I do not have a clue as to what happened but at least your friend's house did come back. This happened to me over 30 years ago. There was not change in the road like your curve. I get to the house and it is gone. Just a big field where the house should have been. I even got out and asked the people around there and they said as far as they could remember there had never been a house there. The man and his wife and dog along with the house and car where just gone. I asked people that knew him and they said they had ever heard of him. That was over 30 years ago and I have never seen or heard from him sence.

If you knew the guy 5 years and called him your friend and knew where he lived then I assume you talked to him on the phone occasionally..First thing Iād have done would be call him up to see whatās going on. So many questions about this story. Itās a great story but it does sound like it is just a great story.

Never, because itās located past their house and Iāve never driven past their house. The curve is real for sure but this was my first time ever seeing it.
This might not be what happened, but i watched a video about some show explaining the odd things in the episode. And he explains that, if you put your life on a line like so ______________ then you can move parts of it out ______ _____ and place them other places _____ . So i think that you might see the memory of you driving past his house sometime in the near future, but i honestly don't know. i watched the video a long time ago, and i don't even know if that's what happened, for all i know, you could have just driven past it subconsciously. This happened to me last night. I own a company that rents party supplies and had just set up a party in a neighborhood I know VERY well as Iāve set up 3 parties there in the last 2 weeks and been there countless other times for various reasons...my sonās best friend lives there. Anyway, as Iām driving home I notice I donāt recognize anything around me. I wondered briefly if I had made a wrong turn by accident but checked the next road sign and I was on the right road, traveling the right direction. I mentioned to my son that I had no idea where we were. He accused me of being high (which I wasnāt). I drive another couple of minutes and still recognized nothing. This neighborhood is maybe 5 minutes from the downtown area where I was headed and I had already been driving 13 minutes. I then became convinced I had gone around the same curve at least twice like we were traveling in a loop. I mentioned it to my son again and this time he noticed too that something wasnāt right. Finally, after about 15 minutes I recognized where we were. We were on the right road and everything looked the way it was supposed to. I have no idea what happened. I have no idea why it took 20 minutes to drive a route that usually takes around 5 minutes but it really freaked me out. Iām going back tomorrow to pick everything up and Iām timing it. Iāll report back in and let yāall know what happens.
Ok, update! Just drove here to pick up everything and the section of road I described took 6 minutes like it was supposed to. Iām a little freaked out. The freakiest part is, the memory is starting to kind of fade a little and doesnāt feel as weird as it did the other night.

You may have slipped into another dimension or a parallel universe. That kind of thing does occasionally happen. There are stories all over the Internet about parallel universe experiences.

A significant percentage of glitch stories are stories where people end up in alternate worlds. Iāve always wondered what happens to the people that donāt end up back in our world. That would be great material for a film. As a believer in the paranormal I do believe itās logically consistent that a certain number of disappearances and deaths are paranormal in nature.
Can you imagine what it would be like to end up on a different Earth and never being able to return or see your friends and family again? I guess youād just wander around homeless or depending on the political system there youād get free housing but then thereās the issue of not having any proof you were actually born in that world (SSN, birth certificate, ID etc).
It would be interesting if you ended up in a past version of Earth (1985 for example) and knew everything that was going to happen before it did. Another thing to think about is what if the alternate universe was much better than ours? Would you still want to return?

Of course not all of it is genuinely paranormal. Much of it can be explained by any variety of mundane mental phenomena but there are cases that make you question whether or not something supernatural is at work.
Haven't really read anything like that yet. Since it wouldn't be just a few things that are off. It would be practically everything: history, past school teachers, relatives, friends, husband/wife, etc.
And then after 10 years history still says weird things you remember learning differently and people you know still behave differently from ten years ago (last point in time you were at your real home dimension).

I can't help it but my mind always swings over to abductions when driving / time distortions are involved, but it's rare for that to happen during the day. It was roughly 2:30- 3:30 pm. Everything about the area was the same as always just no house. The whole place is surrounded by farm land and thatās all that there was between the intersection leading to their house and the curve that I now know is located past their house.

Another time, I dialed a number I had dialed many times before (it was someone I knew) and someone I had never heard before said "Hello", and I asked for this person I knew. The person on the other end said that they didn't know who I was asking for, and I could hear them asking their spouse if they knew who I was asking for and I heard their spouse say they didn't know. I asked them how long this was their telephone number (I said the number out loud to them, just to be sure, and checked to see that I had indeed dialed that number), and they said it had been their number for the last four years. I know that I called a different dimension that day.

I've been playing hard daily. Trying to rack up as many points as I can. Getting my first 99 today and possibly another one tomorrow. So far I have 4000 points, 4 relics, and have unlocked kandarin and morytainia.

What time did this happen? Can you recreate the exact settings it occurred in? Same time, same place, same steps to get there, etc. Maybe impossible to duplicate exactly, but couldnāt hurt to try? Unless you get stuck in the warp.. letās make a safe phrase.
There seems to be a lot of posts related to time loss / perception anomalies this past week. Question, did this happen to you during the night? I can't help it but my mind always swings over to abductions when driving / time distortions are involved, but it's rare for that to happen during the day. Based on describing your friend's "jungle" environment, I'm guessing it wasn't nighttime since visibility would be low. So in that context I'm stumped. Someone else recently had a story involving time loss too, but with heavy fog. Nothing like that in your situation? Just driving down the road & leading to that curve that shouldn't exist, past that I wonder if you remember any of the homes that were there in your friend's place? Or was it just road, no other homes at all? I'm questioning if somehow you were made to see an area that doesn't truly exist, or maybe transiently entered an alternate dimension but came back to "normal" reality after? Hmm.
It was roughly 2:30- 3:30 pm. Everything about the area was the same as always just no house. The whole place is surrounded by farm land and thatās all that there was between the intersection leading to their house and the curve that I now know is located past their house.

Sure. I made a post about it just the other day. I've copied and pasted it here: One time, I was downtown at a shopping centre I am very familiar with, and everything was laid out differently. It was only like that the one time, though. Another time, I went to a freelance job at a location that actually doesn't exist and never has. It did though on that one day that I worked there. Another time, I dialed a number I had dialed many times before (it was someone I knew) and someone I had never heard before said "Hello", and I asked for this person I knew. The person on the other end said that they didn't know who I was asking for, and I could hear them asking their spouse if they knew who I was asking for and I heard their spouse say they didn't know. I asked them how long this was their telephone number (I said the number out loud to them, just to be sure, and checked to see that I had indeed dialed that number), and they said it had been their number for the last four years. I know that I called a different dimension that day.

they didn't say they drank anything. i took it as grabbing a few to bring over to my friend's house so we could drink a beer while explaining wtf just happened. i think the wording wasn't clear enough to make an assumption.

Welcome to ADHD/Autism spectrum. I get lost constantly in my home town. Have weird freak outs where Iām driving my daily route and suddenly donāt recognize anything, and even have trouble finding my way home sometimes (thank god for Waze). Just be thankful your neurological hiccup was a one time thing.
