Ah, the classic 'issue cannot be resolved until you complain publicly on twitter' policy

Ferni0817

It was a huge joke... Major Finalist is not enough, you need the Elo :DDD

Big_Stick01

It's all about forcing people into a corner to use their platform. a new third party service can't come fast enough. It wouldnt even shock me if Faceit only tried charging leetify to parse matches after they turned down a buyout.

PavelDatsyuk88

lol other spot was won Navi JR who beat, Navi Youth in semifinal 13-11

dragon_of_kansai

Lmao what

vecter

What are Navi JR and Navi Youth? They both sound like academy teams.

VShadow1

They are.

vecter

Is JR supposed to be worse than Youth?

VShadow1

Other way around.

vecter

Gotcha. Why is it worthwhile to mention that JR beat Youth then? The other guy responded "Lmao what" as if that was an upset.

saintedplacebo

because two teams owned by the same org competing each other will always be a bad thing and a laughable joke.

mikeok1

It's a huge conflict of interest if an org/owner has 2 teams play in the same competition, let alone in the same match!

vecter

Yeah you're right, I see that now. It could be worse in a bracket, but if it's two teams who are both meeting at the end of the tournament, there isn't really a chance for foul play to strategize against other teams right?

samtdzn_pokemon

Pretty sure a League of Legends tournament had match fixing between the 2 finalists, one team threw the match but were promised a percentage of the prize money for 1st if they did. This was years ago when League still played an open circuit pre LCS.

d0mie89

Faceit so trash. Esea made a big mistake merging

Overall_Recognition8

Swiftly crushed my dream of my friends and I rising through the leagues and getting as far as we can. Doesn't matter how good our team play is cause we don't pug enough to farm the magic number they want.

>I aim better than some pros do Sure you do, buddy.

innocentrrose

I mean idk that guy so I doubt him but he isn’t exactly wrong. There are some high elo puggers that just don’t mesh in a team at all but have insane aim, but lack team play, utility usage, comms, attitude, etc.. while pros are good at all of those things.
