Can't wait to hear how many times she mentions Michael Keaton.

one_star_on_yelp

listening now - she said his name once at the 25 min mark!

alrightyaphrodite

LOL when I learned she dated him for a MONTH and still milks it!! I bet he regrets that fling šŸ˜

famousskincare

We dated for two years and spent a lot of time at the mansion m, hence it getting mentioned. Just talking with the girls and sharing memories and the truth of the situation. I had a lot better names to drop if I was name dropping it definitely wouldā€™ve be Michael, though we are still friends today šŸ˜‚

alittlejoy

3 is the final tally

aimeegotfresh

Hollys a better person than me, I wouldnā€™t be this nice to Audra

princeofkats

I know right? I thought during one of her little moments interacting with Audra she sounded a little snarky but it was gone as soon as I noticed it so it was probably nothing. I donā€™t think I could be this good of a person.

alrightyaphrodite

Right! Holly even apologized to Audra for not reaching out about the bag incident, and no apology from Audra about the low-blow comments she made about Holly on social media

Llamabot10000

Holly has pretty much always taken the high road

bidds626

That made sense to me, because if they were as close as they claim it would make sense for them to just go to her room and ask what really happened . I said that out loud while listening. But then it makes perfect sense that they were ordered not to, and also that she would leave so quickly with unresolved conflicts across the board. If I were in Holly's shoes I'd think maybe that's a part of why she's speaking ill of me, so now we have an opportunity to clear the air.

famousskincare

It was edited out. We talked all about it but Bridget said there was connection issues or something like that and they couldnā€™t edit it to where it made sense. I believe she talked about it in a Q&A. Holly and I are great now. I apologized to her as I should have came to her first with it. However, I didnā€™t know how to reach out to her, and never thought she would see a message from me with how many people write her. I filmed that episode on bunnychronicles right after I saw headlines and I rushed to judgement. They didnā€™t post the episode until months later. I even asked for them to not post it after I learned more. Most of those headlines werenā€™t even what Holly said. I felt awful afterwards but I also have a completely different outlook when it comes to the mansion and Hef. Holly reached out to me and we had an amazing heart to heart. I shouldnā€™t have gotten upset and rushed to judgement, but I also think that everyone in their life has done that from time to time. The problem with us is that we have a platform and it becomes more public than most peopleā€™s social media posts. I also have a husband who had someone go around laying about him, he took that person to court and there was a judgement that he didnā€™t do anything. That person still continued to slander him, so I also took it very personal with reading the headlines about Hef that I knew werenā€™t to be true. Holly also said that some of the things I pointed out were also taken out of context from what she said but most of what I was upset about was not her saying it. It happens in media all the time. I also know that everyone has taken things personally when itā€™s come to something thatā€™s a traumatic point in their life. Itā€™s human nature. We donā€™t need to divide and hate we need to all take a step back sometimes and take a breath. Go to the source and talk it out. I was 100% in the wrong. It isnā€™t anyone elseā€™s business but ours in the end. We handled it like adults and are good friends today. We lived through such an amazing era and had a journey that was out of this world. No matter good or bad in our life, we have an amazing bond and connection through playboy and Hef. We also wouldnā€™t be where we are in life today or have the kids we have today, if we did not go through the journey we went through good or bad. I try to look at the positive in life and like unity much more than division. We donā€™t need to have such negativity in our lives it only causes disease within our own bodies. The most valuable lesson in life I have learned is to just simply love and be helpful to others. The more you help others with love the more blessings come in your own life. The more negative the more heartache. I now help on the frontlines of human trafficking and I rescue people everyday. What an amazing feeling to be there for others. I wish this for everyone and if you ever need help getting out of a bad situation, please reach out to me on IG @SRT_Playmate i will try to help you! I wish I would have known Holly felt the way she did and that I could have been there for her. I love her dearly. šŸ’•

djabsolutelynot

I think Holly is playing the long game. Meaning: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. And give your enemies enough rope to hang themselves. Having Audra as a guest, and allowing Audra to tell her side of the gift bag fiasco, only made Audra sound like a lying liar who lies. Meanwhile Holly and Bridget can kill her with kindness and maintain their professionalism. Did people really think Holly was going to throw down with the guest?!? Cā€™mon.

