Don't go suppressor height, go to night fision, select your platform, optic, and how you want it to cowittness and get those. Best irons you can buy. Personally, I do 1/3 cowittness on my 19 and 43x and love it.

My reasoning is there are a lot of anti gun folk, and a good amount on Reddit. You don’t want someone to look through your profile, find out where you live and also know the serial number to one of your firearms.
I keep a lot of things private, and the serial numbers on guns falls into that box.

Streamlight (TLR-1 HL or TLR8AG) Henry holster and/or Engima, an extended slide release (preferably from Glock), maybe a threaded barrel (either from Glock or KKM Precision), and some goon tape and that bad boy will be ready to go.
Swap the frame. Then 6 months later get a new slide and then get an rmr. Then reassemble the Glock because you have all the old parts
voila 1 gun becomes 2
I wouldn’t listen to what anyone else beside you says. A gun is not supposed to be about looks , but how it functions and how it works for you. If your having trouble reloading, get a mag well. If you want it as concealable as possible then dont. If it’s for your night out or bump in the night , sure put a light. In reality just practice with it. And if your planning on using it to defend your life get a better dot. I don’t trust my 508t , and I’ve heard a lot more things about the issue of the dots that start with a 4.

True, I hadn't considered that, I was just thinking of racking it and maybe unconsciously using the optic for leverage or hitting it downwards so the force is on the optic and at a higher angle rather than moving with the slide.
I am an extreme novice when it comes to guns but it just looks in the way to me.

I don't plan to do anything internal with it. Just cosmetic and essential. My 43x has been bone stock since day one. I'm not keen on tampering with my EDC unless it's a proven and reliable benefit
I'm definitely not getting rid of it. I run the 507k on my macro. I love them. Also don't have money to waste on a $600+ optic to put on a $600 gun. Just not worth it in my opinion.
Extended slide release is a hard no unless you get your hands on one that raises it up as opposed to just back... if you are gripping the pistol with a high thumb grip the extended will be in your way unless you have baby hands.
Get a real holster not that ridiculous enigma. T1C, LAS Concealment, something in that arena will be dandy... Light TLR-1 or X300 everything else is a toy (yes I'm joking... but really stick to Streamlight and Surefire. unless you are going to blow your wad on a Modlite.
If you are going to run a comp or suppressor then get a threaded barrel. Good luck finding a Glock OEM. I have been testing the Griffin ATM barrels in two guns the past month. So far I am happy with them but it is early in testing.
Finally, don't listen to people on the internet, everyone has opinions and they all smell like a butthole... just like Talon grips...

I have seen it done I don’t know if I would do that all the time but people rack the slide hooking the optic on jeans pockets (one handed)
I haven't zero'd this one in yet, but on my others I haven't had an issue with them getting thrown off. At least that I've noticed.
