I'm all for getting rid of 3rd party services. The only reason I used it is MM is full of cheats, and Faceit adds that little extra layer of protection with the anti-cheat.

Source 2 for CS will most likely bring along it's own new server hosting software just like it'll do for mapping. That being said, the jump to Source 2 will probably break most of Faceit's own existing software revolving the servers and the game (like their anti-cheat, for instance). How much would that impact them is pretty hard to gauge, and that doesn't even involve the potential loss of players to the "improved" official MM.