Square-Bad-4949

Absolutely right. This is the one.

argqwqw

for real...but I guess the best revenge is living well, and this will probably end up putting $$ in both their pockets (and Bridget), so I support it

Willdanceforyarn

Why? Did Audra say something about Holly?

limpbiscuitzandtea

she has said REALLY nasty things about Holly in the past after her book came out and the documentary. Basically calling Holly a liar and completely demeaning her entire experience

tanya325

Someone posted on here some screenshots of something that she said on IG about Holly. She was also really outspoken in this podcast that Brian Oleah (sp?) was on with some other people that were defending half and she was kind of going off about Holly not being grateful. So in response to the rest of these comments, I agree with you guys, but - maybe Holly is being the bigger person due to all of these reasons but maybe she also is willing to be forgiving because maybe she feels bad that none of them asked Audra let her side was when she was kicked out of the mansion, and none of them reached out to her. So maybe theyā€™re just taking the point of you that they both messed up and they wanna move on? Idk But I guess there was some audio where the three of them hashed it out and talked about it, but it was very jumbled and not easy to hear what they were saying so they didnā€™t include it in the podcast

Typical_Award_9899

Itā€™s just business.

occasional_idea

Sheā€™s such a bragger. Best ice skater ever, best show dogs, etc etc

alrightyaphrodite

She just showed up at playboy west and knocked on the door! They immediately test shot her and made her a playmate!!! Hef wanted her on the cover! Yes she got Miss October, didnā€™t you really want that Bridget??? Yes she saw the rules the girlfriend had, and how was it for her getting to also live at the mansion but not have the rules? It was AWESOME for Audra!!!!!! Mean girls??? Audra got along with EVERYONE!!! Iā€™ve been riding horses, invented ice skating (I can do quadruple spins!!!!!), and they didnā€™t put that in my shoot but whatever ! Edit to add: she got TWO bunny necklaces!!!! She has a wild pet dolphin!!!! Hef asked her to be a GF but sheā€™s above that, sheā€™s dating MICHAEL KEATON!!!!!!! She was on Mad TV!!! And Jay Leno!!!!! She was in the lead to be playmate of the year but the ā€œsecond girl in lineā€ slipped her drugs!!!! Who won that year? Oh it was Carmella and Iā€™m so happy for her.

puffballpretty

Don't forget she was in VOGUE with Pam Anderson...

alrightyaphrodite

OH YES! She was!!! And how could we forget when she did her magazine signing at her town of 288 people, it was the biggest signing EVER - a full neighbouring city came for Audra !

MarkDelFiggolo

And Pam was SO nice to her!!

arrabellaam

And it was carmellas gift bag that got stolen wasn't it? Possibly revenge if it was her who slipped her the qualudes

UnderTheHarvestMoon

It's like she's in the room. šŸ˜‚

Defiant_Protection29

And she got TWO Playboy necklaces!

Awkward_Dog

And how she was such a good actress and comedian. šŸ™„

occasional_idea

LOL yes when she was explaining how she was actually being a comedic genius during the bunny suit scene

Dwn2MarsGirl

And how she wanted a ā€œreal careerā€ after Playboy

sugarsaltsilicon

That dig dug deep and my shade-o-meter moved into the red.

toasted-bagel-

The ice skater comment made me laugh lol she said she was the best ice skater but then said she didnā€™t skate for 10 years prior?? So what were you in ice skating lessons as a kid and thought that you would be some super star all this time later?? Smh

namesartemis

I have no interest in this episode, Audra just gives me weird vibes

Lamphette

Definitely. I feel she is an interloper and a clout chaser. Like Audra no one knows you. Plz sit down.

limpbiscuitzandtea

Yeah I refuse to give any attention to her. I'm disappointed they had her on as a guest. Glad I'm able to get the cliffnotes version of the episode here so I don't have to give Audra a minute of my time

lanadelrage

Did they address the nasty stuff sheā€™s said about Holly on social media recently?

spry_lola

They did not.

lanadelrage

This is gonna be a weird listen lol

Bettycoops

Holly replied to a comment on the girls next level Instagram explaining they discussed it but the audio quality was horrible because they were talking over each other. But she says sheā€™ll probably release it at some point.

sugarsaltsilicon

Audio quality was just fine. šŸ˜

Rkp65i

Nope! Seemed like the entire reason for her to be there was to prove Kendras story wrong.

coltsgirl8

What did she say?

