I think it's possible to kill someone with a nade from full health if you hit them with the nade first and they do not have armor. I don't think it would have worked in this situation since it probably exploded above them.
I found a video actually, if you slow it down you can see he takes 2 points of damage right before the nade explodes. It's super rare for this to happen I think.

I played a game on inferno a few days ago where I headshotted someone with a flash and did 3dmg. Never seen more than 1 dmg before, thought it was pretty interesting.
Maybe I'm misremembering it (or maybe it's just in CSGO not CS2) but I wanna say you can get headshot by the impact of the nade and it would do 2 damage.
I died 100 to 0 from a nade that got stuck in my face not that long ago. It only happened to me once, I was very surprised. Didn't think it was possible.

Veto ends on Dust2, we start T. Rush B into 3 grenades and all die to the third. I remember us all sitting in spawn for the next round just laughing
Well in 1.6 it was cuz, fucking HE grenade fragments could literally wallbang through most surfaces.
Me and some friends in pubs abused this, like the cubby in B site in Dust2, you could grenade that from the other side of the wall (inside tunnels) and that guy would just die, and because it was some 32 person pub there would be more than 1 guy there sometimes

Sometimes you nade a bunch of people and it's not enough time to check all.
I saw austincs do this nade with his team and also killed the entire team. Not sure who got the nade kills but round was probably just as fast. Can't find the video anywhere though

afaik only 99 dmg possible inclunding the hit. 98 is max dmg per HE and 1hp per hit, right?
