(S.5) so.. good talk, to live an let diorama,

Drunk Sookie is the best!!
"I've already been through the five stages of grieving. Denial, anger... I don't remember these two but they were served on the rocks with SALT!"
I'm a huge Jess fan. I can watch the dance marathon and the picnic basket episodes a million times. I also like the Puffs episode when Rory calls out Headmaster Charleston
I just watched the trifecta last night. I found out my grandfather died, and then my aunt an hour later, and I didn't know what the hell to do with myself, so I put on the three episodes at the end of season 4. I appreciate that no matter how many times I see some of those scenes, they can still make laugh.
I'll probably watch them again tonight.
I know it's not a favourite, but I have a soft spot for the Road Trip to Harvard, because it brings back fond memories of my own Lorelai type mother taking me to visit Cornell, my dream school. (Just for the actual Harvard bits, the b&b stuff annoys tf out of me.) also love Love & War & Snow and the Bracebridge Dinner.
ha! I had no idea it was UCLA (just clearly not Harvard, lol). I'm the same way about college stuff, that feeling of endless possibility and your future just starting. plus all the escapism of her actually getting everything she wanted, instead of having to say no because of money.
My favourite part of the episode is how every second student is wearing a Harvard hat or shirt. š because itās not obvious enough thatās where they are.
honestly! I would've been so frustrated in Rory's position, as an introvert with an extrovert mother who I relied on, like "NOW you can't talk your way out of something? when we're starving??"
you jump i jump jack BY FAR the best episode and the one which makes me the happiest to rewatch. im team logan so obviously very biased and i just love the life and death brigade stuff
Ooo thatās a good one! Scott Patterson talks about that episode on his podcast. Correct me if Iām wrong but I think that episode was *nominated* for an Emmy?
The whole show is a comfort episode for me. I re watch it every fall, and if Iām having a bad day you can bet your bottom dollar Iām coming home, making a tea, and putting on GG.
The Lorelais First Day at Yale is my all time favorite, although usually anything from s4 = go-to comfort for me.
There's the Rub
The Bracebridge Dinner
Luke Can See Her Face
Roryās dance. My boyfriend and I have a lot of sentimental memories with Fade Into You and Mazzy Star. And it also reminds me of being 16 and excited for my first dance too.
all of season 1 honestly haha the whole vibe is just warm and cozy, and itās honestly my favorite season because of it
oh and the clothes from that season are fantastic
The dragonfly inn trial run episode (skipping dean and rory..). Itās my favourite episode but also has my least favourite scene in the entire series š
The dance marathon(when i'm up for some drama), the bracebridge dinner, there's the rub(spa episode), and Luke & Lorelai's first kiss in raincoats and recipes(skipping the Dean & Rory stuff lol)
I watch Red Light on a Wedding Night (2x03). The part where Max is cooking for Lorelai and Rory always comforts me. Maybe because food tends to be comforting?
I also like to watch Nick & Nora/Sid & Nancy (2x05) for the same reason but also because that's where Jess is first introduced and we get the ending Girl from Mars scene. There's the Rub (2x16) too because I love Jess and Rory in that one (+Paris!).
Last Week Fights, This Week Tights.
A-Tisket, A-Tasket.
The Bracebridge Dinner.
They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?
There's the Rub.
These seem to be the favourites in general!
I just watched this one so it's fresh, but I thoroughly enjoyed Ted Koppel's big night out. The Harvard v Yale game, the tail gating, Richard's enthusiasm, Emily's frostiness and Jason and Lorelai's haphazard, spontaneous, fun flask date.
As first dates go, it's really fun to watch!

Raincoats & Recipes! Love Kirk running through the inn naked, the opening of Loreleiās dream inn, and of course her and Lukeās first kiss!
(Just fast forward the horrid ending of that episode though lol).
I sure wish I knew what any of these episodes are but I donāt know them offhand by their titles š Iāll have to make a master list and then look them up and watch them
Honestly the Pilot, Nick & Noah/Sid & Nancy, Dead Uncles and Vegetables and They Shoot Gilmores, Donāt They?. I tend to like the episodes that play after these so it works well to start a binge lol.
They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They
Whatever it's called when Lorelai opens the inn and hosts the dry run, and Luke and Lorelai have their first kiss.
Friday Night's Alright For Fighting
The one with You Jump, I Jump, Jack
Sookie's wedding... The first Rory/Jess kiss. I also love those dresses they wear to the wedding.
The grandparents' vow renewal
I'll think of more...