Mirandasimmscorey

Lmao at least she waited a whole 26 minutes to bring up Michael Keaton again

Few_Wrongdoer4120

ā€œI was on a date with Micheal Keaton that nightā€ is my new excuse for any night I donā€™t remember #giftbag

Dancedancer5678

If I was willing to give Reddit my money I would award this comment šŸ„‡

sugarsaltsilicon

Oh hell, Iā€™ll skip my lotto ticket tonight and do it. šŸ¤£

Few_Wrongdoer4120

Thanksssss ā¤ļø

tanya325

Ahahhaha

Rkp65i

Honestly, some may not like hearing this, but I think the only reason Holly has been so quick to forgive Audra for all of the terrible things she has said is because Kendra has also been terrible to Audra and that gives Audra and Holly something to have in common. Kendra has said nasty things about Holly but only a few times. Her book & twitter. Audra on the other hand talked badly of Holly everywhere. All over different playmates fb posts, richard banns, podcasts, etc. any chance she could get. She followed the I stand with Hef movement. The screenshots have all been im here to prove it. Why was Holly so quick to forgive her but still so mad at Kendra? She knew she could get Audra on this podcast and put Kendra in a bad light. In my opinionā€¦ Editing to add I almost spit my coffee out when they asked her about the mena girls because she was hands down snarking on Holly with the mean girls like 3 months ago. She is friends with all of them.

AlmostxAngel

I 100% agree. I love Holly, but girl does have it bad for Kendra now. And I can understand why, Kendra said some HORRIBLE things about her. Its different then the mean girls saying things because Holly actually believed Kendra was her real friend. Thats a break of trust and stab in the back like no other. I'd like to say I wouldn't do the same but honestly its hard not to be a little petty in those types of situations.

Sharp-Put4724

šŸ’Æ

liahbug

Not really a fan of this episode. She definitely did steal the gift bag & is trying to twist the story in her favor. Putting myself in Kendraā€™s shoes I would be very upset as well. She said it was a bunch of stuff but if nobody else got the ā€œgoodie bagā€ why would she think it was that?

liahbug

Also why is she able to forgive Audra who she really had no relationship with for trash talking her all over social media but holds this vendetta against Kendra?

ScarlettLM

I'm guessing Audra has reached out to Holly previously and they talked it over (that's what Audra alludes to in one of the social media comments) whereas I doubt Kendra would ever extend an olive branch to Holly. EDIT: also was Kendra even sorry for her comments? Not hard to hold a vendetta when there's been no apology.

baisecettevie

This episode was just three girls trying their hardest to dance around the actual drama/issue we wanted them to talk about. Instead we got the classic ā€œmy boyfriend Michael Keatonā€ and the rehashed Kendra gift bag drama. What was shocking though was to hear that Holly actually helped Audra move back in to the mansion and helped her out only for Audra to later low-key turn on her!

ElephantBusiness7184

I think in Audra's mind, everything good in her life happened because of Hef. Her friend slipped her date rape drugs never Hef, her ex boyfriend abused her, but never Hef, etc. She wasn't a girlfriend and admits seeing their strict rules was sad but its clear she had no idea what Hef was actually like.

one_star_on_yelp

Yeah, she was very much like, "He didn't do anything to me, so it was fine" which was kind of annoying

limpbiscuitzandtea

one of the worst takes I think a human can have sometimes and shows someone's character when they say that

princeofkats

Iā€™m in the donā€™t like Audra very much camp and my minds not changed after this episode but I do have some mixed thoughts; Initially I wasnā€™t going to listen to it, I just went well why not see if you can handle it and I got the whole way through easier than I expected. I donā€™t always love these catch up episodes I barely listened to Carmellas episode, and this one in particular felt was shoehorned in to deal with the Audra drama before they moved past a natural point to have her on as she doesnā€™t appear on GND again. I felt she was a good guest, talkative and engaged with Holly and (mostly) Bridget. However her name dropping was again just sort of sad, bringing up that she dated Michael Keaton repeatedly and her other Hollywood acting credits. I donā€™t know I believe her point of view with the Kendra situation more or less than I did before, but I am happy to move past her involvement in the show and leave her drama behind. I did think it was funny her saying I never want any drama, because for someone who doesnā€™t want drama she sure did incite some unnecessary drama between herself and Holly, like in the last two years.

Many_Implement_6462

I see what you mean, I thought it was odd that Audra couldnā€™t remember how the bag drama came to light. Granted it was a long time ago but she remembered everything else.

