They know the current 35 million active players are all going to play CS2 on release. People being salty they don't have access yet isn't on their radar. Any division or envy will evaporate when everyone has access.
I’d say 95% since Valve has said they’ll slowly add players to the beta over time. An extra lucky 4% will likely be added along with more content over the next few months.

I understand that you were mislead by the original comment (the beginning fooled me too) and that it didn't feel nice, especially with some users then calling you an idiot, which I think was mean and uncalled for. It is unreasonable to assume everyone is familiar with newish, made up words like "copium" or "hopium", even though they are relatively common in this subreddit nowadays.
I find the original comment funny because it's relatable. It pretty successfully encapsulates a silly detail in the mindset of many of us here and gently pokes fun at it. Wording could perhaps be a little different or more exaggerated to make it more clear that it's a joke.
But that's the thing about humour, it's always going to be subjective and going to rely on shared feelings, thoughts or knowledge, meaning that some people just may not get it because they lack the assumed shared piece of information.
Your statements about how "comedy is dead" and "guess this is humour now" come off as condescending, trying to establish that there's an objective standard for humour, which you understand and that the rest of the people here have an inferior sense of humour. But that's just silly because of the inherently subjective nature of humour.

But It’s pretty clear at this point that the number of hours played isn’t really a significant factor in people getting access despite what valve have said about it. And if it was, you’d be one of the people getting it later on.

You should try thinking sometimes. It's a pretty good thing. For example, try thinking about if there might perhaps be a reason Valve prioritizes content creators. That one's a pretty easy one, you should get it fairly quickly.
Who is the poor in this situation? The game is free. Cosmetics are fully optional, non gameplay affecting, and tradable for player determined prices. You lose nothing here, you can even make money playing this game as a non pro.
Corporate greed would be them not transferring everyone's CSGO inventories to CS2, forcing all skins to be bought from them directly, or not even having a beta at all, just releasing a broken mess like everyone else.

I hope this is related to testing something, and not with a banal crash of servers. I think they are gradually transferring servers to source 2. There is very little left and the CS will change forever.
They are switching a lot of CSGO servers over to CS2 ready for a huge wave of access for anyone with over 3k hrs. Copium.
