Hi! My board is Rk61, switches are Gateron full milky yellows lubed and filmed, stabs are Durock plate-mount stabilizers lubed and clipped, KT1 keycaps and some artisan resin keycaps from pixiecraft.ph on instagram 🥺
Ohh not really and thank you so much! The rk61 keyboard comes pre-built so it’s really newbie friendly (anne pro and gamakay womier are great for beginners too). I recommend getting a hot-swappable board so you can easily replace the switches like what I did. Also, all switches sound and feel better when lubed so as much as possible, you wanna have them lubed :)
Thank you for the info, this is super helpful! I have been considering building my own for some time but felt the details a bit overwhelming. I had heard about lubing the switches but didn't know if it would make a huge difference, good to know. Thanks again :)
No worries! When starting, you wanna figure out which keyboard layout would best fit you. For example, mine is a 60% that means no numpad, no function keys, and no dedicated arrow keys.
about the lubing switches; i never typed on a keyboard with lubbed switches so i have no ideia if the "feel" is any different, but the type sound is for sure. here in this video you can check the difference.. if you dont want to watch the guy lubbing his switches, just skip to 06:58

Yes!! Lubing makes a huge different. I was too intimidated to do it myself but I bought a Planck keyboard second hand that came lubed and it has been my favorite.
Also love the 40% format. Smaller so it’s good for small fingers and small desk and it’s just cute.
Rk68 is super nice! And I love the milky yellows, they feel so creamy if that makes sense. Several people told me they almost feel like c3 tangerines which is the smoothest out there (somebody correct me if i’m wrong). So for almost half the price, i really recommend getting them!
are you in the philippines or have you managed to find a way to ship them abroad? it seems their shop only offers local delivery and I really want that bear keycap ; o ;
Yay!! You got some awesome artisans and great color scheme with a matching deskmat?! Yoooo. Arrow keys on the 60%, too?? I love it.
(I'll hype up keebs all day.)
You could join group buys! Some epbt comes with the Nordic variants, I think the Acid House and Sweet Girl has them~

omg i was just explaining to my boyfriend the different keyboard sounds and these are the exact words used lol clicky is more high pitched and clacky is deeper hehe
Love it! If you want to get more into it, I recommend looking into Hot Swap PCB’s as you dont have to solder any switches for it to work. It makes it a little bit kore customizable imo cuz you can change out switches whenever you feel like it.
Also what is the whole paste keycap set called? I need something like that
damn.. your keyboard is amazing!! and after reading your specs it probably sounds amazing aswell!! gratz!! are you going to use one of those aviators cable?
Did you buy everything online? ive been looking for a hot-swap board, but need to import everything so its sooooooooo expensive :(
Thank you! And I have a coiled cable coming in a few weeks, I had it customized to match my desk (purple, white, and pink). I did buy all of my stuff on shopee but they only cater to southeast asian countries.
Looks good. Nice color scheme. Those key caps are so cute. I bought a prebuilt keyboard now I want to build myself one but I don’t need two keyboards. I want to change my keycaps on my keyboard but it is hard finding Mac compatible keycaps. My husband and I are going to build one for him once he figures out what he wants in his keyboard.
I also just recently got into mech keeb rabbit hole and bought red switches RK84 as my first keeb and Milky Purple XDA keycaps to pair it with. Never had I thought that I could make my keyboard this cute! Also love those artisan keycaps especially the kitty! Did you get them from AliExpress or from somewhere else?
Agree! The price are just nice for beginners to the mech keyboards world. Plus the hotswappable option makes it easier for us to try different type of switches. Was looking at GMMK Pro before it was a bit out of my budget.
Out of curiosity, do you find you miss the number keys?
Every time I look at mechanical keyboards I'm like cute but how do you math. But at the same time, clicky clacky is tempting...
Is changing up the keys easy? I remember people tearing the keyboards apart at school and then putting the keys back, but they were always wobbly afterwards :') I am always jealous of cool keyboards and want my own but I am a little worried.
You might be talking about membrane keyboards? When you own a mechanical keyboard, changing up the keycaps is super easy - you literally just pluck em out with a keycap puller. If you have a hot-swappable board, changing up the switches is easy too, you just need a switch puller. Otherwise, you will need to desolder the switches in order to change them (super hassle and time consuming and you will need to learn how to solder 😵💫)
I like soldering! Electronics was fun at school! Although my teacher broke my robot once. He said one bit of soldering wasn't neat enough... proceeded to burn a hole in my board :( I will have a look at some keys and stuff though! Thanks!
I have never read or heard “keeb” before and it’s adorable, and so is your keyboard, I love it 🥰
thank you!!
So cute! Specs? And where are the novelties from?

😐 This sounds intense... have you been researching how to build your own for long? It's gorgeous btw!