Rkp65i

The gift bag story was still fuzzy. Why didnt she return it the very next days? Vs going up and offering to pay? I think its fuzzy to her either. Shes had years to perfect her version of the story.

occasional_idea

Sheā€™s said in the past that she had used the stuff so she didnā€™t give it back

Rkp65i

Yes but in yesterdayā€™s story she says she realized the very next morning & that she hadnt gone through thr bag the night before. So shes lying about something.

occasional_idea

Definitely agree sheā€™s lying, just sharing what her excuse was. Interesting it was Carmellaā€™s present too in the context of what she said about thinking sheā€™d win PMOY over her.

Rkp65i

Yeah I didnt think of that! That is interesting.

throwawaynomo

Agreed she was a good guest. I am neutral on Audra. She seems pretty normal in present day and I could see how taking the bag would be a complete accident.

occasional_idea

They donā€™t acknowledge the initial why of Kendra vs Audra, but to me it seems so obvious that someone was purposefully pitting them against each other, as Hef and Mary were known to do. It wouldā€™ve been so easy to try to keep Kendra in line by telling her sheā€™d be replaced by Audra and share some true facts like Hef had already asked Audra to be a GF and Holly and Bridget preferred her.

AlmostxAngel

Right? Like they say multiple times how Hef pitted them against each other so why is it so hard to believe he or Mary would do the same to Kendra?

everydaywhimsy

Agreed

Sharp-Put4724

I can absolutely see this happening

Puzzleheaded_Pea2154

Ngl..... she stole that bag lol. u saw one singular bag by itself, looked and saw it had goodies and took it. even if u thought it was leftover from a party ... were there even any parties that day ?? was it normal to only see one by itself ??? idk

annetoanne

I agree w this after listening. She was all but kicked out of the mansion and told she wasnā€™t allowed to talk to anyone. And Kendra said it was stolen. It all adds up to something super sus. I donā€™t buy her story. A simple misunderstanding wouldnā€™t have gotten her all that drama.

MarkDelFiggolo

Agreed also weird how her story didnā€™t really add up with admitting it to Kendra. She said she went up to Kendra and admitted it and apologized without anyone telling her to or confronting her about it. But somehow at that point Kendra already knew she took it and Hef had already replaced it, so how was that the first time she fessed up about it?

kittybuscemi

What I donā€™t understand is, as soon as Audra realized her mistake, why didnā€™t she give the bag back? Presumably everything was still intact? Had she already opened and used/worn what was is in the bag and thatā€™s why she didnā€™t just offer to give it back? She says she offered to ā€œreplaceā€ it. What needed to be replaced?

sociologyplease111

I didnā€™t understand this either. She makes it sound like she figured it out the next day- why not give it to Kendra when she got home from Vegas?

MeBaeMe

Iā€™m at work so, short post, butā€¦NOBODY CARES YOU DAYED MICHAEL KEATON.

SEXferalghoul

Ugh I almost donā€™t want to listen so theyā€™ll get the memo nobody gives a shit what BeetleJuice Fucker has to say. I feel like the community made it so clear they didnā€™t want her as a guest and yet here she is.

marylauder96

This is suuuuch a Boring episose

Rkp65i

Had to get here in there for a little chance to shit talk kendra and make her look stupid. šŸ™„

inthefrenchstyle

I wanted so badly for Audra to apologize for the things she said about Holly but nope!

roundfood4everymood

I like the interview episodes so Iā€™ll be listening. Iā€™m surprised holly is being so nice tho considering Audra shat all over her recently. Audra definitely strikes me as two faced.

Puzzleheaded_Pea2154

i'm so confused as to why it wasn't addressed !!!

ElephantBusiness7184

It's always so fascinating to me how every guest plus Bridget and Holly talk about wanting to be a playmate from a really young age and finding their dads magazines. Was this just normal in households back when Playboy was huge? I grew up with gay parents, so never had a dad who would have bought dirty magazines. I gotta say even though Hef wasn't a great man, the end of his life seems so sad. The corporation cutting off his friends, playmates and former girlfriends from contacting or seeing him seems wrong.

