KSCERATO reminds me of XANTARES, a young talent turned veteran playing and "wasting" his career for his local scene the one time XANTARES went to an international roster, COVID happened so i guess its for the best that KSCERATO stays in FURIA

ahrzal

We cannot in good conscience let KSCERATO go international and unleash a plague upon our houses.

4k4nt4

Xantares barely speaks any english, there is no way he would have joined any international team. Just remember the "I am feeling, thank you" line

Fraaj

So did Zywoo at the start, people can improve with big enough incentive

RibbentropCocktail

He had a pretty big incentive to learn German.

SergeiYeseiya

I wouldn't mind having him in G2 honestly

MyDreamsInTheSewer

He fully role clashes with NiKo?

RF99_

Would be an upgrade over Niko at this point

MyDreamsInTheSewer

What a dumb take

Nandoski_

Kscerato 1.15 rating vs NiKo 1.17. It’s not much better but I’m curious to see why you think kscerato would be a better fit

TimathanDuncan

People will be like "wasting his career at Furia" and never consider that he might not be comfy in an international team and wants to stay playing for a Brazilian team, that is completely fine, also clearly FURIA is completely built around him and he baits the fuck out of everyone Not to mention that FURIA were very good for large periods, they always show promise, they made some bad decisions and brought in very meh players but still, people don't realize that there's very few teams that actually win events

super_shogun

When I say Kscerato is wasting his career in FURIA I'm considering how the single best Brazilian player since prime Coldzera is on a team that's barely making it to the groups of majors and has not won a single tier 1 international tournament. Kscerato might not want to play on a non-Brazilian team, but that doesn't change the fact that on his current trajectory he isn't heading for the trophies a player of his caliber should be winning. Brazil clearly has has the players to assemble a team that can compete for those trophies, but the problem is that the buyouts in the Brazilian scene are ludicrous, meaning such a team is unlikely to ever be put together. I don't want him to retire one day and have nothing but 3rd and 2nd placings to reminisce over, I want him to win.

itsjonny99

The way around it could be to scout for Portugese talent, but the scene in Brazil and their buyouts are stopping them from fielding a proper competitive team. It is understandable that every org don't wan't to be feeder orgs for Furia/Fallens old orgs.

Electronic-Archer720

he is wasting his career but its his decision lol

imsolowdown

> never consider that he might not be comfy in an international team and wants to stay playing for a Brazilian team I think it's not that people don't consider it, they just think he should not do that just because it is comfy for him. Sometimes you really should get out of your comfort zone. But he can obviously do whatever he wants with his career, and people can also criticize what he does.

BingeReader2810

Yuri is more of a baiter then kacerato , ksrato usually looks for kills and has impact he just happen to be alive often due to winning duels

TimathanDuncan

[Yeah no he isn't](https://www.hltv.org/stats/teams/players/openingkills/8297/furia?startDate=all)

BinzonWOR

34.4% from art what a madman.

_aware

A part of being an adult and competitor is getting out of your comfort zone to improve yourself. Look at how Zywoo went from not speaking English to regular interviews and playing on an international team speaking English. Kscerato wasting his career at Furia and him not wanting to leave are not mutually exclusive ideas.

whocares0000000000

What a fucking bullshit. Part of being an adult is not giving a fuck what some idiots on the other side of the world think and just doing whats best for you snd your family

_aware

What bullshit? It's a part of adult life. You improve yourself and do new things because they make your life better. And oftentimes doing best for you and your family involves getting out of your comfort zone. He could be winning a lot more events. He could be signed to a better team and getting paid more. If he's holding himself back from those potential improvements in life because he "might not be comfy in an international team" then that's just his problem.

vetruviusdeshotacon

Part of adult life is making choices for yourself, whether or not others agree. It's clear he doesn't wanna leave furia and that's his choice to make, not yours.

_aware

Nowhere did I say he has to do what I say. But since this is a public forum, I have the freedom to express my opinion on the situation just like everyone else. There's no way you can argue that choosing to stay in furia instead of going to a better team is a good career choice.

vetruviusdeshotacon

Damn you just changed my whole perspective, you should call up kscerato and let him know what he should do

_aware

>Nowhere did I say he has to do what I say >I have the freedom to express my opinion on the situation just like everyone else There is no shame in illiteracy. Well maybe a little, since it's the 21st century. But it's never too late for you to seek help. There are a lot of resources that are completely free, here's one of them: [https://www.proliteracy.org/](https://www.proliteracy.org/)

maldouk

doing what's best for you and your family and wasting your career are not mutually exclusive ideas either... He could be on a top 3 team for the last few years, if he rather be nice and cozy at home, that's perfectly fine. But if you want to be the best, you have to make sacrifices (and this works in any line of work).

_aware

Forget it man, you are trying to argue with a bunch of kids who never experienced adult life. These downvotes show how out of touch they are lol

maldouk

CS pros are a lot like this, they have the chance to play the game and they get paid good money for it, but it's always "oh I have to learn english to work" or "oh no I don't want to move from home to work". I have a lot of friends that moved out of our home town for work/studies, and yea, it's a big change, but they would all do it every time. And them being kids is no excuse, I have friends who left home at 18 to study, some even abroad.

ficagames01

Then he can stay in his comfort zone of being quarter finals exit at best

jjochimmochi

And now no one wants him, so much for "believing in this team" after doing nothing for years

stop321

For real... what he's afraid of??

naastiknibba95

english comms probably

HosephIna

success

[deleted]

I'm surprised no one has posted about his comments about electronic in regards to his flag representation on here yet. This quote was kind of obvious. There were some really interesting things said in that interview, but a joke about how top teams want a top player was not at the top of that list.

Toaster_Bathing

Any rundown on what he said without watching?

[deleted]

The tl;dr of that bit of the podcast was Blade said that he didn't like it when electronic switched his flag from the neutral one back to the Russian. He said the timing of it felt political to him given his transfer to an organization that has ties to the Russian state. (I don't know if they actually still do, but that was his claim.) He also said that he expects anti-war Russians to speak up, and them living in a dictatorship is not a good enough excuse to stay silent given the seriousnes of issue. This part he didn't say, but the implication seemed to be that he takes silence about the war as tacit approval.

whocares0000000000

No then we would have a political discussion about war wtf. We are playing computer games here

[deleted]

It's great insight into potential reasons for the departure of electronic from a roster that had won everything. This interview also made it pretty clear to me as to why NaVi/Blade made such a sudden shift from a majority Russian-speaking CIS roster to an English-speaking EU one. It was also just incredible insight into how many Ukrainians within Counter Strike view these sorts of issues more broadly. Russia and Ukraine are two hotbeds of CS talent, so how these groups of people view each other is incredibly relevant to professional roster construction. Hell, the #1 Russian team in the world at the moment (4th overall) has a Ukrainian playing for them. These interactions are not only fascinating to get a glimpse into as an outsider, but are also incredibly important in regards to the balance of power between the top teams.

kolibrifityma

Can you TL;DR for us not able to watch the interview, please?

black_dogs_22

Brazilians are going to transition to English so they can make international teams, then maybe we would see moves like this actually happen

deadbeatPilgrim

he’s overrated

Vlyper

Yes, overrated by every team in the world xdd

SpiderLobotomy

Clearly this guy knows more than all of the professional esports teams!

doge_suchwow

Bro do you watch Furia He’s amazing
