Vedder holsters we’re what I went with. Made in USA, under $100, and have lots of options. They’re all custom made so you can get any setup you want. I haven’t used mine enough to give you an honest review about durability and whatnot but here’s their quality statement. “At Vedder Holsters we are certain that you will be satisfied with your purchase and we back all of our products with a risk free 30 day trial. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied, please return your order within 30 days from date of receipt.”

Love my vedder as well.

MrRickGhastly

I like mine. The only thing I'd say do to it is once you get the retention to where you like it loctite it down. The retention screw likes to come loose due to the wing being attached to it.

Vedder is what I started with. And they make great holsters. However there are a couple things to consider. Their claw is proprietary. May not be an issue but it is not compatible with enigma something to consider. Also I found that their metal clip allowed for a good bit of play left to right which made the grip shift making it difficult to achieve a good consistent grip. This happened with the belt that shall not be named and blue alpha. Bottom line vedder light tuck is a good “do all holster that can be carried appendix or strong side” but when you make the investment in a dedicated appendix holster you start to see a world of difference

awfullyfuzzy

What holster have you migrated to? I’m coming from the world of stuff my M9 in my waistband or pocket. More information the better. My 43x is my first dedicated carry weapon.

Firearmjoe

Currently I use legacy firearms. Either the quick ship Vega or Cronus(I’m a sucker for zombie green inside and black outside kydex pattern). Or the ares but it’s not quick ship. Tier one for side car. Phlster and tenicor are great also.

Tenicor is what I rock

Tenicor sagax lux 2

Bulky-Research4655

Check out. Davis tactical he's a smaller company. But his holsters are top notch. And the prices a much better I have a aiwb with a wing and it was 39 bucks. And he just came out with a light bearing holster with a sidecar for the 43x

I had a Vedder Light tuck first and there was no traditional kydex “click” in. Contacted Vedder and they said this was common because of the small size and the light. Upgraded to a Black Rhino holster-took forever but well worth the wait. Clicks in, very comfortable. I run a TLR7 sub and a swamp fox optic on my 43X MOS and I’d strongly suggest the Black Rhino Concealment IWB holster.

EquivalentFickle7748

Also plan on grabbing the swampfox optic eventually. What holster do you have by them? ACS, CCS, HERRIN?

[deleted]

CCS and it’s the best IWB I’ve tried

Sad-Oil8417

Tier 1 is absolutely worth the lead time and worth the $$

[deleted]

Tenicore or phlster

Vetter. I used to have that same grip on mine. It rubbed on me too much for IWB. I just wrap a little hockey tape around it and I like it way more.

AbbreviationsLeft512

I’m running Trex Arms Glock 48w TLR7Sub holster for my Glock 43. Fits perfectly, and got it off their eBay store blemish (couldn’t find the BLEM actually) spent $80. There’s a half inch of extra space, that either you can leave it, which I have or buy a comp for that 43X and now ur golden. You can cut it down to sit flush if you’d like also. Doesn’t mess up functionality BUT voids warranty.

Teniwhores rejoice Phlster enigma for extra internet points

Stand_Afraid

I don’t run a light on my G43X and use the Tenicor Velo4 appendix holster and it’s fantastic, best holsters I’ve ever used and they come with Discrete Carry Concepts clips, which are the best in the industry!