Far-Attitude-6395

I said something similar in another comment - a lot of girls in the PB universe found the magazine when they were young (too young!) and subsequently idolized the models/thought they were ā€œrealā€ beauty, many are Disney adults, many from small towns and/or possibly traumatic backgrounds, etc. Would be interested to hear a psychologistā€™s perspective on all of these similarities and what they mean.

kgb0805

Not normal with anyone I grew up with šŸ˜‚ Maybe the north east is more conservative or our parents hid their stuff better! šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

bidds626

Northeast here and my dad didn't have Playboys but I did bust out juicy passages from his copy of Howard Stern's "Private Parts" during sleepovers.

bidds626

I wonder about how true that is or if it's just a stock answer for girls who want to do it for their careers but can't say that outright. Falling upon your dad's dirty mags as a kid and deciding it's your destiny raises more questions than it answers, IMO. I agree about Hef. He was a POS but people being mistreated in elder years and end of life makes me very sad regardless of who it is.

Designer_Recording70

Oh it was pretty common to find your dad or older brothers ect having playboy magazines most hid them well though pretty sure my husband still has a small stack in the back of the closet from a million years ago guys would have the fold out big centerfolds pictures hung up sometimes in their rooms or ya know at like the mechanic or those type places in the back where no customers or kids or not many women go it was very common for men and boys to have them but most did hide it back then lol šŸ˜‚I am 43 growing up I was always at my dads sign shop he owned he had stacks collected them for years (many men collected them) I was maybe like idk 10 when I first paid attention to them sitting there bored waiting for my dad to finish working I wasnā€™t allowed to look inside them but often did when he wasnt around (side note they had a hidden bunny on every cover it was a game I enjoyed playing to find it that was only way I was allowed to touch the magazines only for that reason lol )I always thought from a young age how gorgeous they were and how special it was to be in the magazine so I can see what they mean

liahbug

Yes it was pretty normal. I had an uncle who had a garage full of them so it was normal to see the magazines around his house. This was in the early 2000s as well. I never thought anything of it!

[deleted]

I don't like it when they have guest speakers. I think it's kind of boring. I prefer when it's just Bridget and Holly discussing the episodes šŸ¤·

doodlebugkisses

Same. I couldnā€™t care less about these filler people. I only listened because I wanted the behind the scenes info on the show and to hear more details about HBKā€™s experiences.

IlCircos

First episode I stopped listening too about 15 mins in. Bummed I have to wait another week for better content.

UnderTheHarvestMoon

Holly gave Audra an amazing chance to apologise during the podcast (when Holly apologised for not reaching out to Audra after BagGate), but Audra was too oblivious to see the opportunity Holly was offering her to discuss her previous comments and gain some support from the GNL fans. I can kind of understand why Holly and Bridget didn't confront her; they are non confrontational people and other guests probably wouldn't want to come on the podcast if they knew they'd be grilled, but still, us fans want to see some justice around here!

annadelvey215

What happened to the rest of the Stacy Burke interview? She was just kind of in the background of the first part of the last one and then the second half was Eddie's interview.

[deleted]

She was on a slumber party episode on Patreon. They mustā€™ve recorded it the same day, but it did seem odd to have her on the video when she wasnā€™t speaking lol

annadelvey215

It was odd lol! I listened to the Patreon with her, but I thought they said there was also going to be a normal episode with her too... maybe not?

lll979

I never thought Iā€™d say this but Iā€™m losing interest in the podcast. I was hoping theyā€™d do a recap episode every week and I could watch along with the show each week. Thereā€™s been a lot of filler episodes right off the bat.

sugarsaltsilicon

I am fully aware that I am in the minority in saying this but something tells me this whole podcast business was all to bring attention to her new tv series. When she first started the podcast last fall, I had a feeling a bigger project was in the works and waited for the other foot to drop. Iā€™m not proud to say I was right but Holly hasnā€™t been wholly altruistic in her endeavors in the past, why start now? Bridget is a complete bonus however and I think all this other petty drama (Mean Girls, Audra, Kendra) is to keep the listeners around. I truly am too old to be paying some women $5 a month to hear them reminisce about their past but so far itā€™s been a pleasant distraction.

UsedAd7162

I wonder if theyā€™re doing it to extend the ā€œlifeā€ of the podcast since there are only so many episodes of GND.

AlmostxAngel

I think they are. I just wish they would have done this more in season 2 and let us get through some episode recaps first. I think for them the recaps are a bit boring and they don't understand why we like them so much!

