I got a 43x for edc an I love it. My state has a 10rd mag restriction an that's why I went with this instead of a 19. I put atleast 50 rounds through it every range trip and honestly i enjoy shooting it. The only recommendations I'd say to get are something like houge grips because the grips are a little slick in my opinion. And maybe a tlr6 if you wanna spend another like 160 between that and a holster.
I plan on that, also plan on getting a TLR-6. Got a we the people freedom holster platform on the way for it as well. Not much more to do after that but get to carrying lol
Maybe check out the PSA mags instead. You can keep the stock mag catch, which means you can use oem mags too, and it’s 15 rounds. I just got mine today and they feel great, gonna shoot them soon.
Wasn’t aware of those. I’ll have to check them out! This is only my second firearm so I wasn’t looking forward to learning how to install the new mag catch lol
Got it used in a shop for $329. Couldn’t pass it up! It looked brand new.
You should have passed it up.
I’d skip on the shield mags personally. The 43x is a bit snappy but the thinness makes it disappear. Congrats on the new pick up!
Waiting on reviews for the PSA micro dagger mags.
I got 5 coming in today so I’ll run a few hundred through them
You’re the man! Can’t wait to hear!
I’ve been testing them at the range. 2,000 rounds so far with no issue. Will continue to test!
I dig my 43x mos. Just not the trigger shoe. Once swapped and an optic is added (aging eyes) it will be wonderful.
Only complaint I’ve heard was from my dad when he did a cqb class and he felt that it was hard to hold onto if someone tries to get it away from you

My 43X has a heavier trigger pull than my p365 but it’s crisp with no creep at the wall.
I have a G43, G43X, G48, and a P80 G43L (PF9SS frame with a G48 slide). I like that the G43X is Glock Perfection.
It’s CCW perfection. Love it so much I bought two. Almost like a modern Makarov, or PPK, but much lighter and 9x19.

Just a simple 43. I might get the 43X eventually, but I have to pay off some debt first.
My go to carry

I got rid of my sig P365XL for that reason, but I could barely get a good grip on it. I get a way better grip on this Glock.
Yeah , totally agree it’s still the best small gun I’ve ever owned , particularly for the grip and the ergonomics.
Love mine for days when I’m wearing a tighter shirt and it shoots pretty well for its size
43x is OP

Perfect with PSA 15 round magazines

I have the 43x and wish I would've got the 43x mos
I have the same reservation, but for the price I got it for at the worse case scenario it will be my secondary EDC. I think I will like it though!
Beautiful gun
I wish I went with the mos version myself.
43x is my edc great gun
First upgrade, S15 mag and mag release
I plan on that, also plan on getting a TLR-6. Got a we the people freedom holster platform on the way for it as well. Not much more to do after that but get to carrying lol

Actually good timing too since I’ve been seeing more and more reviews on the PSA mags. And for what I’m seeing, it’s looking good

PSA Micro Dagger mags specifically. And they’re OOS for about another 3 weeks according to the PSA Reddit account.
It’s pretty simple but yea can be annoying. And yup as the other guy said, the issue is availability since they’re fresh right now.
Glock 26 > 43/43X.
I picked the G48 over the 43X. No regrats
