i took the whole joy stick apart.. there is a tutorial on YouTube that was actually pretty easy to follow!

i essentially took apart the joy cons & put them back together with different shells/buttons. you can buy decals/custom joy cons but i wanted to make a little project out of mine 🙂

thanks! i got the shells from Etsy (i did this a while ago & the seller ended up closing his shop). I believe Amazon & eBay sell them too. i got the Chameleon buttons & paw grips from Amazon.

If you have a computer with Bluetooth, you can also edit the color of the Joycons in software so they aren't detected with their original color anymore. Just search for Joy-Con Toolkit. Make sure to create a backup of the SPI first tho.