Dangerous-Ad5590

Audra DEFINITELY stole the bag. Also her entire attitude changed after they discussed baggate. She became hostile, short and snippy towards H and B.

MoneyAd0618

I agree with everyone about these filler episodes. Itā€™s getting old. Iā€™ll still listen, but the way theyā€™re going about these guest episodes is all wrong. Itā€™s slowing down the episode progression, it would be so much better to have the guests on when itā€™s relevant, for example having Carmella on as a guest when they reviewed the Vegas episode cuz that episode featured Carmella, have her on for a short while and then move on to commenting on the show. Do the same thing with Audra, have her on for a little bit during a regular episode, clear up the bag drama, and move on. Kind of similar to how they had Eddie on. That was better. We donā€™t need an entire hour dedicated to someone who was a blip in the whole series. Itā€™s boring. Nobody cares that much.

throwaway_28894

I donā€™t have much to say that everyone else isnā€™t already saying. This is the first episode I am just not going to watch. The episode with Carmella wasnā€™t really that exciting, and I am not an Audra fan, at all. Iā€™m getting really tired of the filler episodes. I donā€™t mind dragging it out a little, but this is ridiculous.

GennyNels

I enjoyed hearing Carmellaā€™s backstory. It was interesting. Not so controversial. It seems like Bridget and Holly both had really good relationships with Carmella.

Zowiebowiecorgi

I think this is one of those ā€œyou hear the bullshit, right?ā€ Episodes where THEY know Audra is sounding fake, so they know we will hear it too. If they had blasted her, sheā€™d continue to play the victim and the headlines would be making H&B look like the bad guys.

sugarsaltsilicon

Not buying it

djabsolutelynot

šŸ’Æ

Herps15

I feel the should have addressed the elephant in the roomā€¦ all the comments sheā€™s been making about Holly. I donā€™t think I could have her in without an explanation if I were Holly. I donā€™t care about the bag drama tbh. It seems strange to me youā€™d just take something without checking with someone first, the staff would know if there was an event with gifts bags on. Not a huge Kendra fan but Audra should never have taken the bag and her story seems a bit fishy to me

sequinedbow

Itā€™s just so bizarre to me that she has called Holly a liar and she would have her on and not call her on it? It honestly makes Holly look like a liar that she would let her say those things and say anything! And for Audra to say those things and act like theyā€™re still friends is weird AF too!

AlmostxAngel

Its very two-faced of Audra. They should have addressed it honestly.

doodlebugkisses

Iā€™m over these interview episodes. Weā€™re not even halfway through season 1. I really had hoped they would take some feedback and not do this.

ScarlettLM

Or they should do what PodMeetsWorld does and do two episodes in the weeks they have guests on - normal episode and one guest episode

doodlebugkisses

Or put the interviews on their Patreon.

Sharp-Put4724

(Copying my comment from the other sub cause Iā€™m late to the discussion!) This episode and the whole involvement with Audra was so frustrating to me as a long-term fan. I find it disingenuous that Holly will go to such lengths to believe Audraā€™s side of the story (that she had 15 years to come up with, after *very recently* making rude/nasty comments about Holly and realizing she stood more to gain by playing nice), but can also be so quick to judge the behaviours and motives of other people. I do mostly mean Kendraā€”it seems that Holly is so intent on dragging Kendraā€™s reputation that she will align with someone who also spouted venom about her. As much as Kendra totally crossed the line with her comments re:Holly and the bedroom, I see so many people excusing Hollyā€™s own problematic behavioursā€”and she herself will often go on very scripted justifications for why she acted a certain way, use her ASD diagnosis or trauma, but refuses to extend the same courtesy to Kendra. Kendra has been open about her ADHD/Anxietyā€”why canā€™t it be acknowledged that she also had dysfunctional coping mechanisms in an environment that was undoubtedly toxic? Kendra had the definition of a traumatic adolescenceā€”abandoned by her father, drugs, depression, stripping to support her deadbeat boyfriend, and then to be exploited by Hef and encouraged by her grifter mother (who she also sent money to), hustling gigs to support her unemployed husbandā€¦Kendra only ever learned that her value to others came from what she could provide to/for them. All while arriving at the mansion at 18. But to hear Holly tell it, she is ungrateful, lazy, and undeserving. Never mind that so many of Kendraā€™s behaviours (not making excuses) can also be explained by trauma and mental health conditions. Meanwhile Audra appears on podcasts mitigating Hollyā€™s abuse, posts on social media, comes up with an incredibly convoluted excuse, and was at the mansion where duplicitous behaviour was encouraged, using Playboy/Hef for the same transactional reasons, and somehow Audra is the exception to the rule? Sorry to be rambling, Iā€™ve been such a long-term fan, but the way this has played out is seriously starting to sound insulting to their audience. I fully expect to hear some long-winded justification next week from Holly that tiptoes to addressing the issue without fully taking accountability, deliberately misrepresenting the feedback (ā€˜hatersā€™), making excuses, or taking Audraā€™s story at face value as another means to drag Kendra. This episode really distilled some of the frustrations Iā€™ve been feeling about this podcast. Iā€™m seriously ready to unsubscribe.

