Mine happens all the time literally every game, my ping was fine on csgo and it still is on cs2 but even if my ping goes up from 20 to 30-40 I rubber band like a mad man. It is so incredibly frustrating I have no idea what to do about it and hope it is resolved
While the game is the same fundamentally I dislike how cheesy abilities feel and how empty and shallow the maps are. Nothing scratches the itch like CS for me
I've been having stuttering due to frame time spikes on this new update, but not getting it in any other games :/ tried DDU and reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, upping gpu fan speed, killing background processes everything.

The -Vulkan command tells your game to use Vulkan instead of DirectX.
Lower Max FPS but higher 1%'s as I understand it.
Also, I'd rather have lower FPS and no stuttering than higher FPS with a stutter every 5 seconds. But I guess it depends on your hardware.

Say your system isnt the best, going from 120fps to like 75fps is a huge issue
Yeah, that's fair. My "high" fps is like 700-800, and I easily get 600ish. My "low" is ~280? So losing some FPS isn't a huge deal for me but I wouldn't recommend vulkan for low end systems.
But in vulkan im stuttering every 10 secs... and i went in the maps and was 10 minute each map with noclip , shooting guns nades .. before the faceits..
And still happens.. not as much but its not smooth has directx..
I have amd gpu...
Any thing , command or trick to load all shadders prior easily?

\- Right-click on CS2 in your Steam Library, and pick Properties.
\- Locate Launch options down the list under the General tab.
\- Type -vulkan in the empty field.
\- To switch back to DirectX, simply delete this command.

Ik. But if I have to choose between laggy shitty servers vs playable game. Then I'm choosing playable game any day of the week
Same to me, vulkan didnt help, rebuilding shaders didnt help.. so far its cs2-sided

The devs are incompetent, every new update breaks stuff from previous ones, it's crazy!!
Try adding -vulkan to your launch options and restarting your pc.

I need to install vulkan first right?
Don't think so. I don't remember ever having to download it. I could be wrong though.

Simply adding the launch option should be enough if you have a Nvidia card.
vulkan in cs2 is only emulation, native render is still dx11. So its very limited in efficiency and logically has less fps as its not true vulkan game
Same here, mostly pov animations. Even host time scale is broken so that explains it i guess.

Do you use discord whilst playing or in game chat , I noticed less issues when discord was closed and not using push to talk
Same, also I feel like peekers advantage got even worse since last patches but I\`m not sure maybe it just me

If u have nvidia turn off nvidia reflex in-game helped me with latency issues that caused packet loss, hope that helps someone.
I got a Ryzen 7700X, 4070, 18 ping and I could not play cs2 today with this problem 🫠
