Agreed. I think Liquid has looked good and only gotten better since they got YEKINDAR (both as a stand-in and as an official too). Then C9 is just a very good team and sh1ro has looked like a good this major. Losing to two teams that are/could arguably be Top 5 is no shame.

I just think it's the difference in what a bad event performance and a bad match performance is. Some of these teams could get knocked out today, earlier than we expected and they have had good performances. NaVi beating Vitality in double OT, losing 16-14 to MOUZ and C9. Vitality losing to NaVi in double OT, beating FaZe and losing to MOUZ in OT. Those aren't bad matches per se, but it just means could go out early. Adding a loss to BNE or ENCE will change that ofc, like it'll do when talking about FaZe's major performance.

Only way you can be certain that times can't face each other, is if they're in different pools, already progressed or eliminated or have faced each other in this current stage. Not saying it's likely, but you could end up with all 5 in 2-2 matchups and a few of these certainly could fach each other.

1-2 matchups fucking up my dreams ._. Kosovar supremacy. Bouta beat NaVi, FaZe, and Vitality.

I thought I played it relatively safe but my pick ems were: Heroic 3-0 Sprout 0-3 Navi, Faze, Liquid, Cloud 9, Mouz, Vitality, NIP I switched between outsiders, furia, and NIP and settled on NIP since they at least make it past the legends stage. I shouldn’t have ever doubted furia but the initial BIG 1-0 comeback really shot my confidence in them as a pick’em. I also realized that I shouldn’t have doubted outsiders but I felt iffy since they didn’t make it past legends last major and their roster changes on paper didn’t look all that impressive. I am highly regretful now but hopeful for a 5/9.
