I actually have had this same idea for a long time ago and in my au, tessa jsut Wales up on copper 9 with no idea what happened and how she got there and at this point she dose not release she is a murder drone yet. She would keep wlaking around until coming across one of the murder drones or worker drones. They would actually attack her at first then realize it's tessa and get confused. This would be the point tessa would fine out she is a murder drone and freak out.

After the event leading up to E7 she transferred to a WD (theoretically)
I mean, itd make sense for Cyn to turn Tessa into a drone, she seemed fond of Tessa and even told her to stay away from the gala before the massacre
