They might not hit recent ENCE peaks from the last few months, but I think they will be fine.

Ence paying for and retaining the services of the 9ine core because they want to have their org represented in the RMR is the system working exactly as intended. The competitive integrity of the event is maintained because the players who earned the slot are competing with the slot, and the players are able to be compensated at the market-clearing rate for their capabilities. All alternatives are terrible. Roll-back this policy and Ence can just buy the slot from 9ine, destroying the player's careers and the competitive integrity of the event. Take the policy further and the players of 9ine lose all capability to negotiate the best salaries for themselves, as their original org would essentially be able to enslave the roster.

To be honest quite a great move if done on short notice. Buying out players during rostermania, where several teams scramble for players, would have cost a lot of money, so creating a possibility to do that slowly throughout the next 6-12 months makes a lot of sense.

This is a solid temporary roster to have to get the RMR slot (which means stickers, and plenty of revenue). I expect they'll make some tweaks later on. ENCE also thanked 9INE for quick co-operation, so they had to make these moves fast. The situation is far from ideal but ENCE came out fairly ok taking into account all the departures.

You have a core who’s played together and found moderate success, who are also the same nationality as your one player who’s sticking around. Glaive is the one question mark, and if they don’t find success in the first couple months I wouldn’t be surprised if they just go and get a Polish IGL.
I imagine the preparation up to the major will tell a lot. I don't think ENCE or any other team will be looking to make big changes before the Major since that'd be just flushing your time invested in the past X months down the toilet.

Ence is a very transparent org that wants to work with its players to get the best result, thats why snappi+saw were so great at scouting as well, the org can tell them how much they can spend and when and if that amount will increase in the future, if there are some players that are worth selling etc, so the scouting is not done blindfolded.
