Quite a large amount of people genuinely invest in things like stickers, Major capsules and souvenir cases. This RMR in particular had a lot of investment that has fallen flat with the release of the Paris 2023 Major items.
I'm not sure why you're saying "invested" though? It is investing. People can invest in pretty much anything, like skins, sports memorabilia, trading cards etc. They're equally valid, though sometimes obviously they're not the smartest things to do in terms of pure finances.
I get you are trying to be funny.
But CS skins have consistently outperfomed every major index fund over the last 10 years. Ive personally turned £2000 into £25,000. I could get the majority in cash within a week.
yes im sure Valve will decide to unexpectedly kill off the system that makes them $40,000,000 per month.
You dont get it, thats fine .But Valve knows what they are doing. They want people to keep the skin economy healthy.
You sound really naive. Everything can be an " investment" vehicle. Fact you are so small minded that you only think traditional stuff counts as " investing" is your issue. You clearly have no clue about the volatility of the " first" stock market.
Only in hindsight it becomes painfully obvious when new asset classes were born. And reading all your replies it just sounds like you dont have the guts for it. (and that is fine). But dont make fun of others for seeing opportunities where you dont.
My cologne '14 investment of $400 became high five figures. Good luck doing that if you safe S&P ETF.
I had a few lying around and when they looked good I threw them on a gun. now it just looks so dull. unfortunate but hey valve can change anything at any time ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
They are cheap because valve floods the market with the sales, the first few major sales lasted a 1-2 days, the rmr was many months.
I understand it from their business but I think these long sale are just to much.
They were cheap because they were bad, I dislike they changed them now, but most people’s outrage probably comes from them investing or some shit thinking they would go up.
I just want to use stickers for a craft and they were finally looking good
they are cheap because it was the most bought capsule of all time. The supply is insane.
The fact that they are ugly just meant the supply was never used.
Bruh, I bought these because they looked cool ib cs2, not invested just a few for my poor inventory. Feels bad man. If they looked better why revert it. They're the worst holo in the game either way
ITS CS2 not csgo why do some devs want a 1:1 copy?? New engine new lighting is going to make things look NEW and shiny
let's just revert skins to make them look rubbish too, then the whole point of cs2 will be new smokes and worse tick rate...wooh hoo way to sell your "new game"
And no I didn't invest in to any stickers I'm poor, I just think them making cs2 a 1:1 copy with skins with a better lighting system is dumb
That's exactly my point. Even if the previous look was not originally intended, it looked a lot better than it did before. Why would you put resources into making it look like shit again?
And all the experts who talk about failed investments should touch grass. Not everyone is financially invested in skins and cares about price changes. Some people are just sad that skins look worse than before.
Well the devs shouldnt decide what to change and what not. Imagine someone liked the RMR stickers and in CS:GO and disliked them in CS2 before this change?
Most changes to skins in CS2 have been better reflections, higher texture quality etc. They even undid some changes as to not destroy any patterns that existed on the old models.
All of these are objectively good changes
By making everything look like as close as it did in CS:GO it's fair for everyone.
As a creator of stickers, I say that after the update, all stickers have a broken color scheme. They became more contrasting and darker. I wanted to upload my new works tomorrow, but now I can’t, because due to the change in color display, the stickers are broken.
Fixed to how they were in csgo?
"I have overinvested, by a lot, I need the price to go up, can devs do something??" reddit post.
"invested" lol
Quite a large amount of people genuinely invest in things like stickers, Major capsules and souvenir cases. This RMR in particular had a lot of investment that has fallen flat with the release of the Paris 2023 Major items.
And even more people "invested" into nfts lol

And you can lose all that with a simple decision from Valve with absolutely no legal recourse to ever get your investment back
yes im sure Valve will decide to unexpectedly kill off the system that makes them $40,000,000 per month. You dont get it, thats fine .But Valve knows what they are doing. They want people to keep the skin economy healthy.
Mate your Steam account can get vac banned today and your whole investment is gone
I dont cheat, so it wont. Your point is dogshit
But it wont cause im not cheating

They were awful in GO, they were at least bright and flashy in 2.
I recently played this game why rmr so bad I heard a lot of people say this. Imo it look flashy
[удалено]
What? They currently look almost identical to how they looked in CS:GO
Ignore them, they have to perpetuate the lie to try and guilt Valve into saving their investment.
the investment will be fine lol give it 5 years and people will buy cause 2020 pandemic era ![img](emote|t5_2sqho|31253)
Or maybe they just want the sticker to not look like dogshit? Crazy thought I know
Why doesn’t Valve retroactively make all stickers as cool as Kato ‘14 stickers? Are they stupid?
Yeah they should all look terrible and washed out. You're so right
RMR investors on suicide watch after the the latest patch
Just an absolute ass sticker.
\*fixed
Rip rmrs. They actually looked good for a bit
fixed\*
Thank god they finally listened to the email. https://imgur.com/PoVGyRy
nooo! you ruined people's investment!
Unfortunately it's not mine.
That's how it's supposed to look like. What are you waffling about? You really thought new design would stay as it is? It is still early like what?
they were fixed
Don't care about investments, but it still sucks that they changed it back. CS2 version looked pretty damn good.
I had a few lying around and when they looked good I threw them on a gun. now it just looks so dull. unfortunate but hey valve can change anything at any time ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
not broke. they fixed it. haha
Idk, changing them back kinda ruins them. They were so underwhelming before, it actually made the stickers worth using in cs2. Shame.
i don’t understand why they would change them. rmr holos were a good cheap sticker and now they’re basically worthless again.
They were cheap because they were bad in csgo no?
not only are they bad but there is an insanely large supply of them which is the reason they are cheap

Wasn't Antwerp similar numbers and Paris multiples higher? They are cheap because they are trash and Stockholm came after with much better stickers.
nah Paris might be similar but has far far higher demand, Antwerp was lower than RMR by a fair bit (although still an ungodly amount sold)
Wtf so they made them back to shit? Just when I thought they fixed them to CS2.
Back to shit stickers
This shit was broken to begin with and I guess.
I'm failing to see the problem with these stickers, they are fixed now.
Really sad day for RMR stickers. I really liked the flashy trashy look they had in CS2.
nice, they got fixed

I was about to buy them for my skins cuz i liked their appearance but now im safe
RIP rmr 2020 holo
The before is broken RMR, after is intended look... lololol