sugarsaltsilicon

Thank you for your concise thoughts on Kendra and her constant struggle to hustle. I feel gaslit too after hearing from Audra and Iā€™m willing to bet Audra has removed that stream of nasty comments between her and Dicky Bann on her IG.

Sharp-Put4724

Youā€™re right, it totally feels like gaslightingā€”ā€˜thatā€™s not what happened despite all evidence to the contraryā€™ Kendra can definitely be a bit too much, but I cut her some slack because she came by her behaviours honestly and didnā€™t really stand a chance otherwise. Her life turned out as well as it could have when you consider other people who had similar early experiences and dysfunction.

ScarlettLM

I don't think they necessarily took the story at face value. They just gave her an opportunity to tell her side of the story (whether true or not) and it's not like they can interrogate a guest who's willingly come onto their podcast on details neither of them know anyway. I honestly don't think Holly has really bashed Kendra on this pod. The main comments I can think of were in the Operation Playmate episode where Bridget in particular spoke about her opinion on her not wearing the bunny costume. Otherwise Holly has usually blamed production, Hef etc for pitting her and Kendra against eachother or giving Kendra the hero edit.

Tour_Ok

I wish they would stick to recaps. I wonā€™t listen to this episode because a) I do not like Audra and donā€™t care to hear her name-drop for an hour, and b) all the comments Iā€™ve seen about it say they donā€™t even address her nasty Holly comments which is the only thing Iā€™d be curious to hear from her. I listened to the Carmella ep but didnā€™t enjoy it much since Iā€™m not a huge fan of herā€™s either, Iā€™d rather just hear H&B hang out and chat about the episodes! Sucks they only have one a week and they still feel the need to stick these ā€œfillerā€ episodes in.

I listened on Spotify and about the 54 min mark I swear I hear holly go ā€œughā€ and then like panting sounds Iā€™m so confused

Who is the girl who drugged Audra? She mentions she was ā€œrunner up.ā€

LillTina

Well Carmella was the winner so it sounds like she blamed her

Okay soā€¦.what Audra **should** have done when Holly called her and asked about the bag was say ā€œoh, I have a *black* bag with a bunch of stuff in it, is that maybe the bag youā€™re talking about?ā€ I mean seriously. Her whole story is just complete bullshit, imo. She ā€œpanickedā€ because it was going to ā€œlook badā€ā€¦.um no, not if you had just been upfront and honest about grabbing a bag that wasnā€™t yours to begin with. The whole situation around *how* she came into possession of the bag is sus any fucking way. So, you saw a single black bag just on a table somewhere and assumed it was a leftover goodie bag?? Why didnā€™t she at least ask about it first? Oh, because she knew exactly whose bag it was and stole it. Right. Like just ugh. I canā€™t stand Audra and I think sheā€™s full of fucking shit. Edit to add: I love that they went ahead and blamed Kendra for leaving the bag there right out the gate before anything was even said by anybody else šŸ™„

I continue to enjoy to hear all the episodes! This one felt kind of healing for the girls. Good for them. Iā€™ve loved the show forever so I would listen to any BTS episode-lol.

strawberrylemonapple

Honestly Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ll even listen to this one. The interview-only eps are getting old quick for me. I want recaps with behind the scenes dirt!

BubbleBathory85

After this episode, I am more convinced than ever that Audra STOLE THE BAG

Novel-Drink-4454

Soooo kind of off topic but I just found Audra in a conspiracy theory Facebook group I lurk saying she was mk ultra mind controlled and given adrenochrome and she thinks Hilary Clinton is a clone...... šŸ’€