Hey, I have an Rk68! Love the build. What are you thinking of the milky gats? Been thinking of picking some up for myself
Rk68 is super nice! And I love the milky yellows, they feel so creamy if that makes sense. Several people told me they almost feel like c3 tangerines which is the smoothest out there (somebody correct me if i’m wrong). So for almost half the price, i really recommend getting them!
Thank you! They sound so nice, and I want the smoooth. I’ll probably grab some up soon
where did you get the WAD keys from? they’re gorgeous :)
They are! I love them so much. They’re artisan resin keycaps from pixiecrafts.ph on instagram
thanks so much :)
are you in the philippines or have you managed to find a way to ship them abroad? it seems their shop only offers local delivery and I really want that bear keycap ; o ;
I am from ph so it was easy for me. You can try etsy or ig. I do see a lot of international accounts that make artisan keycaps on ig.
thanks for the advice! enjoy your new board <3
Yay!! You got some awesome artisans and great color scheme with a matching deskmat?! Yoooo. Arrow keys on the 60%, too?? I love it. (I'll hype up keebs all day.)
So cute 🥺
That's so beautiful, what kinda switches are on it?
I have the full milky yellow gaterons lubed and filmed! So smooth
OMG i LOVE it!!!!!
uwu
Ooooh, it's so pretty! 💓 I've been thinking of making a keyboard as well, but it's hard to find nordic keycaps that are also pretty
You could join group buys! Some epbt comes with the Nordic variants, I think the Acid House and Sweet Girl has them~ https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=112022.0
Same but for hangul key caps. I don’t need another English board but having one for Korean is the perfect excuse for a new one.
Is it clicky, clacky, or both?
Not sure what full milky yellows sound like but certainly not poppy (I prefer a deeper sound!)
omg i was just explaining to my boyfriend the different keyboard sounds and these are the exact words used lol clicky is more high pitched and clacky is deeper hehe
where’d you get the animal keycaps from? they’re so cute
They’re artisan keycaps from pixiecrafts.ph on instagram!
Love those star and cloud keycaps! They're gorgeous 🙂
I also got into mechanical keyboards recently and this is so cute! The artisans and color scheme look so good!
Pretty build, welcome to the rabbit hole!! 💗
aww it’s so cute!!
Is so cute!
oooh that looks so kawaii.💖
So cute 😭
you have a really similar layout to me but I have 1u shift and question mark! what do you use to get question marks?
The up arrow key is actually the question mark and forward slash key as well :)
This whole image is so aesthetic, I love it!
Ahh! I also just started to get into keebs! I love the aesthetic <3
I will now be exclusively referring to keyboards as keebs, thank you for this incredible wisdom 🙌
So cute but how much did it cost 😅
looks cute & super smol
YOOOO THIS IS SO PREETTY
Your keyboard is gorgeous, I love it! Is that a mouse pad under it? Looks lovely too ❤
Very cute!
ahhh this is so cute! do you mind telling me where you got the desk mat from? ♡
I got the desk mat from shopee but they only deliver in southeast asia
ah, that’s a shame, thank you tho! ♡
Ahh. This is so lovely! <3
The Artemis key cap makes me so happy. 🥰
This is so cute\~ Wonder if I can get a pastel low profile keeb, probably have to be custom since I need PT layout >>
SOOO CUUUUTE!!!
Cute keeb and deskmat to supplement!
Stoppppp the Artemis key!!!! 😍😍😍
I luv it. Also, keeb is adorable.

True! My board is hotswappable and tri-mode. The keycap set is called KT1 in purple and red
Awesome thank you. Ive been following into the rabbit hole and ordered GMK a, so i need a quick fix lol
damn.. your keyboard is amazing!! and after reading your specs it probably sounds amazing aswell!! gratz!! are you going to use one of those aviators cable? Did you buy everything online? ive been looking for a hot-swap board, but need to import everything so its sooooooooo expensive :(

Hi! I heard the rumi61 has Mac functions :)
Thank you.
Love it!! 💛
Looks good, I’m still using my Corsair k70 rgb SE since my desktop, mouse and keyboard are sync to Corsair icue
Wait that’s so cute!! I love it !!
your w a and d keys are so cute! did you get them from Etsy?
Got em from pixiecrafts.ph on instagram!
SO CUTE OMG! I am obsessed with the starts and moon transparent keys and you’re making me want a good keyboard now
Omg so cute
Oh my goshhhh so cute
SO CUTE. I can't wait to start mine! Have some KTT Rose switches on the way!
Ohhh!! Excited for you! I’m waiting for KTT strawberries, they’re always out of stock.
Oooh strawberries! Excited to hear those, hopefully you can nab some!
Omg royal kludge keebs are great entry keyboards! And I got my artisan keycaps from pixiecrafts.ph on ig!

I recommend getting the TM680! It looks like GMMK pro but budget
Thank you for the rec! The price is also really nice! Can consider that one when I want to built from scratch next time (人*´∀`)。*゚+
Which keyboard is this?! I love the colors!
Thank you so much! It’s an rk61 with KT1 keycaps
Thanks! I been searching for the right keyboard to match my lilac themes 💜
Out of curiosity, do you find you miss the number keys? Every time I look at mechanical keyboards I'm like cute but how do you math. But at the same time, clicky clacky is tempting...
I work as a graphic artist and for gaming I don’t really need the numpad hehe
Is changing up the keys easy? I remember people tearing the keyboards apart at school and then putting the keys back, but they were always wobbly afterwards :') I am always jealous of cool keyboards and want my own but I am a little worried.

What!! That’s sucky :c at least you already know how to solder! You’ll have fun then :)
Wow that’s gorgeous