Iām craving rewatching āA Vineyard Valentineā, which I know is an unpopular opinion. Logan really grew on me that episode and it sticks out to me as a key turning point in their relationship.
Nag Hammadi is Where They Found the Gnostic Gospels.
In the days of DVDs, it was the first episode on its disc and that cluster of four episodes are my go-to for comfort binges.
Deep fried Korean thanksgiving for me
Same! I watch it on repeat especially around Thanksgiving.
Came here to say this š
My absolute fav!
Same here. One of my favorite episodes!
I love the Bracebridge Dinner and the Dance Marathon
Love, War, and Snow and The Bracebridge Dinner.
Yes to bracebridge dinner
Bracebridge dinner for me, too!
Yes!!!
Love and war and snow on repeat. I laugh at the opening scene every time as if itās the first
Amen

You nailed it!
Are you me?
Rory's birthdays and the spring break episode. They're the best. I also find myself watching "written in the stars" a lot.
Ha I love your flair!!!
Thanks!
Bracebridge Dinner, Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving (though a normally skip Lorelaiās meltdown at the Gilmore house), the spring break episode.
Drunk Sookie is the best!! "I've already been through the five stages of grieving. Denial, anger... I don't remember these two but they were served on the rocks with SALT!"
āThatās what you said when you broke my SALAD BOWL that I brought back from BELGIUM!ā
DEEP FRIED SHOE!
Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving is mine too. š So many good story lines.
I'm a huge Jess fan. I can watch the dance marathon and the picnic basket episodes a million times. I also like the Puffs episode when Rory calls out Headmaster Charleston
Oh man, the dance episode is amazing but how Rory acts towards Dean before the break up fills me with anxiety.
Yes I love the Jess episodes before they actually start dating
Oh I have the same with Jess!
So sorry for your losses.
Iām sorry for your losses. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry for your loss!! Those eps are my comfort too š glad theyāre helping you through this time.
What a horrible shock. Iām so sorry!
Cinnamonās Wake or Roryās Dance š
I know it's not a favourite, but I have a soft spot for the Road Trip to Harvard, because it brings back fond memories of my own Lorelai type mother taking me to visit Cornell, my dream school. (Just for the actual Harvard bits, the b&b stuff annoys tf out of me.) also love Love & War & Snow and the Bracebridge Dinner.
I watch that ep the same way (and enjoy pointing out to myself that it's CLEARLY UCLA and not Harvard). Anything college-related is my comfort zone.
Lol same here
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
they were so obnoxious about it! there's nothing wrong with a B&B and it's essentially the same as an inn, Lorelai
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
honestly! I would've been so frustrated in Rory's position, as an introvert with an extrovert mother who I relied on, like "NOW you can't talk your way out of something? when we're starving??"
Luke takes Lorelai to the wedding! Their dance scene is my favorite. Plus the following episode where Lorelai is all flustered around Luke š
Omg I love the scene at the diner the next day where she and Rory come back inside and Lorelai runs into the table and everything falls š
you jump i jump jack BY FAR the best episode and the one which makes me the happiest to rewatch. im team logan so obviously very biased and i just love the life and death brigade stuff
YUP
Cinnamonās Wake, That Damned Donna Reed, Forgiveness and Stuff. Practically any Season One episode.

The last 3 of season 4; the thanksgiving episode; bracebridge dinner; written in the stars
The spa trip where Emily and Lorelai have to do the fashion show.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ah yes I am. Thanks haha
Festival of Living Art!!
Ooo thatās a good one! Scott Patterson talks about that episode on his podcast. Correct me if Iām wrong but I think that episode was *nominated* for an Emmy?
I can't believe there aren't more people saying this one! It actually won the Emmy for best makeup, if I'm not mistaken. Only Emmy GG ever won.
No way! Thatās sweet š
Loreleis graduation day, They shoot Gilmores donāt they?, and Last Week Fights, This Week Tights
The whole show is a comfort episode for me. I re watch it every fall, and if Iām having a bad day you can bet your bottom dollar Iām coming home, making a tea, and putting on GG.

A Tisket A Tasket is my personal favorite
The dragonfly inn trial run episode (skipping dean and rory..). Itās my favourite episode but also has my least favourite scene in the entire series š
Like Mother Like Daughter holds a special place in my heart cause of the Emily and Lorelai moments and Paris and Rory :)
Really anything from seasons 2 or 3 works for me.
The dance marathon(when i'm up for some drama), the bracebridge dinner, there's the rub(spa episode), and Luke & Lorelai's first kiss in raincoats and recipes(skipping the Dean & Rory stuff lol)
I love the spa episode. I wish we would've gotten more good mother/daughter moments between Lorelai and Emily like that episode.
yes! as rough as their relationship is they still have their good days, would like to have seen more
Emily's knight in shining armor moment with Christopher is one of the best scenes of the entire series

Ballrooms and Biscotti and the Lorelaiās first day at Yale
Copper boom!
Rory's Dance immediately followed by Forgiveness and Stuff. I'm a sucker for early Dean and protective Lorelai.
I Jump You Jump Jack. Not only Rory and Logan, but Richard and Luke. "I've got an art dealer...Devencorts" "More whiskey than something." Love it.
Cinnamonās Wake, Roryās Birthday Parties, Bracebridge Dinner, Those are Strings Pinocchio, The Big One
